"Teleporting willy nilly isn't the best idea. Maybe if we weren't on a timeline... Or, I could try by myself and if it didn't work I could bring myself back here. If it does work, I can come back and take you all with me I suppose. It sounds risky though."
Gash sits down with Genny and hands her the FeyTok figure. He casts sending"We're still far away and just had a setback. Could you ask around if we can teleport to you or other help?"
"Oh Tock that could be an excellent idea! Teleport to the place this dragon came from, look around, then look to the horizon down the road, then teleport there. We could do that over the course of the next few days, teleporting somewhere high up on the horizon and then teleporting from there to as far as we can see down the road. That could help us move faster, right Gash?"

Neventi responds in a vein similar to the last several days., "I am safe. Do not rush. Get here when you can. Tell Gentoa I miss her."
As for harvesting the dragon, there are a number of parts that are of value. You can attempt to cut out any part of it, even not knowing its value or use. Dog has managed to pull out 3 green dragon scales completely unbroken. You can attempt this 4 times more to pull out 1d6 scales each time. Gash attempted to identify some magical uses of dragon parts (of which there are said to be many) but mainly he just sees a bunch of guts.
Here are the skill rolls to make to harvest more parts (some parts may be dangerous to harvest. A Nature check can possibly identify which parts):
Draconis Fundamentum (from which the breath weapon is breathed): DEX Gizzard: DEX Heart: INT Eyes: DEX (2 attempts) Liver: INT Scales: STR Skull: STR Teeth: STR (3 attempts) Claws: STR (5 attempts) Tongue: DEX Horn: STR (2 attempts)

“She says, ‘she is safe. we shouldn’t rush. Get here when we can. And tell Genny she loves her... Gentoa, your mommy misses you and loves you very much.”
Gash pulls a dagger out. “Stones take Genny for a second, I’m going to take its heart out!”

Gash- Lvl14 Goblin Wizard - The High Court of the Aasimar Queen
While Gash knows what he is looking for in making the proper cuts, it is very different than actually doing it. The tangle of tissue and guts gets him turned around and before he knows it, Gash accidentally cuts a vital part of the chamber wall on accident, effectively ruining the dragon heart.
Stones takes Genny back towards the cart and distracts her with appearing and disappearing tricks with coins and using Prestidigitation to illustrate children's stories he's heard told in his previous troupe.
He's ready to teleport, leaving the dragon body and carriages and horses behind, with a note saying, "Tock, Gregory, Dog, Stones, Bulwark, and Keyrie slayed this dragon to save their lives. Please take care of the horses and carriage for us. We had to go."

DEX advantage roll for Gash: 5
Gash nearly makes the same mistake with the fundamentum as he did with the heart, this time due to an indelicate touch. But Tock stops him and holds back part of the throat muscles to get a better angle at the organ. This lets Gash get a clean cut and they safely extract the dangerous organ. (valued at 1350 gold.)
Tock then manages to extract both of the eyes (valued at 35 gold each) and the tongue (valued at 50 gold).
Meanwhile, Dog assaults the scales, claws, horns, and teeth. He ends up with 18 scales (valued at 550 gold in total), 6 claws (valued at 35 each), 6 teeth (valued at 35 gold each), and two horns (valued at 125 gold each).
It is grueling and gruesome work, but may trophies are recovered from the creature that alchemists, armorers, and trophy collectors will no doubt find valuable.
Bulwark’s body, calming down from his rage, creaks as he moves, the metal groaning as it’s put under stress outside the heat of battle, “...yes. Further conflict... would not be desireable. Perhaps as we move... you could elaborate about the goings on... upon this road, and where we are headed.”
Dog is on board for trying the teleportation scheme Tock came up with - teleporting to the dragon's lair, hopefully with a view, and then teleporting far down the road? Or just teleporting to the horizon repeatedly...
"Before we try that... let me send to Nev one more time."
Gash thinking something might be up, uses up his last 3rd level spellslot on sending "Are you able to speak freely? Are you safe? Should we rush? Say what you said before if you're in trouble."

Gash- Lvl14 Goblin Wizard - The High Court of the Aasimar Queen
Tone of voice is difficult to gauge using this spell. Neventi seems...annoyed? "I appreciate the updates," she says. "Just worry about Gentoa. She is your charge, not me. I will see you in Masa."
Tock becomes thoughtful for a moment, "Maybe we stay on the road for the day then. Find a place to rest and check out the dragons nest tomorrow. Maybe we'll meet some people heading north who have been to Masa. I mean we could probably pay someone enough to teleport us directly there and spend another month on the road, right?"

Keyrie points out that the gizzard and draconis fundamentum could be dangerous to extract, although that usually also makes them more valuable.
