Bulwark stops whirring, his mental computations completing. "Preface: I apologise if this offends, it is not my intent." He does not sounds particularly sorry, but then, he never sounds particularly of anything. "Proposal: The child's link to godhood, I assume it in particular is what drives this contention, as well as her involvement in the prophecy. I do not know if there is any possible way to safely remove it from her, separate her from her divinity, but perhaps that is something we could look into, if you desire to lead a 'normal' life. If this is not something you wish to pursue, please disregard this."
Neventi squeezes her daughter tightly in a hug that makes Gentoa squirm out of her lap. "Oh, I cannot imagine what that would bring down upon us by the heavens or the hells," she says to Bulwark. "Besides, I couldn't rob my little one of any part of who she is." Then she turns to Dog and says, "We can't go back to Marctenus. That town was sacked because of me. Big cities are dangerous for all their unknowns and small towns we risk bringing danger their way..."
She bites her lip as Gentoa runs circles around her chair, giggling breathlessly. "And the longer this drags on, the longer you all are dragged along with it. You've all given so much already. And asked for nothing in return..."
The conversation pauses as Neventi looks off into the distance, deep in thought.
Tock picks up on the thought, "Some of us were part of a circus to begin with," pointing to Dog and Gash, "Well, all of us initially, but life happened.. or death." He sighs.
"Our daily achievement was a good performance and our long term goal was our own survival. What finding you and being on this journey together has given us is greater purpose and the survival and hopefully happiness of a great many people, far beyond what we could have influenced with the circus."
He looks around, now including everyone in his gaze, "I believe I am speaking for all of us if I say that this is the most important journey of our lives."
The peculiar way that Kenku speak makes Tock's speech especially poignant, as phrases and words resound with Althus and Martin's voice, Dog's and Gash's, Bulwark and Stones' and Keyrie's. They can hear Lucian and Tyrol and Q'wai. And Feytok's own voice adds to the chorus from beyond the grave.
Neventi's eyes well as she listens to Tock, her hand covering her mouth to hold back an audible cry. At last she composes herself and says, "Journeys have to end, though."
She looks at Gentoa, who has become fascinated by a moth batting against the window. "I have decided," she says, a tear rolling down her cheek. She sobs as she says, "The Mage King. We are going to Alciondria."
Tock nods and quietly activates his Gem of Seeing just to make sure everyone in the room is who they appear to be and that nobody else is there that should not be. Would be a shame if all sides were to listen in on such important decisions.
"We will need food for us and horses... do we still have horses? Warm clothes. I looked into magical means of warmth but I'm not sure its viable for all of us. We will have my hut and a portable fortress for our journey... Nev, don't worry about repayment... this journey has made us heroes. This journey has given a runaway goblin more than just an act in the circus... its given me purpose. I can be proud of my given name now. We bring bad sometimes but we do good everywhere we go as well. I wouldn't trade it." Gash pulls out the FeyTok figurine. "We've lost along the way,"he places the figure into Nev's hand and then curls her fingers around it, "But none of that was the fault of yours. You forget many of us were chosen. Predestined. And those who weren't were brave enough to join this righteous cause. We will take you to the Mage King. We will see it through."

Gash- Lvl14 Goblin Wizard - The High Court of the Aasimar Queen
Tock says, "We can probably skip the horses and teleport ourselves very close to where we need to go. We can even agree beforehand that if it's not close enough then we can teleport back here and take the horses and the Long Road."
When Tock has his say, Dog places his large, wide hand on his friend's back and nods in agreement. He listens to Nev's answer with rapt attention, and nods. "This simple goliath will help you see it done. It was not our decision to make, and I'm glad you made it. Though I would have really tried to talk you out of going to Aucasia, given everything that's happened. And if you meet the Mage King and something feels off, we can always help you leave and look for a backup option. I know it's hard though, given the terms they set that legally Genny would be his adopted child, and you her technical caretaker. But maybe things aren't as they seem. The one thing I would ask you to remember is, remember you have power in this. Tremendous power."
He also nods when Gash talks about the sense of purpose this journey has given them.
When Tock mentions teleporting, Dog says, "We can do that? To someplace we've never been? Amazing. How? Maybe we can send a scouting group to make sure it's what we think."
"Tock is right... its an option. It's better if we're familiar with the place. But trying to get there blind could yield painful -- possibly fatal consequences. I would suggest a small team go first. I don't want to put Nev or especially Genny in any danger in case we teleport 300ft in the air or something."

(Tock purchased some odds and ends with some probable provenances to use for teleportation.)
Neventi gathers up Gentoa without much more than a whispered "good night" and takes the golden-haired child up to their room, leaving the protectors to plan their next move.
I remembered something happened along those lines but not the details - and I’m not sure Dog knew in character.
Dog asks the group in the morning if there is anything going else they want to do in Tinosa, and then asks Tock what the best candidate is for the first teleport trial. He is happy to be among the first group to scout it out.
Kastaro - A shrunken head said to originate in nearby Kastaro (10gp). Kastaro is not known for this practice but as such is only a somewhat unlikely story. If it is true, the location would be interesting in that it is a port city and not terribly far from Delphendria. Micollos - A skeleton key said to originate from distant Micollos, just south of the Kenku lands. The story the shopkeeper gives is utterly fantastical. It's nearness to Kenku lands is enticing, though. (14gp) Micollos - A book of Kenku children's names that is said to have originated in Micollos. Considering the type of names, this seems likely. (12gp) Alciondria - A grinning idol that very convincingly originates from Alciondria. Obviously this is an enticing item for it's location and its convincing provenance. (24gp) Alciondria - A baby carriage made of bones that is highly likely to have originated in Alciondria. It is a peculiar item, certainly, but it was made as an art piece by an artist local to the capital city, complete with the artist's signature. The artist did not always reside in teh capital, however, so there is a sliver of doubt about the origin. (44gp))
That's right, Gash has been carrying around a baby carriage made of bones.
If Tock were to go scouting as well, he might be able to "check ahead" by casting Augury on the idea of "if we teleport with this baby carriage" for example.

(All is at it appears.)
"Then the decision is made. Are we stocked up and ready to make a journey like this in winter?" Martin looks around to the others to verify.
How far is it from here to our next destination, and is there anything of note between us and there?

(Everyone knows. Tock has shared it all in character.)
Martin would volunteer to scout it out with Dog.
