Initiative 5

(to prevent iniative rolls taking too long, I will wait about 15 minutes before starting the encounter. If no one else enters initiative, it will begin. But when you log on, if you'd like to engage feel free to roll initiative as well and you'll get entered into the fight. I think that's the fast and easy way to do it.)

Taysia is shocked  by everything that's been happening, however her medical knowledge  snaps in quickly. She rushes to Ester and kneels by his side. She pulls out her healer's kit and uses some gauze and ointment from inside to patch up their wounds. (I'm hoping that this won't count as an actual use of the kit, since Ester isn't dying.)

Thoradin pulls the shield from his back and draws his warhammer "See, now they be getting to hear the song of me hammer!"

Taysia is able to successfully stabilize Ester (and we'll say it doesn't count as an actual use as he isn't dying) and he begins to cough and then rolls over, clearly conscious and regaining his bearings. 

Initiative Order:

Fionn: 20

Amnesty: 16

Hooded Figures: 14

Taysia: 9

Folwyn: 5

Thoradin: 5 

The hooded figures are first. More of them rush in toward Folwyn (you estimate there are approximately 6 or so, but two run to Thoradin, not quite making it there, but ready to attack.

Three attack Folwyn: Attack Rolls: 13, 5, 22

Only one hits (one was a crit, though...) so the damage is: 12 piercing damage.

Taysia, it is your turn - what would you like to do?

Taysia will turn around and pull out her hand crossbow. Pointing it like a pistol, she's going to fire at the hooded figure that hit Folwyn.

Attack roll: 14

Damage: 5

And as a bonus action, she's going to use bardic inspiration to inspire Thoradin (1d6 extra to something for 10 minutes. I don't know if it only works once or not :P) by saying, "They're coming your way Thoradin!" and then singing, "Thoradin your a fiiiiirewooork!!"

The arrow imbeds itself in the skin of the hooded figure, and they stumble back, yelping.

Folwyn, it's your turn. What would you like to do?

Since you rolled so high, you can go if you'd like, Fionn.

Fionn murmers a phrase and points his mace at one of the figures and casts sacred Flame (Dex save of 13 or take 2 radiant damage

Initiative: 16

Change all of that, Folwyn will use Stones Endurance to reduce the second attack

The hooded figure takes 2 radiant damage from Sacred Flame.

As the glaive connects with the hooded figure, it screams in pain and falls back, its eyes closing. But then, before it hits the ground, it transforms into shadowy mist and surges up into the sky, out of sight. The others look at you, Folwyn, a bit of fear and a bit of rage in their eyes. 

It is now Thoradin's turn.

Thoradin is going to approach one of the two that were headed in his direction and attempt to smash his hammer into his ribcage.
