Talien will awaken, red eyes lighting up the darkness and he moves to the door, close to Rees and stares at the goblins until everything goes quiet. He then says One act of violence and I will end you all. He makes no moves for his weapons but the armory on his back and sides make his intent clear. Rees hands over food and water.
"I don't know. I'd rather not kill you if we can help it, so as long as you all behave then when we're done with our mission I imagine we'll let you go."
"Wees behave... let uz go now and wees behave... has families wees need to find... wees dont like Belak as much as yoo... his hobs beats uz! Makes uz doo works for him."
I can't trust you. We plan to release you after we kill Belak. I will not go into battle with someone I took prisoner. You could turn on us leaving us with less chance of survival. Talien turns to Rees and says as his eyes change to purple, The risk is not worth the possible alliance, we can not afford to have them turn on us during battle or ruining the possibility of a surprise attack....or alerting the enemy and us walking into an ambush. Talien walks back to Rees's resting area and faces toward the goblins and Rees as his eyes appear to mostly power down once again, leaving only faint flashes of random light coming from his eye sockets.
Are you guys trying to be quiet? Or are you loud enough to wake the sleeping?
The goblin isn't exactly using an indoor voice when he exclaims something, but will speak quietly when pleading with Rees -- darting eyes back at Talien.
( Rees would be trying to be quiet, but IDK about the goblins )
"Then think of her and go to sleep. Surely you can manage one more night. It'll be alright - none of my party would hurt a child."
"That metal man mights hurt us... hees threatened! Let go now and wee helps you with information? ...Wees leave this place and not come back... find new home in mountains... away from here, yes?"
“He won’t hurt you unless you try to hurt us. Just go to sleep because if you wake everyone they’ll be extra cranky.”
Insight check to see if I feel like these goblins are genuine or manipulative/trying to play on my sympathies?

Though you haven't spent much time with goblins, he appears to be genuine in his motivations. You also remember that these goblins appeared to just be workers in the various shops down here when you encountered them. There were only a few guards and they didn't put up much of a fight.
