Dirk and Absinthe, after purchasing another warhorse, saddle, and saddlebags, go for a night on the town. Dirk feels a surge of energy as he's getting the crowd hyped up for his performance, then unceremoniously disappears. Just vanishes from sight. The crowd looks confused, but Dirk thinks, 'I can use this,' and tries to continue the show while invisible, but no one can hear him either. He is invisible and inaudible. After the patrons, Absinthe and Dirk are sufficiently confused, and the patrons start to go back to their business, Dirk pops back into view, and Absinthe cheers loudly to get the patrons back on board with the show. Through a night of revelry and debauchery, the amount you're paid for your performance evens to the amount you pay for alcohol, and neither of you ends up paying for your rooms. Among locations you found were the Shining Serpent Inn and the Driftwood Tavern, both rather expensive places but your bill was covered.
Fjolnir spends the rest of the afternoon asking for someone who will work with or trade in dragon parts and finds himself at Shining Knight Arms & Armor in the Core district. The owner wears wizard'sd robes. He says he could not only use dragon parts as payment, but he could also make sets of Dragonscale armor, but it would still be a bit pricey and take quite some time for the enchantments and proper fitting. He says you have about enough for 3 sets with all the scales you have, and will talk payment and time if you're interested.
You are directed to Maskado's Maps & Legends when you mention anything cartographic. It's conveniently near the armory, and the odd character who owns the place has blue skin. When you ask about The Cartophile, Maskado curls his lip in disgust. Apparently the two are competitors, and The Cartophile does much better financially than Maskado. He gives you directions to his mansion but claims he may not be in Neverwinter currently, but he's not sure. Fjolnir meets Az Emberi at a cheap bar in the Beggar's Nest with no sign, and Az picks up the tab for the night's drinking and room for 9 silver.
Dustfinger's search took him to the Arcanist's District, in which he finds 'Allis Lhyssich's Hand Crafted Weapons and Magical Weapons for Noble Causes.' Asking about cloaks, gloves and boots, Allis mentions that he mostly deals in metal, since he is a blacksmith, and has only metal items for sale, mostly standard equipment that has enchantments. However, he does direct you to Calvin's Curios nearby, who has several common magic items, including Boots of False Tracks, Cloak of Billowing, Cloak of Many Fashions, Clothes of Mending, along with other things that aren't necessarily cloaks, boots, or gloves, but still have some minor magical properties. He also carries a number of trinkets that aren't magical but are interesting just the same.
How is everyone replying to this new information, and what are each of you doing in the morning?
3 Wand recharge. 9 I play my lute, on my motha******* horse while reuniting with the group. I seek out Az and follow him. (deducted 400gp for warhorse, 200gp for chainshirt barding, 2 gp bit and bridle, 20gp military saddle, 4gp saddlebags, 100cp 20 days feed and the 5sp that put the horse up for the night. Total weight for the horse without/with me combined then inventory weight separate (feed). 79-239/540lbs + 200lbs feed.
Az Emberi wakes up early. Has breakfast at the inn. Then not knowing Fjolnir is working on getting us sets of dragon armor. He goes to find out likely hood/ cost of enhancing his club and/or armor.
He replies, "Oh, I'm not Calvin. But we don't have anything quite that rare or expensive here, sorry. I hear there's a trade of that sort of thing around town, but It's out of the scope of my business."

Az DOES know that Fjolnir was speaking with someone about Dragonscale armor, and the base cost is 20,000 gp and will take 25 weeks per set. Very rare items, takes a long time to place all the enchantments, otherwise it's just scale mail. Regardless, as far as other magical items, Fjolnir relays that Shining Knight Arms & Armor might have cheaper options that take less time, and Dustfinger notes that Allis Lhyssich's Hand Crafted Weapons and Magical Weapons for Noble Causes has exclusively metal items, so that probably wouldn't be your style.
If you'd like to pursue this option further you may, otherwise, we will move to check out the Cartophile's mansion.

You were given the directions to the Cartophile's mansion, which is in a district with other large houses and upscale residential buildings. As you walk up the street you can't help but feel a little out of place in the obviously rich neighborhood. As you approach the residence that you were told belongs to The Cartophile you see two guards posted outside the gate.
What are you doing?

The guards cross their polearms in front of Absinthe. (there's a gate, too and a wall, not just two guards in front of a house. All the houses here have walls, rich people thing.)
"I don't know what you're trying to do, you can't just walk in. I might go check to see if you're on the list, if you can give me a good reason, and if you keep your giant man on a leash."

Dustfinger lurks the local magic shops, looking for whatever kinds of cloaks, gloves, or boots might be available.

Dustfinger gives up his search for magical items and is ready for the next quest.
Absinthe wakes up and throws back a couple pints to get himself nice and buzzed before starting the day. Then meets up with the rest of the party.

Not feeling out of place at all, totally comfortable in my surroundings.
Rainbow....... Mooo....
Az hollers to the guards on the approach.
" ho there. We've come to speak to a man about a map."
Now Dirk is waiting to see if they holler back
, for he is no holler back girl.Rainbow....... Mooo....
