While the other five maintain a healthy perimeter, Gash returns to Tinosa where Neventi and Gentoa are waiting with the horses and mules. "Took you long enough!" she says with a smile.
"Nuff!" says Gentoa says with her hands on her hips and then she runs in a circle.
It is only a moment before 6 mounts, Gash, Neventi, and Gentoa are standing in Alciondria. People point and begin to gather at the sight of their sudden appearance.
"How did you do that?"
"Can you send me to Delphendria?"
"Where did you come from?"
"What do you charge for your services?"
"My mother is sick. Can you heal her? Or bring her a doctor?"
"Praise Helm!"
"Wait, did you create those horses or transport them here?"
"I don't think this should be allowed."
"Move, coming through! Don't block the whole street!"
"Hot pretzel, while you gawk!"
The crowd presses in, not unruly but definitely excited and curious.
More people seem to have joined the onlookers now, although they are keeping a respectful distance for now. The party is completely surrounded by gawkers, a crowd that seems to be self-reinforcing now.
"Advisement: Ignore crowd and make way into the temple." Bulwark will move in front of the group, ready to physically push people out of the way if they don't move, uncaring for their curioisity or personal space.
Dog takes Bulwark's lead and begins helping to clear a path for the party to move to the temple. "Should have found a more private place for this,"he says, helping Nev and Genny onto their mount, and giving looks to the other party members to mount up to make traveling through a crowd easier. He'll stay on his feet, leading the remaining horse, and trying to clear a path with Bulwark. If people really aren't moving, he'll cast prestidigitation to do things like create a shower of sparks spouting from a wall ten feet ahead of them to attract attention elsewhere and get throngs to break up so they can start to charge through toward the temple.
Unable to press through the growing crowd, Dog attempts to distract the onlookers with magic, which they find terribly impressive. Exclamations precede the crowd growing even larger. Finally, after several minutes of keeping the citizens of Alciondria at bay, the city watch arrive, blowing their whistles and trying to push their way through the crowd.
"Citizen!" says one of the watchpersons when he finally pushes through to the center of the large crowd.. "Explain yourselves."
Dog looks across at the guard and nods respectfully. Inwardly he's sighing at their mistake. When no one else in their group speaks up, he draws a bit nearer to whichever guard seems to be able to listen the most.
"Hail, we are newly arrived to the city, and did not wish to cause a fuss, but we evidently have. We are just trying to get to a temple and get settled in an inn, but evidently we are more interesting than we wish to be. If we could have free passage in Alciondria to do those things, we'd love to be out of your hair. We have a mother and child with us and the crowd spooked the horses and might scare the girl. We have some magic users with us, but no one used magic to harm or interfere with anything. Just trying to go about our day. My name is Doggear Brakespine, if that is information you need to help us do that and set the crowd on their days."
"Hail, we are newly arrived to the city, and did not wish to cause a fuss, but we evidently have."
The city watchperson sighs. He looks to be a veteran, graying at the temples and possibly at the end of a long overnight shift. Or perhaps he is hungover. It is hard to tell.

If we could have free passage in Alciondria to do those things, we'd love to be out of your hair. We have a mother and child with us and the crowd spooked the horses and might..."
"Hang on," he says, holding up his hand. "You skipped over something. You make it sound like you were just walking down the street but I get the impression your arrival was a little more dramatic. I saw that light show, big guy."
"We have some magic users with us, but no one used magic to harm or interfere with anything. Just trying to go about our day. My name is Doggear Brakespine, if that is information you need to help us do that and set the crowd on their days."
The watchperson sighs again, rubbing the bridge of his nose. "You certainly drew a crowd but you haven't really caused a disturbance. Yet. I'll help you disperse the crowd if...what in the nine hells?"
"Junior...Junior get back here!"
The crowd gasps as Dog turns around to see a little boy, no older than 4 years old, standing in front of Gentoa, who is peeking out from behind Neventi's legs. The little boy appears to be singing shyly to Gentoa and marching in a dance-like step to his own song.
...over the rivers that strongly flowed Haddian's bridge on the Long Road Haddian's bridge on the Long Road...
Neventi's daughter is giggling at the older boy, keeping her face half hidden but entranced by the boy's impromptu show. What the crowd sees, and what Dog now sees, are the golden bubbles forming on Gentoa's hair and between her fingers, then rising into the air before they burst in gentle pulses of light. The crowd stills as they watch, nothing more than murmurs.
"Praise Helm..."
"... a miracle..."
"Who is she?"
"Beautiful."
"I can't see."
"I touched one! It tingled!"
The watchperson doesn't take his eyes off her but he does finishes what he was saying, absently. "...if you don't make more of a scene."
“Like I said, we were trying to get her to Milil’s temple and also get rooms at an inn. Off the street. Sir.”he says, stepping between the guard and Genny with his palms facing forward in a gentle mannerism. Dog, using his military background, will try to channel the best ways he has interacted with guards in the past during his time with mercenary groups to project himself as a part of the solution to the problems facing this guard. Clear and to the point.
The watchperson is too enthralled by Gentoa's minor magical display to keep his head in the situation. In fact, the entire crowd is pressing in closer now to try and get a better look. A couple of the horses nicker and stamp their hooves. This causes Gentoa and the boy to stop what they are doing as well. The golden bubbles taper off as she takes more cover behind her mother.
The watchperson looks to one of his fellow officers. "Did you see that?" The watch has become part of the crowd...
"Why did she stop?"
"I didn't see!"
"Do it again!"
"What kind of magic..."
"I'll take two sausage rolls."
"Didn't you see...?"
"Quit shoving!"
"Hey!"
"Stop it!"
"Ow!"
(The dice have led us here, I'm afraid. The crowd has lost control and the watch are no help. Things have turned physical and it will take a physical solution to get out of it.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Martin gets the girls up on a horse and starts guiding them through the crowd. “BULWARK! Get the right, Dog get the left, we’re leaving.” Martin will try to round up the rest of the horses to bring them along in a train of sorts.
assuming an animal handling check is needed: 17 (advantage due to favored enemy being beasts)
Martin calms the horses as the crowd presses in. It will take some strength or agility to push their way through. Some of the crowd are now reaching for Gentoa up on the highest steed, although not yet close enough to actually touch her.

“You’d best keep a healthy distance!”

The crowd backs up as Martin brandishes his weapon.
"Whoa!"
"Hey, watch it!"
"Who are these guys?"
"Put that away!"
"Junior, get back!"
"What are you doing?"
"Easy, buddy!"
Dog darts in between Martin and the crowd, enormous Goliath wingspan spread wide in a placating gesture.
“Pardon the interruption everyone - we are on official royal business, now move along. Show is over.”

"What did he say?"
"Royal business?"
"Has the King returned?"
"Which Royal is it?"
"Is that one of the Ducissas?"
"A Royal on Wool Street?"
"Where are your Royal colors?"
"...one of the wild lands Ladies or Lords?"

This is not at all Dog’s strength, sorry everyone!
Can Dog pick up Nev and Genny and fly up with his boots of flying?
Really thought we might not be teleporting in where we would draw a big crowd...
