Kylara's club bashes down on his head with enough force from her magical reinforced attack, it cracks his skull, sending blood spraying along with a little bit of brain matter. His right eye eyes pops out of its socket on initial impact with the club, and he slowly falls backward, lifeless and lands with his body in a disfigured mass on the floor, limbs twisted in unnatural directions.
The eye lands on the ground and remains intact, though you doubt it would last long untreated. And with that, King Klarg, leader of this tribe of goblins, is dead.

Kylara, the wolf seems set to grab you by the throat, but Demetrio, his arm now usable, manages to get the shield up in time, not to deflect the wolf's teeth entirely, but to send it into your shoulder instead. You suspect that the attack might have been too much for you otherwise. Nevertheless, you feel the wolf's jaw tighten around your flesh.
Question on the disadvantage the rolls, does it matter when you have GOD dice over there? Apparently so, difference between nat 20 or not lol, just saw that.

Enraged by the unpleasant experience of almost dying he gathers his arcane energy, his hands and eyes start glowing , he gets up from the ground and he starts drawing arcane runes in the air with his hands , his fingers leaving a white trail as they move, at the same time he begins chanting, what previously was a slight mutter followed by the effect of the spell is now perfectly audible.

after the chanting ends he brings his hand up and does a diagonal left-up to right-down motion and a white, glowing dart shoots towards the goblin, he does the same motion with his left hand (right-up to left-down) another glowing dart appears and hits the goblin and then both hands come form right/left- down to middle-forward (pushing motion) , palms facing the goblin and a third glowing darts flies at the goblin (Magic Missile)

then with the rest of his movement he puts as much distance between him and the wolf
Soron, the missiles all slam into the goblin's neck, one after the other, each tearing a larger gash until the last one almost, but not quite, severs the head from the body. The goblin is dead. You move away.

Demetrio, the wolf shows no interest in your rations and appears to want to rip Kylara's throat out. However, X's final blow is decisive, and the wolf crumples to the ground with a sickening crunch.
Combat is over. You stand victorious in Klarg's cavern, the bodies of your enemies lying around. There are some crates and barrels of goods along the southern wall, and a campfire with a cooking pot in the centre. There are dark corners that you have not explored in this cavern. You feel that you have cleared out most of the goblins' hideout, though there is still one path (north-west from the pool cave) that you have not yet taken.
Sildar Hallwinter lies unconscious but stabilised on the ground; he is still severely wounded but not in imminent danger, and will awaken in 1 hours unless given magical healing.

I have enough reserves left to heal Sildar back to wakefulness or shall we leave him to rest while we make sure there are no others left in here? We are yet to find the Costers supplies and there is a REWARD for retrieving them. Steinarr side eyes X as he says this. Of course let’s take a short break to catch our breathes and see to our wounds.

Steinarr, you find an unlocked chest in one corner with 600 copper pieces, 110 silver pieces, two potions of healing, and a little jade statuette of a frog with tiny golden orbs for eyes - it is worth around 40 gold pieces, but you will need to find someone to buy it first. You find 14 copper pieces on the goblin that Soron does not search.
The crates and barrels in the cave mostly have a little picture of a lion on them, but they don't contain anything interesting.
Soron, you find 27 copper pieces on the goblin you search. If you want to attempt to pocket the money without others seeing, please make a Sleight of Hand check.
Beware, Kylara says,we did not explore the other path so there still could be something or someone that heard us fighting. Lets rest here for just a few minutes. Be sure to check for traps while you are looking around.
Steinarr splits the money evenly and distibutes it about. Each person gets 122 copper, 22 silver. He hands one of the potions of healing to Soron and approaches X with the other as a gesture of good will. He keeps a hold of the statuette until it can be sold.
These are the stolen supplies, once we have rested a moment we should clear the cavern and then remove these items and Sildar to the cart.

Yes Yes. I'm sure your pat on the back will be a truly exciting reward indeed. All you had to do was needlessly sacrifice your life to do so.
