Outwardly to everyone else, Othokent seems taken slightly aback by whatever is said, but quickly replies back in draconic.
"I teach them in time. Patience first."
Having said his piece in the moment they shared, Othokent turns to the others looking more relaxed than since he first entered the building. "Little one makes strange request. You are already part of Hunting Party."He says, not seeming to have registered Alton's previous distance and reemergence into the situation. Snake Eater just bobs her head in agreement, then began looking around for their dwarf companion.

Tolroc will stay quiet and just watch and see if Alton is able to get us all hired. He'll keep eyes and ears out for anyone overly curious about our business.
Ardon looks pleased as he notes the group beginning to file over. ”We can be ready to leave in an hour. We will meet you at the southern gate. Bring your entire hunting party.”
Othokent nods slowly. " Will cost tip. But if trip short, or nothing happens, may come back for it in time." He reminds the party of the informant indirectly. "Anything we should avoid doing, bringing, the like?" He inquires pointedly. "Know some caravan have special.. hm.. forget word. But special thing, sometimes with. Dangerous thing when set off."

"Alright. we'll meet there." Alton starts towards the door. Everything he needs is on him, and he's a bit paranoid, so he's going to go scope out the meeting place.
Othokent is quiet for a moment or two, then nods to Ardon. "Understood. These ones shall be there in time. On our word, Wise One."He says something that at least sounded draconic to Snake Eater, prompting the snake to take up her customary carry position. If there are no others lingering behind to ask other questions, he follows behind the rest. Once finally outside Othokent stands a little straighter, and hisses out a sigh of relief. "With respect. If all are not prepared, then should leave now. May not get other chance for a time, this one believes. Will meet back at Southern Gate." Without waiting on an answer, he follows Alton immediately to the gate.

when they get to the south gate, Alton turns to Othokent. "I appreciate you coming right away as well. It's good to have powerful friends watching your back." He flashes a rare smile at him. "Sorry if I offended you back at the shadier bar. Im not used to people trying to help me. Hopefully we won't be waiting too long... I'll find somewhere where I can watch everyone else arrive without being seen." He turns and fades into the shodows, waiting for the others to arrive.

At some unspoken signal Snake Eater slithers off Othokent's body, and tries in its own sneaky way to creep up on the preppers to sniff out anything odd about them. Othokent, meanwhile, keeps his distance, wishing not to further concern the preppers. Though after finding a spot to sit or stand a fair distance off to the side, his unerring stare betrays great interest to any that turn to look at the black-scaled hunter.
If one particular burly or sleight of figured caravan member stands out to him, he spends the next minute focusing more intently on them.

Alton, Othokent: No one in particular seems to stick out, they all appear to be regular caravan workers.
Elnrog: One of the the works stops to turn and look at you. ”Well, thats good to hear, what with the banditry and all. If you wouldn’t mind helping a hand, we can be ready to leave as soon as Ardon arrives.”
Elnrog will begin helping with whatever is needed. He makes no mention of his other comrades location and pretends not to notice them if he sees them watching from outside the caravan as prepartions are under way.
Once Snake Eater slithers up to deliver her report on safety (a simple head bob), Othokent settled in moreso to continue keeping watch over the caravan from a distance. Over time he realizes Alton is either missing or hidden somewhere. Confused, he starts to send Snake Eater off to search for the missing halfling, but then refocuses her attention towards looking out for watchers either too interested or trying a little too hard to play as much off watching the caravan load up.

stealth? 15
Whenever you make an ability check that lets you add your proficiency bonus, you can treat a d20 roll of 9 or lower as a 10.
I have proficiency in stealth, so I can treat the 3 it just rolled as a 10, meaning the total is actually 10+12=22
You all head to the South Gate, arriving well before your hour is up. There, you find a caravan preparing to leave, although you don’t yet see Ardon.
