Martin looks at the assassin. “Keep that up, and we’ll end up hanging you.” Martin goes to tighten up the bonds then turns to the others. “He’s trying to get out of his ropes.”
"I've never met a kenku before," the drow says. "I usually despise filthy surface dwellers but I feel like you would really be at home where I'm from. There were six of us. Dvarik, Gar, Jenka, Denda, Brotus, and me. The girl and her mother were to be left alone. Everyone else was to die. A shame, really. I like you."

Tock is super hurt (3 health) and drags himself inside as well. He slumps down on the floor and just breathes a while.
"Oh, one is alive still? He's SUPER securely tied up, right?"
"Should we take a short rest before questioning him? I don't want to wait until the morning, but I'm also way too hurt to think straight right now."

The assassin stops resisting and smiles at Tock.
Althus smiles and pats the assassin on the head, "I'm sure we'll be able to talk things through. After all, he's pretty defenseless here."
Dog has been feeling a bit guilty about not getting hurt during the fight, despite trying to draw attacks, so he's been a bit quiet.
"Tock, perhaps our new friend would like to tell us what brought them here and how we might help each other out?"
Tock smiles back and says, "Hey man, sorry about the whole misunderstanding. But you understand why it was all needed, don't you?"
"The thing is - we don't want anyone else to get hurt. That would be a really bad outcome, don't you agree?"
