Droop shakes his head. Bone men, he whispers. Never seen. But red men scared and say word. Droop not sure. Come see. No traps. Droop know some traps, and how to avoid. But maybe not all traps. Please don't hurt if I make a mistake. Please please please don't hurt poor Droop.
Droop leads the party up the stairs and back into the large cavern. He takes you across the north bridge and then up into the storeroom that was off the northern end of the cavern. At a first glance, it appears to be a dead end, but Droop starts poking around the eastern wall.
There was no sign of the creature you previously encountered in the crevasse cavern, unless you want specifically to search for it. You have left the unconscious Redbrand man in the game room, unless you want to do otherwise?
(There are a number of things you might want to do at this point. You could search the storeroom; you could discuss what has happened and what might come next with each other; you could take a closer look at the cavern to try to find the telepathic creature you met before; you could interact with Droop or attempt to see what he is doing.)
Nate says to the party before they follow Droop out of the bedroom "Guys let's feed that creature a dead bugbear for now... at least it'll keep it busy. I mean who knows how long this will take. Then, when we are done and have some prisoners with us on our way out, I can come back and give him the... the live Redbrand."
OOC: The redbrand is KO'd for 4 hours, right? That should be ample time to get the prisoners and get out before he wakes up, right?
Nate is actually going to drag one of the Bugbears out of the bedroom and up into the crevasse section. He will then proceed to kick/push/roll the bugbear down the crevasse. "Don't worry, we are still looking for a live one!" Nate yells out into the darkness of the crevasse. He's completely freaked out at this point but is trying his best not to show fear to the creature.
Nate follows along with Droop and the party to the storeroom after that. "Droop - what are you looking for over there? Also... don't get scared but I might turn back into that big spider like before. Or something else. I just don't want you to go running off scared."
OOC: Sorry I just like having this map on the page that we are on.
Brom would help Nate with the bug bear, thinking the best place to leave it would be the rock they seen it take the ration "fresh meat not living now but we have live meat, we are taking the prisoners if you want live meat you can't attack us" Brom isnt shouting just talking in a tone that his voice echoed around the cavern hoping the creature got the message.
Brom, you and Nate dump a dead bugbear at the rock. There seems to be no response from the creature as you leave it and rejoin the others in the storeroom.
Droop finishes his examination of the wall, open with a faint click, a secret door opens in the east wall, leading to a corridor on the other side. Droop smiles and gestures for you to enter. This way to sword room and prisoners. And also bone-men he adds, looking unhappy.
"The prisoners' safety should be our number one priority, we do not know what state we will find them in. It would probably be best if we adopted a stealthy approach."
Leo slowly creeps after Droop, giving the goblin occasional encouragement as he leads the way.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Nate is surprised to notice that the creature doesn't take the bugbear. Yes, it was dead, but I mean, it is a bugbear!
"...hmmmm, I wonder where that thing went?"
Nate shrugs his shoulders and then follows along through the passageway behind the others, likely the last or second last (Omnia last I believe). If we need a stealth roll here it is: 19
Delmon looks around in the store room before moving with the group into the newly revealed hallway. "What an interesting place. I do hope the prisoners can move about well enough to give us an easier time on the way out." He then mvoes forward with the group, staying in the middle of everyone while trying to follow the stealthy lead.
You enter through the secret door together, Ophirinn in the lead, Brom following, the others coming just after.
Passing through the door eastward, the passageway turns south. There is a door in the eastern wall, and another door at the end of the passage about fifteen feet to the south. Droop points to the eastern door. Sword room. Then to the southern door. Bone men. He shudders. Bone men don't touch Red Men, but they don't like old master or me. Danger to go inside.
Nate follows along behind in the shadows of the larger Dragonborn and Goliath.
Once they get to the next section, Nate will look to the group "We should probably go in here first" points to the Sword room door.
He is ready to follow along into the Sword room (if that's what we do next?) and is still thinking about that freak creature that didn't seem to want to eat the bugbear. He's also starting to think of what he might want to change into next.... daydreaming a bit.
Leo drops his voice to a whisper, addressing Nate, "What do you make of these 'Bone men' that Droop keeps mentioning? Think there is anything to it? We've already seen that there is more to these Redbrands than we first assumed."
"You know Leo I was also thinking of these bone men. I am assuming they are skeletons... or some type of undead. Really hoping we don't have to find out though."
Delmon, moving with the group, says "Sword room sounds fine to me." He heads to the door and looks back at the group, "Ready?" He says as he reaches to open the door.
OOC: Once everyone is ready Delmon will open the door. (Or try to)

Updated map. You are all in the storeroom in the north-east corner.

Nate nods his head at Delmon "Ready." He watches intently as Delmon tries to open the door...
