Gash- Lvl14 Goblin Wizard - The High Court of the Aasimar Queen
Dog wonders aloud, "Tock, do you think you could pick that lock without much fuss and see if the door is trapped? It'd be a little hard for anyone in the house to believe we're legitimate if we get hit by a trap while trying to figure out the locked door."
Turning to Keyrie, he asks the firbolg if she would be able to turn into something small, like an insect, to get inside ahead of the rest of the group and be available to shift back if things went south.
Finally, readying himself for this caper, he starts muttering to Gash, "hope this works. Goal here is to bluster our way in, find Nev, get her out, and leave without being made, right? I'll pretend to be charmed or stunned. These fake manacles aren't very comfortable but I think they'll work and I can see the place to unhinge them, it's clever. We should keep our eyes out for hellish or heavenly representatives who might be able to see through illusions, and also trickery, given what that Jaleinni tried to pull on us. And if we get to her, do we have any way of dispelling whatever charm might have been placed on her? I'm guessing not, so we may have to figure out what to do quickly. At least with Keyrie inside, you'll be able to communicate with her through your message spell, and we may be able to reach Tock, Stones, and Bulwark too."
"Here goes nothing," Dog says, and takes on a vacant, slightly friendly expression, following Gash's lead.
Tock pats all over his body and bags and finally finds the thieves' tools. He walks up to the gate with a brave face, mutters to himself "Tymora help me, I have no idea what I'm doing" (for Guidance) and tries to convince the lock to open: (thieves' tools check) 25
He then doesn't touch anything else and moves back to others, saying "I believe it's no longer locked"
If Keyrie wildshapes into a spider, Dog will offer to let her crawl on his finger and then let her walk onto his shoulder so she can keep up, if she wishes.
"What ideas?" Dog asks Gash trying not to move his lips. "We could proceed quickly before he gets back, or run back to make sure our protectee is still safe, and then head back to the garden and have it out with him. Your ideas work well for either of those?"
"Well, I kind of thought what if there were an elemental here to cause a distraction or maybe one of us could go in invisibly... but maybe just hurrying like you said would be best. Worst comes to worst, I can teleport us out or turn us invisible... let's go."

Gash- Lvl14 Goblin Wizard - The High Court of the Aasimar Queen
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Dog nods when Gash says "Let's go" and says to Gash, "we can teleport us to the alley back to everyone, and then the group of us back to Genny, and then we'll have to figure it out from there. Actually," and Dog bends down to pick up a stone or stick or something from just outside the house, "we can now teleport right back here and then regroup and either run or try teleporting back to the temple if you think it's safe. Also this might be faster if you deplete yourself more and ask Nev where she is."
Realizing all subterfuge has fled, he takes a look inside the door for any movement or figures he can see. (Perception 18) "We should close the door behind us, stay close to each other, and focus on getting Nev out of there. Have to assume the house is being protected somehow, and probably not by just regular non-infernal guards."
Dog's ready to walk in quickly and begin looking around and in the house.
Tock thinks for a moment, remembering his performances with Tick and says, "Lets play."
He moves out to the street about 60 ft away from the gates and on the way casts Thaumaturgy to amplify his voice. Once in position he will use the same spell some more (on next turns I guess) to throw his voice around to different nearby buildings and with his voice he will mimic the alarm sound that comes from the gates. So he aims to create a situation where several places sound the same alarm.

(Gash can only appear up to 1 foot taller, which won't be as tall as the minotaur he say earlier.)
(I’m going to go for it anyway — I have a goodish lie)

Tock says, "So what do we do, just wait here until you return?"

Bulwark shifts in place, in a way that, though hard to tell, makes you think he's uncomfortable. "Advisement: Be safe."

Tock manages to open the lock easily and silently. (15)
(Also, it looks like Keyrie can turn into something as small as a spider, rat, lizard, or frog, all of which could be quite small.)
Spider seems like a good option!
Gashtaur leads Dog into the building trying to look completely confident.
Gash - Lvl14 Goblin Wizard - The High Court of the Aasimar Queen
If Keyrie wildshapes into a spider, Dog will offer to let her crawl on his finger and then let her walk onto his shoulder so she can keep up, if she wishes.
As Gash, Dog, and Keyrie cross the threshold of the outter gates into the courtyard, a shrill bell starts ringing.
Gash pulls Dog back behind the threshold... "You've got to be kidding me... she must be here. Should we leave I have more ideas..."

FYI - Yesterday, Gash used up all teleport charges. Today, he has 3 charges back and has already used one.
(Okay, 6 seconds have passed. The clock is ticking. Better decide what to do!)
