First Mate E'strue nods grimly, apparently noticing A'ro's victory and Kay's engagement of the last pirate on the poop deck. Having brought the Shore Shark about in a half-circle to face back in the direction from which she'd come, E'strue eases off the wheel, allowing it to swing back to centre which has the almost immediate effect of lessening the sharp angle of the deck. Smiling fiercely as the stoic Druhut moves up to take guard position nearby, the senior officer glances backwards over her shoulder, then checks the state of sails above before shouting,
"Good work, all! Keep at it! I want the last of this scum fixed quick... then we'll see about dealin' with that bucket of chowder-squirt in our wake! I want those ballistae and the catapult ready to fire on my command!"
You all begin to hear the off-duty crew below yelling "Pirates!" and "We've been boarded!", as well as the *thumping* of feet-on-deck coming from the Captain and officer's quarters aft and fore. Pausing in her sail work, perched up high in the mizzenmast, Freya calls down to A'ro,
"Master of Sail... that ship back there has cleared its bay and looks to be givin' chase! She gained on us durin' the Shark's about turn and I'm seein' a lot of movement on her forecastle!"
At the opposite end of the ship, Argrin shouts that he's going for munitions while the slightly less composed Fillian calls down,
"Ahh... sir... Mr. Navigator, sir! The dog that you sent into the sea has somehow grabbed ahold of us and is climbin' back aboard!"

"I'm getting too old for this," Ferris mumbled as he sucks in deep breaths, slowing his pace. He wanted to push himself but a half-assed job is better than none. He continued to prioritize his tasks however, and called out to others if there was just nothing he could do to physically get to a task.
Despite your fatigue, the worsening conditions and the stress of the battle taking place below, you manage to steady yourself and keep the mainmast sails sufficiently full, despite having to moderate your efforts and slow your pace. Hearing Kay and Fillian's shouts, you glance about but are unable to make out the pursuing ship through the rainy darkness. However, you do notice the Ship's Mage finally free disentangle himself below and are just able to spot a determined green form scaling the starboard bow of the ship. Not seeing a ladder of any kind, you can only guess at how the boarder is managing the feat of climbing a moving ship's hull at night in the rain unaided.

K1: Attack: 18 lightning Damage: 17
K2: Attack: 10 lightning Damage: 8
A'ro's first orb of lightning hits Kay's opponent square on and surrounds the motley raider in a blinding nimbus of light even as arcs of arcane energy scorch the entirety of the pirate's body. Turning away from the falling husk, the genasi prepares to summon and launch a second orb towards the only other visible pirate, but sees that pirate falling dead from a letahl blow struck by the nearby Dekket. The Master of Sail hears a *roar* and notices a large, feline shape bound up the steps and onto the foredeck, growling in anger as it sees no visible enemies to rend with it claws and fangs.
[OOC] RND5: Kestrell's first orb HITS K1, dealing 17 points of lightning damage. K1 is dead. K4 died at the end of RND4 and as no other pirate is visible to A'ro, he wouldn't have cast his chromatic orb at 2nd level so I've adjusted your character sheet to replace it with a 1st level slot.
Botted Tiger-Vaken's turn for RND5, using movement to get to D16 and ready action to attack the first enemy he sees climb aboard.

About to execute a series of slashing, stabbing attacks against her foe, Kay is momentarily blinded as the green-skinned pirate is struck and burned to death by the now familiar lightning magics of the Shark's Master of Sail. Pivoting in place, the tensed sail monkey notices no other living enemies aboard. The young sailor's attention is grabbed by the nearby First Mate who shouts,
"Good work, Kay. Now I need ye to get crossbows to our crew topside... and then stand ready to work the sails or shoot pirate scum as needed. We're almost done playin' chase with these curs. They'll be feelin' the weight of Ships Justice soon enough, I promise ye!"
[OOC] Seeing as both visible opponents are dead and the lone living pirate in the advance party is about to climb up to a hot reception party, Kay's attacks can't go off and things are already crowded on the foredeck, so to keep the encounter moving I'll adlib and say her action would be better used moving to get crossbows which she can distribute to Freya and Fillian, as well as getting to the base of the mainmast (E11).
FYI - I know the images are hard to discern at that size, but the boarders were the green ones (on white square) with the small pitchforks (the last one's at C16 climbing the outside of the ship). Kay's token is the same one we've used the whole time, the woman with the green hood up (pictured above at E6).

