Rees waited at the bottom of the tree for Arxius to start the climb, knowing that she'd find the best route up. "Arx, toss a rope down when you get up? I don't wanna fall out of a magic tree if I can help it."
"My rope is not that long," Arxius calls back. She stops on a particularly thick branch and sets her pack down to remove her rope. She secures one end of the 50ft rope around her waist and thighs and lets the rest of the coil drop back down to the ground. "Tie on. Climb with me. Secure your grip and footing before each move."
Rees wrinkles her nose but ties the rope around her, trusting Arxius not to fall even if she did. Grumbling under her breath about how magic items really ought to make useful things like ladders, she starts to climb.

You have made me big before, but not in a small box that...(he gestures to the tree that came from the tiny thing Rees threw on the ground). That could be useful in battle, if I was in a small thing and plopped up out of nowhere behind the enemy.
It takes you the better part of a half hour as some of you are not as adept at climbing as others, but you all make it safely to the top and clamber out of the depths of the Grove level back into the Fortress level of the Citadel (you're now back in area 41 top left [NW] of the first map).
Something immediately feels different about the place. It feels cooler than before and it is eerily silent...
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
With Rees safely out of the shaft, Arxius unties the rope and winds it back up as she sits down to put on her boots and gloves again. "Is everything gone?" She asks, looking around. She'll get up and move slowly through the space, making sure they're safe.

Nice, taking the investigation roll...
The door to the southeast stands open and a cold draft pours into the room your in.
(For the sake of time I’ll assume you look through the doorway).
The goblin hall which used to house the goblin villagers and their assortment of goods (junk you guys picked through) now stands dark and empty. This room is even colder than the one you currently just climbed up and into. There do not appear to be any hostiles, or anyone for that matter. You also notice the luminescent fungus is no longer glowing as it once was making the room seem even gloomier.
Meepo suddenly shivers. With a worried expression he says aloud, "Something not right... too cold here.. too quite... Meepo must find tribe!" His expression suddenly turns into panic as he runs for the door and into the next room.
If Grom heads out, then Alten will follow. I imagine he's looking at Rees and Arxius when Grom speaks since Meepo is their "adopted kid". Alten's head is probably on a swivel between the three.
