The cannon sparks something in Dog's memory. He has read about fiendish experimentation with constructs after the Mage Wars resulting in powerful, unrelenting engines of destruction. He had thought they were only made as a prototype and never used in true battle. Clearly he is facing one now. This must be a Hellfire Engine .
Gash:
The cannon sparks something in Gash's memory. He has heard tales about an experimental construct made from notes of the fallen mages after the Mage Wars. The resulting engine of destruction was used against goblins to test its unrelenting capabilities but was retired when the Sawtooth clan was able to defeat one, following many deaths. Clearly he is facing one now. This must be a Hellfire Engine .
Martin waves his hand in the manner taught to him by the Druid, and casts absorb elements to absorb some of the cannon blast. When he recovers, he makes two (regular) shots at the Construct (and if the animated armor is within five feet of it, a third shot at it)
Two excellent strikes shatter pieces of the construct's exterior, exposing some of the pipes and gears beneath. His third arrow slides through the narrow opening afforded by the hellish construct, striking the left armor in the helmet.
Althus gasps as he takes the impact, the magical energy that was surrounding him dissipating. He holds up his new magical longsword, taking two swings at the hellish construct in front of him.

After taking that massive hit (I just had to roll a 7 or above D:), Bulwark immediately moves to the side of the door opposite Althus, frenzies, and takes two reckless swings at the other construct.
The first of Bulwark's blows crack the pipes under the exterior armor, causing steam to whistle out of them. His second blow thuds against he armor to no effect.
As a reaction on that last turn, he uses stone's endurance to reduce 11 of the 18 thunder damage he took.
"Oh I've read about these, they're very dangerous. Thought we could save the mason's shop but this could get ugly."
For his action this turn he uses the wand of magic missiles (feel free to use the roll from before for the damage, or I can roll again, your choice!).
He then surges into action and uses his action surge.
He hoists the javelin of lightning and throws it at armor 1, in a path that hits the construct. To get within range, he either has to move to S10, R9, or Q9.
He uses the clockwork amulet to roll an 18 on the attack, and the javelin itself does 11 to the armor, and then both the armor and the construct take 20 lightning damage on a failed DEX 13 save (half on a success).
Extra attack: close to melee with his fancy new warhammer that needs some action: Attack: 13 Damage: 13
