To recap, Cat Valentine has successfully seduced the barkeep, Wright, while Raven sits at a booth with the journal that belongs to one Lucas Wright. Cat's last action was to question the barkeep, but that never came to fruition. Is that still the plan Cat?
Cat: You question Lane about the owner of the journal, nervous that asking about the cultist will make them not answer you. They seem nervous in their answer, but reply that Lucas Wright is their younger brother who went missing a couple of days ago. The only thing he left them was a topaz bracelet and his journal, both of which he lost. It seems that they want to confide in you.
Cat: Lane starts going off, about how their the only one who takes care of the family and now that Lucas is gone they aren't sure what they should now. The mention that the local cult, which normally just left people alone, has started to become more violent and attack people in the city. Lane thinks that they might have to do with the disappearance of their brother, his bracelet, and his journal.
Raven: You began to realize that this Lucas is actually a child. He seems to be around 13, and only took up roguish behavior to learn the thieves' cant so he could encode his journal. He was researching the nearby cult.
Cat: Lane looks like they're trying to remember something. "They frequently met in the Blackquill Library. I think they were looking for something in specific, but I'm not sure what. If you want to know more, I would go there."
Lane waves to you as you walk away, making you promise to see them again, and the two of you head back into Blackquill. While you're walking, you run into Simon. He's looking at the two of you sideways. He hands Cat his flask back "You can keep this as long as you don't pull any stunts."
