"A vault? Yes that makes sense. What? I don't know. It happened rather quickly I don't know his accent. It seemed like he just wanted the dragon head. He didn't take any of the stuff that you just left sitting on it. I didn't either, but very irresponsible to just leave stuff around. Now, what kind of stuff did you find?"
Kost nods at Az and then to Dirk: "Th- there's no need for any butt-sniffing..."

"Ah, yes, alright." He takes the tube and necklace and takes some time to look them over. "This metal tube will open any door or lock you point it at and ring it with this attached metal stick. Limited use, but still. Neat. Useful. Let me see about this necklace." He takes some more time. His eyes widen after he finishes the ritual. He looks at all of you. "There's a fireball in each one of these. Fascinating. Throwing more together makes it more powerful, but only 9 charges, not rechargeable. I like it." He hands both items back. "If you are willing to trade, I have a ring of protection or scroll of Darkness and a healing potion I'd be willing to part with."
Dusty weighs in. "Our ever-nude master of fists could use fortification. The chime for the ring seems appropriate." Looks expectantly to the rest of the party.
"I second the ring of protection, probably more useful than the instant door knocker. We can just bash down doors if we need to get to the other side."
Kost scratches his head. "Eh... I have more use for the ring than the chime. Maybe if you threw in something else with it? Some gold, another item, I don't know..."

"I've got nothing else to do with this. Kost if you learn anything of starlight or if he visits you again send word to phandolin they'll get us the message and I'll make it worth your while." I walk back to the front area of the well snd keep look out while waiting for the rest of the party.
Fjolnir leans in- "Fella, there is two piles of ghost mess, a couple spider corpses that blink in an out of existence, a huge pile of ghoul and ghast remains, and some levers that disabled all the traps that we so conveniently threw on our way back up. If we have to throw in some gold for that trade, i'll hop my hairy arse back down there and flip them back on. Or, maybe there's an easy path down there to get ye to playing with dead things quicker. Just trade with the big guy, would ya? I'll throw in a free, tell-the-locals-you're-an-archaeologist-and-not-a-necromancer?"
Kost thinks. "Ah, oh, um... *sigh* Alright, that sounds reasonable." He goes into his tent and opens an ornate box to pull the ring out. He returns and hands the ring to Absinthe and takes the chime.
(OK, I'm going to clean out the party loot. Give me some time and I'll have an amount of money for each of you to add to your sheets. Absinthe needs to add the Ring of Protection and Az Emberi needs to add the Necklace of Fireballs, I don't think anyone else laid claim to it. Reminder: there is still an idol that will cast Augery that a few of you haven't used. It's worth 100 gp but I'm waiting for the last of you to use it first.)
You Each receive: 864 cp, 382 sp, 152 gp. You may break it down however you'd like. If you convert it to mostly gold, you'd get 4 cp, 8 sp, and 198 gp. There is also a potion that you hadn't identified yet, but we'll say with all of your downtime you've had since you found it, you've figured it out. It is a Potion of Diminution

Kost goes back to working on his zombies and you take your new ring of protection and newly identified necklace of fireballs West to Phandalin.
You get another few miles and set up camp once it starts to get dark. 1941211
Dirk:
During your watch, you hear something coming from the East. It sounds heavy. It's close, you notice Az Emberi wake up from it but it hasn't entered your darkvision range yet. You have one round of actions.
Az Emberi:
You wake up from loud footsteps coming from the East. You look but can't see anything yet. You're prone, you have one round of actions, only you and Dirk are awake.

As everyone is waking up from Dirk's bagpipes, an owlbear lumbers into your camp from the East and gets right up to Hymir and Dirk. It roars loudly in its hybrid bear/owl screech.
25: Hymir (prone) 22: Fjolnir (prone) 22: Absinthe (prone) 15: Dirk 14: Az Emberi (What are you hiding behind? It's a really good roll but the hood doesn't make you invisible, normal stealth rules still apply) 12: Owlbear 9: Dustfinger (prone)
Az Emberi takes two exagerated sniffs at the necromancer. "He's telling the truth."
Are you surely sure though? Maybe sniff his butt to know him better?

Dirk doesn't care, it doesn't concern him in the slightest, as can be seen by is attention focused on a pink stain on his gear.

I start playing the bagpipes as loud as I can. Slowly at first but ending in a complicated tune with quickly shifting notes.... to wake everyone up.
