The group has settled after the rush of adrenaline. The noises of the catacombs have hushed and you have the rest to explore.
Noche in his sibilant voice says. "This place reminds me of our maker. But it has been desecrated and turned upside down. He would never have tolerated undeads or other foul creatures roaming this place. He was all about life."
He seems hurt by all this.
In front of you, a very well made corridor goes to the west and a bit farther into that way a door half ajar leads to the south (27).
Perception check, please. DC 16 if succeeded read the spoiler.
You hear the clicking and shifting of bones rubbing against each other coming from the west (Area 28),. The echoes might have amplified it but it sends shivers down your spine nonetheless.
Hoyle will cautiously and as stealthily as possible, sneak to a point where he can peer into the room to the northeast while listening for anything out of the ordinary.
Hoyle and Joshua move a bit in front of the others. They follow the way and it bends a bit toward the North.
As they get closer, they notice (using you passive perception) that the stones on the tunnel, that go up to a human torso and those below it are all marked with strange scratches. In some place huge gouging furrows follow for several feet.
Hoyle advances into the tunnel toward the big room.
It looks like a library or laboratory was set up here.
Visibly the person who worked here loved dragons and large lizard. There are carvings and mural paintings that all depict them. There a ma y scribbled notes also and a small alter on the eastern wall dedicated to Mystra the goddess of magic.
A huge cage sits in the North west corner. The metal door stands ajar.
À slight breeze make you turn your head toward the west.
Two eyes, the size of small plates and glowing red, just at your eye level stare back at you. A foul smell coming from it almost makes you gag. As you watch it unfurls into a small but still impressive skeletal dragon. Silver scales shed has it gets up and protruding bones scratch the stone wall.
Init please (I'll do it for those who haven't done it by the time'I come back to the story.)
Talon would stick close to the others, ready to help however he can.

Confident that there is nothing to worry about, Joshua continues walking and opens the door

The door opens easily but let's a bit of a creeking sound makes some of you cringe. The sound echoes into the tunnels.
Tait has a sharp indrawn breath as the noise echoes down the tunnel and holds it until the sound fades. One it can no longer be heard he releases it.
Whereabouts are we now on the map you shared?
(in front of the door on 27)
"Maybe I should go scout the large room to the northeast?", Hoyle suggests to his friends.
"Not alone. I will go with you. Though I am sure you will be fine without my help" (bardic inspiration, 1d6 to use in the next 10 minutes)

(Sorry, I didn't check the thread this weekend)
Hoyle will steady the aim of his bow and fire for the beasts chest:

Then he will back up towards the rear of the party (behind the tanks), maintaining his focus on the creature.