WOAH!!! Where in Moradin's Hall did that CAT come from?!?"
His round body heaving with the effort, Argrin manages to get a large catapult stone loaded into the bucket with a final *grunt* of exertion. The red-bearded dwarf's eyes go comically round and his mouth falls open in genuine shock as a large tiger with blood-soaked paws and jaws pounces up the steps nearby, it's saucer like eyes raking the area as it's stripped tail *swishes* back and forth in clear agitation.
Dekket beside you and a tiger now seeming guarding your back, you lean over the staboard rail and instantly spot the pirate attempting to climb back aboard. You shout down at him but his only response is to continue climbing determinably towards the deck above.

With a chorus of shouting that is part battle cry and part enquiry as to what the hell is going on, the rest of the Shore Shark's crew boils out from within the ship up onto the open decks. While your shipmate's appearances are disheveled, you note their drawn weapons, their eager stares, and have no doubts as to their state of readiness for whatever challenge might lie ahead.
Those who are tasked for it head topside, scaling masts and jacobs ladders to join their comrades already at station, while below gunners move to take positions at the ballistas and catapult. Without needing to be told, a couple of deckhands see to gently stowing away the bodies of your fallen before uncerimoniously tossing the dead pirates back into the sea. Any sailor who does not appear needed at a particular station simply stands at the ready - weapon in hand, eyes facing outwards and ears tuned in for orders from the ship's officers.
Having emerged before the rest of the crew, the ship's other officers run to a position from where they can assess the situation better. Bosun Drannick quickly rushes forward, near the prow and bowsprit, while Captain Aundrey and Weapons Master Unne rush to the poop deck, the later taking the First Mate's position at the helm while the Captain calls out,
"Alright, what do we have here? I mean, it seems like an attack, obviously, but from where and who. And, ahh, what's the status of my ship?"
The First Mate provides the Captain with a quick rundown, while the rest of the crew quickly move to assist those who were on duty during the initial attack.
[OOC] RND5: Any PC with a passive insight of 12 or more may read the below spoiler:
As the First Mate gives the Captain a summary of the attack so far, it's obvious from Aundrey's darting gaze and somewhat uncertain tone that he has been caught off guard and was perhaps not expecting to be thrust into a situation like this quite so soon. As E'strue finishes her recount and asks for the Captain's orders, Unne also looks over expectantly. As more and more crew with a line of sight to the Captain look over for his response, you can't help but note the young man's pale complexion and his lingering silence.

Having finally freed himself from the net, Virtoris steps nearer the portside rail and begins giving orders in concert with the diminutive Quarter Master, both men doing their best to organise the crew on the main deck as the other ships officers commandeer the upper aft and fore decks. The portside rail quickly fills out as Genzi brings forth a ballista bolt to load in concert with Enzio, while the cloaked form of the cloaked, dusky-skinned half-elf Sholt and heavily muscled, leather clad half-orc Yunst both step to the rail with longbows drawn, arrows notched. The helmed form of the half-elven senior sailor Balinor stands upon the portside poop deck stair, a loaded light crossbow nestled in the crook of his arms. To the Ships Mage's right, the fierce dwarven maiden Elgreene stands with a heavy crossbow held ready in her powerful hands.
Driving the lumbering form of the firbolg Glute before her, the business-like Herzhay quickly loads and preps the starboard ballista, while Nibs, with flour noticeably covering his hands and forearms, and a clearly flustered Nubrell take flanking positions along the rail, both holding crossbows with less than confident grips.
The lookout Ferris, having retaken his place in the crows nest high above, shouts a quick warning down to the crew as the final green-skinned pirate seeks to climb aboard over the fore-starboard rail. Between the lingering wounds and magical effects inflicted by the Navigator, the ready claws of the waiting tiger and the ready, assembled weapons of the other nearby sailors, the last of the unwelcome boarders is quickly dispatched before he can even manage an attack.
As many of the crew on deck look up to the senior officers gathered near the helm for direction, it's the ever perceptive Ships Mage who cocks an ear to the sky and calls out,
"Ware! Arrow's from the aft!"
And as quickly as that, arrows begin to rain from the sky, peppering the aft-section of the Shore Shark and falling amidst the armour and flesh of the ship's crew stationed there.

