You are in the city of Neverwinter, where a dwarf named Gundren Rockseeker asked you to bring a wagon-load of provisions to the rough-and-tumble settlement of Phandalin, a couple of days’ travel southeast of the city. Gundren was clearly excited and more than a little secretive about his reasons for the trip, saying only that he and his brothers had found “something big,” and that he’d pay you ten gold pieces each for escorting his supplies safely to Barthen’s Provisions, a trading post in Phandalin. He then set out ahead of you on horse, along with a warrior escort named Sildar Hallwinter, claiming he needed to arrive early to “take care of business.”
So your friend Gundren leaves you there, with 4 of his other friends, tasked with getting his provisions there as a group. You should make sure you've got all you need for the trip. I just mean this is the last chance to go over your equipment, sell off what you don't want/need and buy other things before you have to buy things in game. There are no stores between here and Phandalin.
At this point, describe how your character looks, and perhaps some noticeable mannerisms. Take this time to introduce yourself to Gundren's friends, you're going to be with them for a few days at least.
Maybe talk about how you know Gundren. He's a dwarf miner, entrepreneur and all around nice guy. If you don't reveal this information, perhaps put it in your notes. It's not integral to the story, but it lets you flesh out your character. It doesn't need to be complicated.
Lastly, I need to know your marching order as you make your way South with the wagon. One or two of you need to drive the wagon. The two oxen will not move if no one is at the reigns. Whoever isn't driving can be in the wagon, walking alongside, front back, scouting ahead, etc.
Once everyone has had a chance to post, I'll move the story along. If some good RP is happening on the wagon ride, however, I might let it go until it dies down.

I am Az Emberi. ( 6 foot lean. Young looks about 25. Long nose. Sharp pronounced canine teeth. Green gold eyes with a large pupil to iris ratio. Ears pointed almost like elf ears but not quite. Hairy face disheeavled hair.)
"Mornin fellers." The Dwarf cocks his head to the side before he spits in an awkward attempt to be polite. "Fjolnir." He smiled as he wiped the bare chin of the peppered traders' beard. "Unless anyone else has a preference, i'd like to sit aside whoever's gonna be skinnin-the-mule." A little over 5', the dwarf stretches and leans an unstrung bow forward to knock on the passenger board. "Maybe get a shot off on a rabbit outside of town- hardtack and travel rations tastes..." He sniffs one before tucking it back into his pack "...cooold shit."
Fjolnir scratches his overgrown high-and-tight hair. "To be honest I've met him before but I can't recall where. I used to run goods like this on skiffs and barges down the Dessarin during the wet months." He stares into the distance as he shoves one last leaf into the pocket of his lip. "mmprfspector, I fink." *chews* "Think I ran two dozen barrels of some kinda unrefined salts... Oh Rockseeker. Yeah. Right in the name, I s'pose."
"The name is Absinthe "Smashface" Stormbrew." (a Goliath standing 6'5" looks to be in the mid 20's, bald with grayish skin and yellow eyes. Dressed in the rags of temple clothing its clear he is a religious follower, but cares not for his own appearance.) "Gundren used to operate a mine camp in the hills just a few miles out from my old home. We passed a few times trading supplies if needed, till one day he offered me some extra work, now here I am."
Greetings I'm known a Hymir, (a tall human 6'2" and 180lbs completely forgettable in appearance in average clothes the only strange thing is in wierd angles it appears that part of his white hair shimmers purple for a second and returns to normal) I have seen Gundren a few times here and there I could always tell what he was looking for before he asked impressed he gives me jobs and (I quickly look at a small mechanical thing on the edge of my pack that isnt moving I then brush it back into my pack and mumble to myself)... anyway he gives me jobs I do them we have a good understanding.
"Yeeeaawn" I stretch just having enjoyed a good solid nap. "Good morning everyone!" I say in an enthusiastic and slightly exaggerated voice. An uncommon way to speak I've adapted into most of my speech. "What a wonderous time to be alive! It'll be good to see Gundren again, never met a prettier dwarf... or a pretty dwarf for that matter." Long curly brown hair and a not so curly mustache, average build.... height but who is counting? You would think me human if it weren't for a few subtle nuances like some minor scaling around the eyes. "Gundren is my biggest, roundest..... richest fan."
I am. Watching the road diligently and occasionally cock my ear listening to the woods on either side of the trail or sniffing the air in an exagerated fasion.

Wonderful investigation.

Coincidence. Hymir notices that:

Az Emberi is about 6' tall and lean. Looks about 25, has a long nose and sharp pronounced canine teeth. His eyes are green gold with a large pupil to iris ratio. His ears are pointed almost like elf ears but not quite. He has a hairy face with disheveled hair.

Dirk Dinston has long curly brown hair and a not so curly mustache, average build and height. You would think him human if it weren't for a few subtle nuances like some minor scaling around the eyes.
