Thademar, with a look of pity and grief on his face and voice says a quick prayer of peace for the after life for Doru. He touches his holy symbol to his hammer and casts Guiding Bolt as he moves in sight of Doru.

Urgog goes into a ready stance as he advances towards the monster. He pauses and looks close at it before proceeding. "Will taking its head be enough? "

Sees the attack by Thademar and shurgs before leaping forward and slashing first with the silvered short sword them the scimitar.

"I'd like to make this as swift and clean as possible. Decapitation would surely cause a mess down here."

Ismark witnessing that these two are rushing for the kill right out the gate, he draws his heavy crossbow and begins to load it with a bolt as he darts twenty feet to the left. He takes aim and fires the bolt at Doru.

Nixus moves forward enough to have Doru in his vision and quickly draws his wand and fires off a shimmering purple bolt towards the monster, casting Eldritch Blast

In unison, Thademar, Urgog, and Ismark begin to make their movements. Thademar moved ten feet to the north in order to cast Guiding Bolt. Although he miscalculated the distance, the bolts slam into the basement walls instead. Urgog charges at Doru as he maneuvers around the columns. With his long reach, he's able to unleash a furious assault upon Doru as Ismark had kept his distance and shot a bolt into Doru's chest. The moment he got shot by the bolt and hit by Urgog's off-hand attack, an Eldritch Blast soars through the basement and blasts Doru with massive impact. The force from the blast drives him into the column, taking an additional 1 bludgeoning damage.

Meanwhile, Donavich remains kneeling before the altar in the church, mumbling a prayer to the Morninglord as Ireena and Winter keep watch over him. Donavich is shedding tears as he listens to what's transpiring beneath him, knowing he's about to have his son lost forever

Doru is restrained as he's still chained to the column. Urgog's outside of Doru's reach so Doru cannot do anything.

Ismark reloads his heavy crossbow with another bolt, and will take aim upon Doru. "I'm sorry Doru, this is for the best." Ismark calls out to him empathically.

"Let us end this quickly. No fooling around." Nixus once again chants the few words needed for Eldritch Blast and flings another purple beam towards the restrained Doru.

Thademar moves up to Urgog and casts another Guiding Bolt.

Urgog growls at the vampire and swings again with each weapon.

Winter sighs and follows the rest of the party into the undercroft.  He stops at the foot of the stairs and looks at Doru with horror and disgust.

Winter readies a Fire bolt in case Doru gets loose.

"Maybe you guys shouldn't get that close to it?  We can kill it from afar if needed."

Urgog unleashes another ferocious assault onto Doru as Ismark pelts him with a bolt, and Nixus launches an Eldritch Blast Thademar moved up beside Urgog in order to cast Guiding Bolt, which blasts him harshly. Winter realizes that maybe the group needs his assistance, and expends thirty feet of movement to walk toward the trapdoor that leads to the basement.

Donavich continues praying to the Morninglord while Ireena watches over him.

Doru screams in pain as the adventurers are striking him down. Nobody is within reach so he cannot make an attack yet.

Winter will continue walking as far as he can towards the foot of the stairs in the basement with Fire Bolt ready if Duro gets loose.

Thademar casts guiding bolt again, hoping to put the boy out of his misery.

Trying to not waste all his spells Thademar casts sacred flame upon Doru.

Baelar turns his head away briefly, trying to avert his eyes from the spectacle unfolding before him. He sighs and glares towards Doru once again. Casting Sacred Flame

Thademar unleashes a volley of radiant bolts onto Doru while Ismark fires a crossbow bolt into Doru's chest, impaling his heart as the wooden shaft pierces through. Doru shrieks as he gets pummeled by Urgog's shortsword. The radiant flame descending down upon Doru to scorch his body sheds a light that distracts Urgog that results in his second attack missing. Winter moves into the basement after squeezing past Nixus to get to the bottom of the steps.

Donavich continues reciting prayers to the Morninglord all while balling his eyes out as he hears what's being done to his soon. Ireena tries to comfort him by resting her hand on his shoulder.

Doru continues to scream in agony as he endures all the punishment that's being dealt to him. Nobody has entered his reach so he cannot retaliate.
