Investigation: 10

(Sorry. I might have been half asleep and forgot intelligence existed. Its been a long night lol)

 As far as you can tell half of the cells where you are at contain people who are taken over the others are not which you would know in this area which is about 4 and in each is one prisoner.

Lassnera seemingly flows in to see the monstrosities prey on the prisoners as she tied the looted necklace around her neck. Disgust gently etched on her face, an idea pops into her head.

Appearing next to Hesken and asking, "Can your axe cleave the bars to help? No one deserves a fate so cruel..." She gently places a hand on his arm and casts Guidance to give his mind clarity.

"I will do what I can..." With that she knocks an arrow in her shortbow and proceeds...

((OOC: Have we rested all? Also, I have Hammerstone loot... Hammerstone's Hammer is a 2-Handed, I guess?))

Vitha looks puzzled at Lassnera's decision. She looks to Bernal and says," I guess if you transmutate the bars into wood, Hesken can chop them." She drops her maul and crosses her arms like a child who was just told no. 

Hesken shrugs, "I can try, but only with the ones that can still be saved." Hesken will walk over to one of the cells with a prisoner that hasn't been turned yet and taking up his greataxe in both hands he will swing it to see if it can chop through the bars. (Attack: 22 Damage: 9)

(OOC: Are there doors on these cells?)

The Hammer is 2 handed. Yes you all have rested. The Bars change into woods which Hesken will cut through with easy the prisoners inside their cells are shocked but are thankful. "We thought we were lost the ones to be forgotten and never heard to think those from the bottom level made it this far we dont know of a way out other then how we were dropped in but there must be or there wouldn't be any paths we will go so it doesn't alert as much attention to yourselves". 

(Long or short rest?)

I'll assume you all hid long enough for a long rest at this time before trying to break the cells

You all have had your long rest everything on the first floor has calmed down and you all are missing from your cells so they will be looking for you on this second one. I assume you will be on the move. Which path would you like to take the left or right path or middle?

Bernal looks at the paths in front of him and listens to them one at a time (Investigation: 15). After that, he would point at the one that has less sound and say "I think this way may be safer, but I'm open to suggestions. What do you people think?"

(OOC: sorry for not posting the last two days, I had to travel)

(Its all good it happens no biggy if we all can if that is gonna happen for longer then 2 days lettuce know) Also listening down the paths. The right you do hear crawling or walking. To your left it is kinda empty sounding the middle is more just more screaming people that are being torchered but it sounds worse then what was doing it before.

Hesken taps Bernal on the shoulder, "So.. which way?"

"The central way has people screaming, the right has something crawling that may be monsters, and I can't hear naything from the left. Left may be our best chance to sneak out of here."

Lassnera, as smooth as her movements seem, cannot deny the 'clink' sound each steps she takes as she approaches the water phoenix, "I do not think we are to sneak out of here. It is not a simple case of a thief slipping through bars." Her gentle voice somehow piercing the the cries of the monsters, the screams of the tortured... to which the aasimar turns. With her glowing mace lighting the way, she points, "we must save who we can as we cleave a way to freedom - to not would only be savage."

"Would it not be just as savage, if not more so, to give them the hope of freedom only for them to be recaptured and have a worse punishment or killed?" Hesken openly asks Lassnera, and in essence the group, with keeping an eye on the passages to spot anything that might be hostile. (Perception: 10)

The path to the right sounds like the intellect devours but they sound loose in the hall. The left nothing as far as you can hear the olcenter is very apparent something is there it maybe really big.

Lassnera turns to the dragonborn, her tone and face neutral, "On the surface, you may think so. However, outside the barred doors they are not under complete control of the torturers and have a chance, no matter how small it may be, to escape... much like us." With that she extends a hand to the dragonborn, then looks around to extend the introduction, "Lassnera. A blessing of the Sun to meet you all."

After introductions, if they commence, the aasimar looks to gauge what large creature lurks further...

((OOC: Guess she had something in her eye?! LOL))

(It's pretty dark and hard to see as well the little torch lights here and there arent really enough. It's seems as though people are suspended the prisoners if you look that way the people sounds quickly muffled as they seem to be in a quite large mass that moves into each cell it kinda blends in very well you can't tell what it is but it is able to squeeze in and out pretty easily despite it's size. Some of the cells are just full of bones. 

 Anyone else gonna introduce themselves or make a move? 

also we are a player short as well so I will have to replace them. So anyone who sees this please look at page 1 and read my introduction and you can join (looking for active players I don't mind the experience)
