Demetrio, the shopkeeper frowns. Special? I don't quite know what you mean. Everything you see is for sale, and if you need something else, I might have it or you might find it elsewhere in town.
(OOC Reminder: Either post in the third person, or start your post with your character's name, please)
(Soron addresses the party members inside the shop(not sure if we are all inside)) : Hey, guys, we are not planning to go and look for Gundren today , right? i mean it took us about half a day to get here form where i found those marks (drag marks) , even if we leave now we are probably going to get there around dusk. Either way i want to get a drink first.
Elmar, could you point me towards a tavern or an inn?
An inn? Yes, of course. Elmar seems happy to help. The Stonehill Inn is just down the road, on the left. Toblen Stonehill is the landlord, and he'll be pleased to welcome a large group such as yourselves. You're staying in town for the night?
At this point more than likely Elmar. Kylara turns to Soron and saysSoron,I will meet up with you wherever Elmar sends you off to have a drink at, there are a few things i need to buy in town that is not avalible at this store. Can you get me a bottle of wine? Something that is nice but also very strong. She tosses him her share of 10 gold she just got from the job. We still need to discuss my tea and other things remember? You can always have your small feathered friend tag along with me to guide me back to you.

Kylara, you are able to buy everything except the dagger and grain alcohol. Make an Investigation check to find a shop that sells daggers.
"She tosses him her share of 10 gold she just got from the job. "
That's quite ambiguous. Exactly how much money are you giving Soron?
Demetrio, Elmar is happy to assist and fetches your purchases. That's four gold pieces, sir.
10gp, this is the price for 2 bottles of fine wine correct? If that is not the correct amount then I will collect the remainder of it at the time I meet with him. I am having him pick it up so I can meet him later and discuss how I make the tea and other bits of knowledge. Not going to drink them both tonight (going to use this as I would have the grain alcohol in my pm to you)
Good sir, you mentioned that other persons have had things go missing on the roads? May I enquire as to who has suffered a loss? Do you think they may offer a reward for any itmes that can be returned to them?
Kylara, unfortunately you are feeling a little uncomfortable to be back in a town setting, even if this is a very small town - it's still far from the wilderness that you call home. You walk a little way down the street and look at the various buildings - you think you recognise an inn nearby, but you can't see anything that looks like a shop that would sell armour and weapons.

(The price of a bottle of fine wine is 10 gold pieces. I'm not sure where you got 5 gp from, but please do check with me - I am here to help! If you want to use the wine for something, then write here what Kylara would like to do, and I'll let you know the outcome.)
Steinarr, Elmar nods to you in greeting. Good day to you, sir. I would say that we normally get a few traders who pass by this time each year. They're usually very reliable, but this year they haven't turned up. I've no explanation for it, though they may simply have chosen a different path. But Linene Graywind, over at Lionshield Coster, she's been expecting a delivery and it's almost a week late. That's very strange. The Lionshields are very disciplined - care a lot about punctuality with their deliveries, you know. A bit uptight, to be honest, he grins. Don't tell Linene I said that.
(I have not moved yet, just looked from the current position on a direction to go.)
Kylara splits loot from the trip with everyone. She goes to Elmar and asks if he knows of a place to buy a dagger and any information on anyone in town that can do leather-working in town.
(She was focused on her own search and did not hear the talk about the traders)
Kylara, Elmar Barthen is happy to answer your questions. Yes, you could buy a dagger at Lionshield Coster, no trouble. Linene Graywind can help you with that. It's just down the street, past the town green.
As for leather, well, we've no tanner, to be sure. You could ask Freda, of course. She's a weaver by trade, but a pretty good seamstress as well, and I know she's stitched together a few leather coats for folks. That's the best we can do, I reckon. He shrugs. We're not a big place, you know. Of course you can order things to be sent from Triboar or Neverwinter, but they might take months, even a year to arrive. I guess you folk aren't planning to stay that long, eh?
X, you walk down the street and soon reach an open area. There is a wide dirt road, and to your right, a town green. You see a few people standing around, including an elf and a human chatting on the far side. You see an inn nearby, but no sign of a shop that might sell armour or weapons. As you are looking, two boys, perhaps in their early teens, approach. One is taller, with scruffy dark hair, the other shorter and perhaps a year or two younger, with wide jug ears. They look a bit apprehensive, but mostly curious. The taller one nudges the other, who asks: Hello. Are you a giant?
X, the younger boy speaks again. You couldn't make Meken here into a shield. A rake, maybe, and he pokes the older, taller and skinnier boy in the ribs. Cut it out, says the older one, speaking for the first time. The older one looks at you and says. At the Coster. This way. He runs along the street a bit and turns round, clearly hoping you'll follow.
do you have anything “special” for sell or only the basics??

good sir, I would like to buy a hemp rope, bell and grappling hook from your fine shop today. Thanks.

I leave the cart after we arrive and I get paid and begin to look for somewhere that might sell a shield

(X)
What do you think?
I say without looking at them and with a good amount of sarcasm
X, the shorter boy answers. Dunno. Maybe? Watcha doing? They don't approach, but they also don't appear put off.
(X)
Looking for a shield. I'd prefer to not have to make you two into one. Where can I find one?
X, the younger boy speaks again. You couldn't make Meken here into a shield. A rake, maybe, and he pokes the older, taller and skinnier boy in the ribs. I follow, still not looking at them
