"Hey Jones, how's your beat going? You remember the case of the new super villain everyone calls Spy? We finally found a lead on the case. Turns out, a certain Velias family had seen a steady but unexpected boost in their finances. We did some digging and found out they are getting money wired to them from a certain account. After doing some more digging on the account's records, turns out the times where it gets money deposited to it and the times when it gives out is suspiciously bank robberies however that could easily be written off as a coincidence under normal circumstances but we have found proof that this account indeed has the stolen money and it is indeed sending it to Velias. We suspect one of them or their associates might be Spy. We have already raided their house and arrested all members present. Now don't worry, we don't need backup so you can relax. I just thought you might have wanted to know about it.

You know what's really amazing? It was young Ema who got us the lead. Guess the guys who laughed at the new kid for getting so invested in the case feel stupid now eh? Anyway, be sure to give her a call and congratulate her when you get the time.

In Post #98, Raven identifies Spy by name. Creature's "buddy" just said, "You remember the case of the new super villain everyone calls Spy?" So, wouldn't the name have rung a bell when he heard it at the bank?

Telepathically Ilia hears a quiet voice "Oh you like me. You know it."

Yeah, you're right. I messed up there. I'm going to retcon and say that Creature was too busy with the unconscious ganger and didn't' hear Raven mention Spy's name.

In her mind, Spy hears this slightly unsettling sound of quiet overlapping voices but then a clear voice, "Call me Whispers. So you're a 'villain' then?"

Earlier tonight in North City, another building finally succumbs to damage and collapses. The building in question housed 400 people of whom 300 were in the building during the incident. The collapsed building resulted in 120 Thousand dollars of damage. However there were no casualties thanks to the intervention of the world's greatest hero, Emblem. Regarding the incident, Emblem had this to say.

 An image of a well built and muscular man appears on the screen. He is wearing a blue mask to hide his eyes. He his costume is white, his gloves and cape is blue and a golden eagle emblem is on his chest. The man says, "The times after the Event has been tough on everyone but we must stick together and persevere. This planet is all of our homes and no matter how bad things get, it is our duty to rebuild it. We will stay together and stay strong. Every single person can help in the reconstruction project in any small way. We can build more homes than what was lost today. The heroes will remain vigilant and will protect the world from any villain that dares to threaten it. I, Emblem, promise you that."

Greg Sergeant, a local man who lived in the building had this to say, "Emblem saved our lives but a what cost? We lost our homes and the stability we worked so hard to regain after The Event. It feels like the universe is against us at this point."

While Hylon is still under repair, many places which were once bustling metropolises are now barren ruins. The trace radiation and the wreckage left behind by Dark Matter have made these mostly uninhabited locations a prime breeding ground for dangerous creatures that have come about due to the radiation. The governments are stationing guards at the edges of civilization for the protection of her citizens. The police have given up on those that went missing after the Event though many families still search for their loved ones. Small groups of scavengers have formed in the wastelands making the ruins even more dangerous to enter as these scavengers are heavily armed and battle hardened. After Rob Hitch, a 43 year old man, went missing while looking for his family in the wastelands, The government as advised civilians to not leave the limits of their respective cities unless they are traveling by highways that are deemed safe. "We will surely reclaim the wastelands in the future but for now we must focus on repairing that which has not been lost" says various government officials.

With the property value of many neighborhoods astronomically dropping due to damage caused by The Event, these once safe neighborhoods have devolved into shelters for the homeless, territories of gangs and  den for drug addicts. People are not to walk alone in these areas at night as they are likely to be mugged. People also to be weary of Gang violence as gang wars have become more and more frequent. Villain Godfather is the only winner here as he and his goons are profiting from selling weapons to the gangs and running drug rings. With the loss of Lawman and Jury, the Police are having trouble keeping up with him. Global Police Chief, Enforcer had this to say,

Mounted on his left wrist is a retractable metal riot shield. Two SMG barrels are mounted on his right wrist. On his back is a rocket launcher. Around his waist hangs a Stun Baton and various grenades of different uses. Enforcer says, "Lawman and Jury were very important to the Global Police. We are struggling to fill their shoes but we will succeed. Please ensure your safety to us. We will bring Godfather and all like him to justice. You can count on us."

The Police have finally managed to find a lead in the series of bank robberies committed by the new Villain, Spy. Young Policewoman Ema Bright managed to find a link among the evidence that lead the Police to Velias Family. We will now hear the details from Ms. Bright herself.

A young woman in a blue police uniform appears on screen. She has brown bob-cut hair and green eyes that are framed behind rectangular pale pink framed glasses. She speaks excitedly, "So, being the new girl in the force, I really wanted to do something for everyone. So I really worked hard and tried to find anything from the blurry video footage and the depleted bank accounts. After pulling an all-nighter while high on energy drinks, I finally found something. See, the Velias Family wasn't doing too well financially after the Event. However, I noticed that they had been doing, not great but better recently. So I did some more digging into their bank records. Turns out, they are getting a small but steady flow of cash from an unknown benefactor. This cash flow started roughly the same time the bank robberies started. I thought this was really suspicious so I did even more digging on this mysterious benefactor. Turns out, his account gets money deposits shortly after every bank robbery. Finally last night, after looking over records from the Central Bank, the report of the last 3 banks that were robbed and the Velias Family's recent expenditure, I found out that the cash they are getting is indeed the stolen cash. So I told the others at the precinct and we had our lead. Mr and Mrs. Velias have been arrested and will now be questioned."

The reporter says, "I see. Is there anything else you want to add?" "Yeah, I'm sooo happy I was able to help everyone out in this case. Everyone at the precinct is proud of me. I think that once the questioning is done, we will find out who Spy is."
