Whispers smirks, "Worried you won't be able to wash the smell off? Well, if you don't want to do any heroics then we can find something else to entertain ourselves."

Jones gets the woman's name and contact information (if she'll give it) and heads over to the hospital to check it out. On the way, he radios that he is doing so.
The woman gives her name and contact information to Creature. Her name is Jane Doe. As Creature exits the apartment complex, he notices Arcon talking to someone on her phone. Also, Creature can also smell the stink that is all over Hive Street.
When Creature radios back to the police station, he is informed that Spy has escaped from Prison.
DM: I have not worked that out with Spy yet so I don't know
The officer tells Creature that the police station has just got the report a few minutes ago and don't have all the details yet. They will let him know when they get the details.
You enter the building and the smell is stronger here. As expected, the reception area is littered with broken chairs and shattered glass, courtesy of Dark Matter. The filing cabinets are broken and rusted. There are random bottles around, probably left by hobos. There's also a barrel with some ash in it. This is probably how they kept warm at night. The whole place is dirty. The strangest thing here though, or rather not here, is that there are no hobos whatsoever that you can see.
Creature, upon searching through the litter practically carpeting the floor, you notice what appears to be... blood? It's dried but it can't have been there for more than a day.
If Ilia notices Jones, she'll wave to him, and start making her way over. If he makes it clear, however, that he doesn't want to be bothered, she'll stay away.

"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
"I kind of expected that you would. I'm not super keen on digging around the guts of Hive Street personally but I am a little curious." Whispers heads out the door of her place, "I'll meet you there."

Yes. The waiting area stretches further ahead and opens up to a space that has elevators and stairs. The space has a wall in to the north (not actual north) and two passages going east and west. Also, you can try to clear some of the garbage off the floor to get a better look at the blood stain.
DM: Unless I specify otherwise, usually when I mean north, south, east or west, I refer to the parts of the room when looked at from above. This is to avoid the "your left or my left" situation.

"How long have you been hearing the noise?" Jones asks.
(Looks like my post didn't get through. I posted a response to this a day ago but now it seems it never got posted)
The woman answers, "I've been hearing the noises for a few days now. It was especially loud last night but no noise since morning"

Jones enters the building.
Not going to even talk to Arcon? Okay.

((Staying in character. He's working. It's not social hour.))
Jones searches for anything of interest.

Regardless of whether Jones wants her to stay where she is or not, Arcon will notice that the smell is stronger the nearer she gets to the hospital.
Whispers waits a bit in silence on the phone.. "Um, Ilia? Still there?"

"Oh, yeah. I just saw Jones walk by, and the smell is getting worse by the hospital. Think I should check it out?"

Is the blood a trail?
You don't know. There's too much stuff on the floor.
Does it make sense to search further in the building?
