Althus raises his voice as he moves his crab claws to push the crowd back, "Please, give us some space. There is no need for you all to be this rough, return to your previous activities for now!"
Persuasion (activating Emissary of Peace as well): 18
Athletics: 27
Additionally, Althus will also begin throwing out Commands to flee (starting from second level and continuing until all slots are expended except for one second level) at the closest and/or most aggressive townsfolk.
Yeah I just reread things and saw how the teleportation happened, whoops we are a bunch of doofuses!
Can Dog cast silent image and make a spitting image of Genny with bubble hair, and Nev, and the group, appear on a nearby rooftop? He's trying to get the attention off them to be able to make a getaway, but the spell says it can create the image of a creature, but if they are static, would he be able to make more than one? He's keeping hold of the dust of disappearance and trying to see if he can pull this potential crazy scheme off.
1. silent image of Genny and Nev and perhaps more on the rooftop, no sound. 2. dust of disappearance on Genny, Nev, Dog, and any of the party he can get with the one dose 3. prestidigitation to great a shower of sparks from where the invisible party really is toward where the silent image is on the roof 4. boots of flying to take Dog, Genny, Nev, and anyone else who he can grab onto vertical 30 feet in the air and slowly to the side, looking for a quieter place to settle down 5. apologize to the horses and party members left behind

Althus causes two onlookers to flee and several more to cease pushing.

Lots of possible points of failure in this plan, so deception rolls and probably athletics or Dexterity rolls will be involved
Unless Gash tries something with a spell or the helm again, or Tock has another brilliant idea, Dog's going to do that so let me know what you need from me and feel free to roll for me to keep things going.
Seems like we're completely stuck if we don't do something drastic, and the dust should make everyone invisible, and if the crowd sees Genny etc elsewhere, they might dissipate enough to let us get away.
Tock walks out from behind a horse after a few seconds of preparation - disguise self to make himself look look like a GORGEOUS maiden age Gentoa and Invoke Duplicity to have another one walk out from the other side.
They (attempt to) part the crowd with hand motions and walk towards the sun, pointing at it as well.
He trusts the others to take a chance to disappear if and when the crowd is distracted.

Tock finds they are beyond persuasion or distraction. The crowd has an almost manic quality to it that feels as if it is going to erupt into...violence? panic?...something.

I will wait until morning (for me) to see if anyone else has an idea. Looking at what Neventi has available: she can cast Suggestion on one person (a watchperson?) and Charm Person (the same?) but the crowd is very much out of control now, so it really will take strength or agility to escape it.

OK, Tock then pulls out his wand of wonder and starts shooting off charges aiming diagonally away, about 15 feet above the crowd nearby. He's going to try to do it as stealthily as possible.

Chaos erupts as Tock leaves their escape to the fates. A stream of gems arcs over the crowd, clinking and clattering on the ground. A small portion of the 50+ onlookers scramble to fill their pockets. But they have barely a chance to reach for the gems when suddenly an intense, pulsing array of colors flashes over the the crowd. 55% of the crowd is instantly blinded by the spell. The rest shield their eyes or are looking away when the flash occurs. (Everyone else roll a CON(15) check, blinded on a failure.)
People cry out as their vision swims with colors until the darkness hits. Then silence falls over the crowd. It is as if the darkest night has arrived instantly. Only a handful of people left can see at all now. Tock has inadvertently taken away the one thing people were clamoring for: To get a glimpse of the aasimar child. But the crowd does not instantly disperse. Mothers call out for children and young men scramble to get out of the bubble of darkness. A fight erupts close to the horses (still calm, thanks to Martin's presence). People stumble around in every direction, some of them towards the party and others away. Yet others stay perfectly still.
Unbeknownst to anyone, Tock makes one of the 40 gems he just created disappear into the Ethereal Plane.

Just very mixed luck on how things played out. It made things interesting!
Maybe? Depends on how much weight he has left on his encumbrance.
Gash didn't really specify. In fact, his act was very casual, picking up dirt as he walked through the city. Oops!

When the paladin tries to push his way through the crowd, however, they resist with such force that he is pushed to the ground. (Althus is prone.)

Can the horses try to push through?

They can try but the risk will be to the crowd, of course.

Oh, and Neventi has Wings of Flying and she can definitely carry Gentoa.

First charge: 26, OH SHIT.. 20 gems
Second charge: 46, OH WOW
Tock saving throw 7
And then blindly another two charges.
Third charge: 79
Fourth charge: 49
Good luck, MD! :D

How long are we blinded for? Dog will stay close to Nev and Genny with a hand on each.
&$@&!$!!
(You get to reroll your save every round. Since we aren't really in combat rounds, it will be roughly that. So at least 6 seconds of blindness.)
In fact...! Everyone can roll 10 saves to see how many they fail before their first success. This will tell you how long you are blind.
Martin makes a break for it with the horses.