Distracted by the noise of his emerging shipmates, both of Dekket's blows go amiss. The tiefling has the satisfaction, however, of seeing one of the tiger's claws rake off half the pirate's face before the would-be maruader topples back dead into the sea he arose from.
Hearing an ominous *whistling* sound, the tiefling bladesman looks back towards the aft-section of the ship to see a rain of arrows fall across the back area of the ship. Amidst the shouts of pain and outrage, the red-skinned devil scion sees the white-haired sorcerer he met the night before spin and almost topple from an arrow strike.

Once back in to the nest he was able to provide a quick point to the last pirate climbing the ship and then he hefted his crossbow and leant out to take aim at the opposing ships crow's nest first and then moving down from there as he needed targets.

Bravely putting aside the pain of your wounds as best you can, you summon forth your magic to give the Shore Shark yet another burst of wind power, you do indeed notice the sails *snap* taught as a result, speeding the ship noticeably though the dark, moonlit waters. Breaking off most of the arrow that hit the Captain in the chest, and completely ignoring the arrow sticking out of her own shoulder, the First Mate shakes her head in wonder at you before ordering,
"Great work, A'ro, but I want you off the poop deck. NOW! You can run the topside crew from the main deck. I don't want another lucky shot taking out our Master of Sail. And see to those wounds, sailor!"
[OOC] RND6: While you didn't specify movement, I'm going to assume that due to your severely injured state, the First Mate's orders and since the back half of the Shark is now clearly in range of bow fire, that A'ro would leave the poop deck. He can obviously still hit both the mainsail and foresail from elsewhere on the ship. Let's say F11.

"Nice work there, Kestrell. Ye as well, sailor. I've just about got it... *GRRR* Ahh, there ye go, Hurley! All ready to welcome our friends yonder, haha!
[OOC] RND5: The catapult is loaded and ready to fire. Koalinth 3's wisdom save: 13 FAIL. K3 takes 1 point of psychic damage and has disadvantage on his next attack.

[OOC] RND5: Kay's opponent was already dead by the time Dekket acted in the initiative order. Both of Dekket's attacks miss against the lone remaining pirate trying to climb aboard. RND6 beginning. All PCs please post their actions for this round.

Kay hurriedly runs back and forth distributing crossbows and ammunition to the crew, breath heavy in her lungs. Once she has done what she can she grabs a crossbow and bolts for herself and runs to the aft of the ship, starting to climb the net up the mizzenmast to get eyes on the approaching vessel and to find higher ground from which to fire bolts down on the enemy.
Action: Move
Bonus Action: Move
Movement: Move
Kay uses her actions to grab more crossbows and bolts to give to others, grabs some for herself and moves to D6, starting to climb the net if she has sufficient movement.
~♡~
Once back in to the nest he was able to provide a quick point to the last pirate climbing the ship and then he hefted his crossbow and leant out to take aim at the opposing ships crow's nest first and then moving down from there as he needed targets.
Heavy Crossbow Attack: 7 Piercing Damage: 13
A'ro just grunts dropping to a knee as the arrow pierces him. He just raises his hand making a decision to place his trust in the crew and try to gain distance on on the other ship launching a gust of wind into the sails to increase their speed. He just looks in the direction of the first mate and captain "I'll try to get us some thinking distance on how to clear our ship and stay away from these marauders." he looks at the arrow coming from his side "I'm hit!"
OOC:
A'ro casts gust of wind into the sails, hoping to at least build some distance and buy time.

Seeing that the immediate threat is taken care of, Kestrell will shout "Is anyone badly injured?"
Kestrell uses the Ring of Jumping to cast Jump on himself.
