(I suppose its Thia’s turn for a speech lol and I hope I don’t make a complete fool of myself)
Thia would nibble on her lip as the situation around her tensed. Opinions and truths that were backed up with passionate words. Well this escalated quickly. She couldn’t help but have sympathy watching the younger Cannith attempt to calm his elder. She also felt just a sliver of frustration she’d imagine Corti could be feeling considering he’s challenging her free will. It was obvious Corti didn’t need anyone to defend her, and she definitely handled it with poise. Milo, as always, a great word smith. But...
With the silence weighing on her, Thia would clear her throat before breaking it. “I like cheese.” She’d reach for some cheese from a snack selection on the table completely avoiding to make eye contact with anyone until she could make it to her point. “Sometimes what we think could be a mistake, may actually be the key component needed.” She’d look up. “I know you guys are totally over the mould conversation, but with all due respect to everyone here...” Thia would look to Tiberius, “You may not educate it, but you can choose to nourish it, or even just leave it be. And the results may surprise you.” She takes a bite of the cheese before finishing her thoughts out loud “What once may have been assumed to be an error... with the proper conditions... something as discouraging as ‘mould’ actually provides us with a whole range of sustenance. Cheeses, breads, teas, alcohol, sterilization, medicines...” Thia trails off.
After another moment of what could be awkward silence, Thia would remember her manners, “My apologies for speaking out of turn Mr. Canniths. My name is Thia. I am a student, an artificer and a new member of the Veiled Valour. I personally do believe there is more to the Warforged than what meets the eye and I think Corti is proof of that. I hope that you may reconsider reevaluating the full potential of the Warforged.” She’d fiddle nervously with the sleeves of her jacket, thinking this would be a perfect time for Corti and Milo to begin their duet.
Tiberius, unswayed by the persuasive efforts of his younger relative and apprentice, and enraged by the follies of the strangers before him shrugged off Arc's placating hand, and stormed out of the establishment, with a look of exhaustion and fury, the dragonmark still dimly shining on his forehead.
Milo, Corti, Arc, Tarian and Thia all looked at each other with a mixture of fear and relief, before the barkeep, silent until now, spoke up from behind them: "Please leave this establishment immediately. I need you to leave, please." His eyes are wide in terror, and although fearful, he seems determined to have the five only guests in his tavern leave immediately.

Corti is still somewhat shaken by Tiberius’ agression, but throws Thia a smile after her cheese speech. Corti’s bardic tendencies appreciate the metaphor.
She looks at the barkeep, and nods slowly. “Alright, I suppose we should take this elsewhere. Any ideas?”

“I figured it was a little cheesy, but...” Thia would wink then shrug. She’d grab a few more slices of cheese on her way by the tables as she escorted herself out along with the others. It was fair that the owner would ask them to leave when anger and passion that deep flies. Though, she is relieved that Corti wasn’t offended. “We thinking private or an establishment? I do have a private dorm room. Could be a little tight, but it’s something.”
Milo helps escort everything out of his room, leaving ten gold behind. We could find another place more spacious to conduct our business, go through our proposals and maybe get a song in. I’d be happy to pay for your rooms if needed.” He says once out of earshot of the Canniths.
The nearest local Milo finds is already somewhat inebriated, and visibly amused by the odd makeup of their little group. "A high-end 'stablishment? Well, there's the Velvet Glove, a couple'a blocks over. Or the Hammer an' Ale, by the Overpass. Other'n those two, jus' some union bars, not sure they're open now though, what with the strikes an' all..." Seemingly satisfied with his answer, the drunk quickly turned into the next alley to relieve himself.

Tarian had to restrain herself several times during the conversation with the older Cannith. When the conversation finished, she forcibly pried her fingers from their death grip on the hilt of her sword. Corti’s not some machine, Cannith. Of course, Tarian knew had she voiced her opinions on the matter, whatever job Arc had for her would have vanished like so much smoke. Worse, had she done what she wanted to do and punched the old man, there would have been far worse consequences. Watching the old man storm off was a great relief to Tarian. Good riddance.
After the party was ejected from the Golden Gear, as Milo stepped away to speak to a shabby drunkard, Tarian stepped closer to Corti. “I’m sorry. I’m the one who led him to you. I would never have done that if I knew that he was… that.” Tarian shook her head. “I tried to think of a way to shut him up, but—” Tarian thought of an old adage about hammers and nails, “when all you’ve got is your fists, all your problems start to look like someone’s face.”
At that moment Milo called over to Tarian. Per Milo’s instruction, Tarian fell back and tried to watch from a distance unnoticeably.
Before Tarian walks off, Corti smiles at her and shakes her head, "Don't you worry about it. It was bound to happen eventually, I guess that my days of keeping a low profile are over."
She follows Milo's lead to the Hammer and Ale.

Arc, after making sure his Uncle got back to the carriage safely, would attempt to catch Corti and the others. He doesn't run, but does move with purpose.
Thinking she hears footsteps behind them, Thia would fall behind the others and stop to turn around. Seeing the young Cannith head their way, she’d wait for him to approach.
Seeing the two women stop and wait for them, Arc takes a breath and stands before them. After a moment, he bows his head to Corti and speaks, "I apologize for my Uncle's behavior, his mind is not as open to new ideas as it once was, but that is no excuse for the words he used to insult your being. For that I apologize in his stead and ask you don't think to badly of him." Keeps his head bowed until he gets response and waits.
Milo having stopped and wave a sarcastic hand to Tarian as a thanks for the lookout job, rebuttals Arc with “A little late for that, still have a chance for redemption though. What interest does your family have with Spark’s new project? Going to take a lot of steel.... lot of work in the town. Whoever backs it is going to look like heroes when it gets the full launch.”
Thia would go to open her mouth to respond to the Cannith, but Milo of course chimes in first. When he’s done, She’d clear her throat. “Milo doesn’t speak on everyone’s behalf. At least not mine.” She’d throw a look to Milo, not that she thinks he’d care of the difference. “Generation gaps come with their challenges.”

“Wise choice.” Milo will find a guard or local to ask for a higher end establishment to stay and lead the way.
Before leaving Milo would turn to Tarian “would you mind falling back and keeping an eye out to make sure we aren’t being followed?”
