Seeing a keyhole on the door Slate takes inventory of the things they had found, "Anyone found a key so far?"

I don’t think so. But, we could always have our resident thing-smasher break it. Or we could light it on fire, my preferred way of dealing with this. Then again, if it’s trapped,  either will do good. Except fire, fire always does good.

No one you're aware of has found any keys

and the door is iron - pretty sure that won't burn very well

"While we could try to break our way through this door, we don't even know whats on the other side, probably best we just pick a different direction and come back once we have found a key" Slate then turns and heads back out into the cavern and ponders where they need to head to next. 

OOC: Looking back at the map (copied below to refresh) it looks like there might have been something I didn't see before to the south east in that slippery room. I think that's the only direction we haven't gone, unless I'm missing something?

Yeah when you were in Area 25 last time - you just kept trying to go upstream to the northwest...

OOC: Cool, does anyone have pitons or something we can tie off to so we don't slip and get tossed downstream again?

I'll allow even just rope to tie yourselves off to each other - and give you advantage to your checks to not fall if you're tied together.

(Crowbar, Hammer, Manacles... hm, nope. No pitons. Got a chest though.)

Iroona blanches at the thought of the slippery cavern where she almost got flushed once already. "Um, I recall a side passage we didn't explore back... uh, that way?" and she points toward the place where the group first came into the fungus cavern. "Some of you checked out the bear's lair, but I remember wondering what was down that other passage."

"Maybe there are more ropes and stuff in there?" she finishes lamely.

Slate

"Wherever m'lady wishes to travel, I'll lead the way" Slate says with a slight bow to Iroona before she turned and heading off towards the unexplored area from which they came.

Vonman takes this opportunity to light a torch. Could come in handy. I’ll go that way

"Abra Kadabra!"Flint yells at the closed metal door. If nothing happens he turns around with his axe beak and follows the others. Mumbling under his breath about being the master of Nashbar Tower and how all doors should listen to him. 

As you backtrack your way through the fungal cavern and the tunnels back towards the bear cage you enter a tunnel you didn't explore the first time through here.  

A trickle of water seeping down from the hillside above reaches this irregular cavern, nourishing a profusion of fungus — weird puffballs, tall caps, and patches of fuzzy mold in a variety of colors. A golden-brown carpet of mold covers an old skeleton in rusted mail in the southern part of the room, and a narrow passageway leads to another small room beyond this one. A surprisingly bright sword gleams in the skeleton’s bony grasp.
