I said he'd help try to convince the temple to let them stay the night and sort out the next move -- could have been a bit clearer, but that was the intention! Apologies again, not able to post as frequently, but I haven't missed any big plot developments I don't think...
Dog's face becomes very confused when Martin mentions torture games, and his brow furrows when Martin suggests a vampire's house will be less guarded at night.
Still, he can see the direction the group's heading, and he does want to get his friend back. He becomes gruff. "Fine. If you think we're up for this now. Lead the way."
He lefts his warhammer on his shoulder.
(If the group gets moving and the action outruns my ability to weigh in for Dog, he'll try to keep his eyes averted from new people they encounter, and cast protection from evil and good the second it seems like they're getting into something weird. He'll definitely cast it before they try to enter the house, should things get there.)
It is a little before midnight when the five adventurers arrive at the address again. It seems especially dark here in this part of the neighborhood, as if the house itself is sucking the light from the world. Dog casts his protection from evil and good spell as they near the house...
Gash:
Friend says, "They are here..." There is nobody around to tell, though.
Garielle eventually joins the patient goblin. She has changed into a new form-fitting dress. A snifter of brandy dangles in her hand. "Well, my little goblin friend," she says with an airy detachment, "it seems your comrades are smarter than I expected. They have not come charging to your rescue as I thought they would. That means they are planning. Preparing. It will do them no good."
The vampire slides forward on her seat, setting her brandy on a side table in one fluid motion. A manicured finger traces down Gash's chest. "But it may have changed your fate. I have not accepted a vampire spawn under this roof for many years. I will think on it, little goblin. Tomorrow may be the beginning of a whole new life for you."
She gives a wicked smile, then stands, retrieving her brandy as she does so. With a fluid turn, she strides out of the library. "I am going out. Someone will bring you food and drink. If you grow tired, they shall prepare you a bed," she says as she leaves. Her fine shoes echo down the hallway as she recedes into the dark depths of the house.
Indeed, 20 minutes later, a hooded figure enters with a tray of bread, cheese, and meats. Wine and water are provided as well. The entire time, the hooded figure glares at Gash with jealousy painted on his face. He says nothing, departing as abruptly as he arrived.
"Wow, you would do that? For me? Will it help my magics? Oh okay Miss Garielle... whomever you're meeting is in for a treat you look... gorgeous." Then when the man brings the food.
"Do you want some cheese? I'm not great with dairy. How about a game? Why don't you grab some wine as well."

(Just confirming that Tock looks and sounds like Neventi?)
Dog looks to Martin and gestures with a "go ahead" hand movement. (He has relayed the information about the door not being magical to the rest of the team when they discussed leaving the house.)
(Yes, Tock is a slightly short version of Neventi right now.)
This part of town is clearly posh. Arriving at the address, they find all of the houses on this block are large manors and many of them with extravagant features, such as mock towers or ornamental gargoyles. The target address has such a tower, though lacks any ornaments. It is three stories at its highest point. All of its shutters are closed and no smoke flows from the chimney.
Gash:
"All right, all right," says the gruff voice of the robed man who has been attending to Gash. He clomps into the library impatiently. "If they are here then we will deal with them. Follow me."
The robed man leads Gash down the hall back towards the entrance. "Take stock of your...spells...wizard goblin. Your former friends have come to do harm to Madame Garielle. It is up to us to defend her and her place. Stand here."
The robed man indicates around the corner from the entrance door. Gash dutifully stands there. "Stop them. Hurt them," he says to Gash. "Do not talk to them. Use your magic. When that runs out, use your fists. These are the enemies or Garielle and we shall stop them."
Gash sets his Brazier down and begins to summon a Fire Elemental. He will then re-gag his mouth. And if there is any time after that. Gash will then cast Mirror Image right when they enter the house
Dog quickly holds his fist ready to knock on the door with a look at Tock's new disguise and then Martin and Althus and Bulwark. He used prestidigitation to make a bauble that looks like Gash's head, and then makes a soft, gentle patting hand gesture as if to say "be gentle, take it easy on the goblin."
Friend contacts Gash again via his thoughts. "They are sneaking around the back now."
Martin, Althus, Dog, Tock, and Bulwark:
The party works their way through overgrown thorn bushes and unpruned trees to the back yard. Here they find a large covered patio with a door leading inside. A lack of illumination provides some cover here but it is also difficult to see.

(Uh, Dog didn't even ask that, as far as I can tell.)
“Dog, I’m not sure it’s a good idea to wait on a vampire to get bored and play torture games with Gash. We should get moving.”

Althus nods, agreeing with Martin, "We shouldn't delay. Their guard will be at the lowest when it is night. We may be able to surprise them."

"Althus, you know where it's at. Lead the way."
Martin bounces on the balls of his feet a few times, readying himself for a 'hell' of a fight.

Tock says, "Let me know when we are getting close, I will turn myself into Neventi."
(OOC: Did we buy like 5 units of holy water? We were pooling our money, but I'm not sure if we actually verbalized the transaction)
He will disguise self as Neventi once they are close, but make no other preparations.
(I only saw two for sure? But I think I saw enough for 6 flasks talked about.)
