If they still don't let up. I'm casting Flaming Sphere in the sky 30ft up 30ft back, trying to distract everyone. As secretively as possible. Once we get through the crowd, I'll drop the spell.
Well in that case Dog resists on the second round (after failing just the first time). He opens his eyes and does the silent image on the rooftop. Where are we at this point in time, and how many of us can he make invisible with the dust?
Neventi and Gentoa are blinded for at least 6 seconds (I will roll more as needed). Only the pony is blinded (!!) Martin, Althus, Bulwark, and Gash were not blinded Dog was blinded for 6 seconds then recovered. Tock was blinded for 12 seconds and then recovered. Tock blinded all but 3 people in the crowd around them. - 17 recover in 6 seconds. - 12 recover in 12 seconds. - 11 recover in 18 seconds. - the rest recover in 24 seconds.

Martin, the horses, and Bulwark all manage to push their way through the blinded crowd. One person is unfortunately shoved by Martin, falling on their back and getting stepped on by a mule. Otherwise, the horses, Martin, Bulwark, Neventi, and Gentoa all have escaped the crowd and the chaos, finding daylight eventually at the edge of the bubble of darkness.

Everyone within a 10 foot radius, which includes (now) Gash, Althus, Dog, Tock, and about 40 bystanders. Martin, Bulwark, the horses, and Gentoa and her mother have pushed out 15 feet when Dog's vision returns. Also, Dog cannot see the rooftop anymore due to Darkness
Chaos erupts as Tock leaves their escape to the fates. A stream of gems arcs over the crowd, clinking and clattering on the ground. A small portion of the 50+ onlookers scramble to fill their pockets. But they have barely a chance to reach for the gems when suddenly an intense, pulsing array of colors flashes over the the crowd. 94% of the crowd is instantly blinded by the spell. The rest shield their eyes or are looking away when the flash occurs. (Everyone else roll a CON(15) check, blinded on a failure.)
People cry out as their vision swims with colors until the darkness hits. Then silence falls over the crowd. It is as if the darkest night has arrived instantly. Only a handful of people left can see at all now. Tock has inadvertently taken away the one thing people were clamoring for: To get a glimpse of the aasimar child. But the crowd does not instantly disperse. Mothers call out for children and young men scramble to get out of the bubble of darkness. A fight erupts close to the horses (still calm, thanks to Martin's presence). People stumble around in every direction, some of them towards the party and others away. Yet others stay perfectly still.
Unbeknownst to anyone, Tock makes one of the 40 gems he just created disappear into the Ethereal Plane.
I could have been more direct, I suppose, about what exactly happened.
Dog tries to pull any party members still left behind out of the darkness and behind the phalanx of Bulwark, Martin, horses, and the girls away from the chaos. Can we get out of there?

Tock manages to blindly weave his way out of the crowd. Althus pushes his way out successfully as well. Gash, on the other hand, tries to weave through the crowd but finds himself trampled by a couple of people who have fallen into fisticuffs. He takes a blow to the head for 4 damage and is knocked prone.
