"I agree, we should head back to Sergeant. He will want to know what we have found." Umdrak will stand beside Idozu helping help get out of the house and following the others.
"Whatever happened here we can probably guess the wizard was messing with something he should not have been as seems to be the case in several instances with wizards..." Alton mutters.
Walking out of the house Kwisatz calls Duncan to fly down to his shoulder and tosses a small snack from his pouch to him. Hearing Alton's muttering he says "I'll have you know that many of the most important discoveries in the arcane were done by 'messing with something'. Just look at..." and starts to drone on for a couple minutes about the history of detect thoughts.
Alton will lead Idozu as they make their way to find a priest, going slow that be can warn him of anything that may be in the way. "This is almost making me wish I stayed with the watch... There was more things that got in the way but it was much simpler."
“Like I mentioned before, I believe either Torm or Bahamut would be the ones that would cast this judgement. I serve Justice, working to protect the natural beauty of the world. I won’t deny that many gods hold sway over our lives.” As Idozu continues to explain to Alton as he is being guided.
"Well as soon as we can get your eyes fixed the sooner we can complete our duties." Umdrak follows along behind the rest of the party and decides to get to know the new member. "So Darien, those are some impressive blades on your back. Whats your speciality?"
"Well I've been learning how to use these since I was nine besides that I don't have many skills, just a good fighter. Before joining here I was a higher up in the watch nothing too special about me though." Darien will shrug slightly "What about yourself dwarf?"
Noding back towards the longbow on his back. "Oh me. I was a hunter before I joined up with these guys. But I can handle the blades alright as well." He finished his comment tapping the Shortsword on each hip.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kwisatz gathered his books and materials, packed them up, and is following along with the group. Healing magic is something he's never taken the time to study, so is instead more concerned with what's happening around them. perception8
The group is going through the Castle Ward to had toward the Dock Ward and decides to go to Tyr's temple in the Hall of Justice. ( Torm and Tyr have the same, almost, god's portfolio )
Because you are not on patrol you are allowed not to wear your grey cloaks and the Fist brooch that closes it in the front. But should you need to make yourself known you are asked to always carry it in a bag.
In terms of both geography and power, Castle Ward is the city's center. Most, if not all, of the city's administrative buildings are within the ward boundaries, from the lofty spires of thePalace to the low-slung crenellations of the guard smithy. While money and social standing are the prevalent benchmarks of might in the City of Splendors, Waterdeep's true power and what keeps it running are the Lords and Magisters here. If you like the taste of power and authority mixed with the usual commerce of the city, Castle Ward is the place to go.
The city guard maintains a strong presence in Castle Ward due to the concentration of city officials and areas of importance in need of heavier security. Even so, the watch maintains much of the order, especially around the Market, the Palace, and the Castle Ward docks. Like the guard, the watch makes a show of force in Castle. Ward, traveling in larger patrols of six and brandishing short swords in addition to their normal rods and clubs.
Architecture
It is hard to pin down a "typical" architectural detail for Castle Ward, as there are so many different structures here that dominate the skyline. The city buildings, temples, and wizards towers are impressive stone structures, with the Palace and Castle in leagues of their own. Folk who quest for power but lack the funds to rise above the merchant class often dwell in the environs north of Waterdeep Way, their homes either well-kept row houses of three to four stories or individual homes of one or two stories. In either case, structures tend to be timber and wattle-and-daub with stone foundations nestled among the shops. The southern leg of the ward is primarily made up of barracks and warehouses attached to the castle and to various wealthier merchants and noble houses.
In terms of roads and byways, Castle Ward is by far the easiest ward to traverse due to the paving on many of its larger, primary roads. Even with heavy cart traffic on the roads, it is possible to travel from the Field of Triumph to Castle Waterdeep in the same time it takes to cover one-third of Dock Ward's docks. The paving is primarily for access by dignitaries and officials of the city and other foreign powers.
"Do you think we can quicken the pace through here. I don't want to spend more time then I need to in this area."
Having lived most of his life outside of the city, Umdrak feels uncomfortable in the richer part of the city. Money and power have never been a temptation for the humble dwarf as anything of need could be gotten from the earth itself.
Keeping an eye on his surrounding he is watching for anybody taking particular notice of the group as they travel the city paths. (Perception 10)
The Halls of Justice:Temple to Tyr. A busy place popular with many magistrates, Watch, Guard, and city bureaucrats, the Halls of Justice are a towering edifice divided among several groups: the temple tradition of the Halls, the Holy Order of the Knights of Samular, and the Order of the Even-Handed. While they are divided on specific tenets and traditions, they are a unified front in the accomplishment of Tyr's principles
The group enters the Hall and a priest comes to meet them. Like most Tyrian priests he looks more like a warrior than a man of the cloth.
"Hello brothers, " he gives you a slight salute when he sees the cloaks, " What can the Temple of Tyr do for the Greys ?"
Entering the halls, Kwisatz sends Duncan up to fly around just to keep an eye out ((perception13)) on the area around, and then says to the priest "Our man here"pointing up at Idozu "seems to have been stricken blind. We were hit by some type of demon..." and proceeds to explain about the beast and the cry it made, finishing by saying "our sergeant said you here might be able to assist, as we have been, as of yet, unable to bring his sight back."
The man stiffens slightly when he hears about a demon.
He nods and adds "i ll have to talk about his to my captain but for now I will se what we can do to help your friend here. You can wait here, this shouldn't take long."
He takes Idozu's arm and leads him to another room.
Alton taked a seat as he waits for the priest to attempt to help Idozu. "I have not spent much time in this part of the city. It is without a doubt very different from the Wards I usually venture into. All of us should be on our best behavior here or we will end up with the watch breathing down our neck or worse."
Several minutes later Idozu comes back still held by the arm by the young priest.
"This man has a strange and terrible darkness to fight and he will need your help to win over it. He will still be able to serve the Grey even as he is and but my master has seen that his blindness can and will be a boon in the future." He hands him to one of you and smiles.
" Go in the light of Tyr.... All of you." he casts Bless. "Speak the name of Tyr and the light of his justice will shine in you brothers."
(OOC: The first one to speak or pray to Tyr will give the benefit of the Bless spell for a minutes for all of you. You ll ned to be close to each other to be affected. )
Don't forget to act the shield to your inventory.

Alton sighs and face palms as he drones off shaking his head while doing his best to tune him out. "Forget I said anything..."
The group moves off and heads back to the Grey Tavern
Let's move that discussion back to the Barrack Thread.

Are you going somewhere specific. I think all of you know where your main diety's temple are in the city.
