A cessation of all hostilities against each other.
No representative of the Heavens or the Hells shall knowingly influence the Mother, the Child, or the Protectors, no matter their course of action.
If, after 1 mortal year, the child has not secured Stewardship, the Adjudicator may appoint one representative from each party to intervene with a formal offer to the Mother.
The Mother and the Protectors will maintain discretion in performing their duties as mother and protectors.
In the event that the Heavens willfully or accidentally influence the Mother, the Protectors, or the Child, as determined by the adjudicator, they have agreed to release the following prisoners (list of 187 demons and devils.)
In the event that the Heavens willfully or accidentally influence the Mother, the Protectors, or the Child, as determined by the adjudicator, they have agreed to forgo all contact with the mortal realm for 18 mortal years.
The single exception to the above is that these Accords can be communicated to the Mother, the Child, or the Protectors without penalty, as long as they are communicated in such a fashion as to state the contents of the Accords without bias.
Two copies of the Accords, each containing both the Celestial and Infernal translations of the document, will be publicly displaying in the Heavenic realm of Music and Poetry and the Hellic realm of Darkness. No copy of the final draft of the Accords will be kept in the Mortal realm once the Accords are formally implemented.
These Accords shall begin when the Mother and the Child are reunited and not before that time.
These Accords shall end once the Child is accepted by a Steward, which has knowingly agreed to raise the child, has the ability to protect the child, and has been deemed a worthy steward by the Adjudicator. Aucasia of Vallas and King Haddian of Alciondria are both examples of possible stewards.
Upon the conclusion of the Accords, both parties agree to the chosen Steward to which the child is Ultimately entrusted in perpetuity. No further action will be taken to claim the Child, transfer her to a new Steward, or challenge the final ruling of the Adjudicator once the Accords have concluded.
(And the sixth bullet, it's supposed to be Hells not Heavens, right? We have no way of knowing how narrowly or broadly the heavens or the hells are defined?)
(Right. That was a copy/paste which preserved my earlier error. And the heavens and hells are clearly defined as the gods and their agents (devils, Deva, etc.). Humans are only included if they have been directed by one of the gods or their agents and, in some circumstances, if they know of the Accords and are acting in the best interest of their god independently.)
Martin will pull Gash along towards the temple of Torm
??
Is that not what we were doing? Gash is charmed and tied up, we want to get him somewhere consecrated to get him fixed and arm up before chasing down the vampire?
edit: nope, never mind! I somehow missed an entire page of posts, wtf...
The cleric at the temple of Torm is taken aback. "A vampire, here?"
He is happy to sell holy water and gets into an involved discussion about consecrated arrows. "It is an involved processes," he says. "But we are able to make an Arrow of Slaying that is especially effective against the undead."

The cleric sends a young acolyte off to check their stores for any such ammunition. When the boy returns, he reports they have no arrows or bolts at all in storage. "Hmm..." the cleric says. "I can ask Father Buldus if he can make a special batch of arrows. It...won't be cheap. A batch of 20 arrows is the minimum he would even consider creating and it will cost...6000 gold. That amount includes a sizable donation to the temple, mind you."
Dog is somewhat flabbergasted that the temple is trying to upcharge (through donations) the people who want to get rid of a VAMPIRE in the town in which the temple is trying to represent ostensibly good gods. He doesn't care about the arrows as much as he fact they aren't pulling out all the stops to help.
Father Buldus holds up his hands. "We can go the usual route to put an order in for such things," he says. "It will cost 5900 gold and we will have them ready for you in two days. But I will have to wake up the the Archpriest to have them ready by tomorrow morning at the earliest. We are a charitable organization but we cannot afford to fund bounties the way the city can."
“Well... sounds like we’re left with holy water then. Can you help with that, Father Buldus?” Martin is pretty matter of fact about this, having been involved in an altruistic, but not cheap, business himself for many years.
(OOC: Bulwark is fine with staying to protect Nev and Genny if that's what Dog and Tock need, though he's been visibly antsy ever since the news of Gash's capture.)
"Enquiry: If an undead creature as powerful as a vampire lurks within your settlement, why does a seemingly militant religious organisation such as yourselves not endeavor to slay it? Is it that you are not powerful enough? What would you do if we decided to leave immediately? Allow the creature to remain, going about its whims?"
Bulwark is annoyed that they appear so nonchalant about a threat that his party member is involved in.
"Slay a vampire?" the cleric says, beginning to look a little annoyed. "We have nowhere near the experienced fighters to do that. Nor do we have any idea of your abilities to accomplish the task. We could not afford to front an expedition to slay a vampire with an unproven group such as yourselves. If you left, we would be in the same position we were an hour ago, except now we know of a possible vampire. We would naturally report it to the city watch and they would issue a bounty."
"Can I get some more tea? Or maybe some food? What time is it? Do you have like... I dont know a deck of cards or something, do you want to play dragonchess? I'm getting bored. They could take forever to get here. I don't even want to see them anymore anyway. I can't believe they did that to me. Can you Garielle? Hello?"

Gash- Lvl14 Goblin Wizard - The High Court of the Aasimar Queen
"Can you, at the very least, place these two," and he gestures to Nev and Genny, "who are the targets of this vampire, in a secure, comfortable place on your consecrated grounds? Don't let in anyone looking like [Dog describes what Althus said the vampire looked like], don't even look at them, or they'll charm you too. If you have anyone who can cast helpful spells on a group off to fight the undead, we'd welcome them. We can't afford to pay anything else." Dog offers up 50 gold for two more bottles of holy water. "Anyone know how this stuff works?"
He'll ritually cast alarm on whatever room Nev and Genny stay in, and suggest that they wait for dawn. "Vampires don't like the sun, right? We could knock holes in that house at sunrise. It might be helpful for the spellcasters to get a full rest so they can prepare to fight a vampire. Bulwark, thanks for the offer, but I'm hoping Nev and Genny are safe here. We'll need all the help we can get. If there's a way to make it so we can't see the vampire, then maybe we can't be turned or charmed or whatever happened to Gash. Or maybe we just don't accept the offer of tea. Tock, your idea of pretending to be Nev might work. Any other thoughts? Or we could go take out the constructs if we want to pass the time during the night, waiting for dawn."
OOC: Dog is fine with going asap if that's what the group wants, but he suggested going at sunrise for a few reasons, hoping it frustrates the vampire, throws her off, and gives the party a bit of a boost. Not joking about taking out the constructs first -- maybe we get a bounty and can afford the stuff at the temple! Also might as well use the remaining spell slots to take out something the Hells have set up as a trap, and perhaps there's some kind of clue there about what the vampire's there to do.
"Of course," the cleric says. "We will absolutely provide sanctuary to anyone under such threat."
The cleric is at first concerned about casting spells in the temple, but when he verifies the spell Dog lays down, he is satisfied. As the party leaves the temple, night has blanketed the city. No stars shine through the thick grey clouds. A light drizzle begins to fall on the five adventurers as they decide their next move.
Gash:
Garielle eventually joins the patient goblin. She has changed into a new form-fitting dress. A snifter of brandy dangles in her hand. "Well, my little goblin friend," she says with an airy detachment, "it seems your comrades are smarter than I expected. They have not come charging to your rescue as I thought they would. That means they are planning. Preparing. It will do them no good."
The vampire slides forward on her seat, setting her brandy on a side table in one fluid motion. A manicured finger traces down Gash's chest. "But it may have changed your fate. I have not accepted a vampire spawn under this roof for many years. I will think on it, little goblin. Tomorrow may be the beginning of a whole new life for you."
She gives a wicked smile, then stands, retrieving her brandy as she does so. With a fluid turn, she strides out of the library. "I am going out. Someone will bring you food and drink. If you grow tired, they shall prepare you a bed," she says as she leaves. Her fine shoes echo down the hallway as she recedes into the dark depths of the house.
Indeed, 20 minutes later, a hooded figure enters with a tray of bread, cheese, and meats. Wine and water are provided as well. The entire time, the hooded figure glares at Gash with jealousy painted on his face. He says nothing, departing as abruptly as he arrived.
(Is the temple not okay with letting the party either stay the night inside, or decide their next move inside? Dog doesn't know how consecration works but he thinks it's probably good to stay safe when possible, however it works.)

Martin thinks about how nice it would’ve been to just take Gash to the Temple of Torm to be restored, but alas... ‘‘tis not to be.
Martin instead heads to the temple in order to see about consecrating his arrows against the unholy quality of vampires.

"Certainly," he says. "We sell holy water for 25 gold."
Martin empties out his coin pouch on a table and gives a sort of wry grin. “Ah. Perhaps not then, I’m a bit short... anything else folks?”
Paladin - warforged - orange
Tock emtpies his pouch on the table as well, 101 gold total in various coins.
"In theory, could the holy water be applied to a projectile, like a crossbow bolt? So that it still retains the holiness?"
