As Yasiri asks what the plan is, Kruk and Deryus don't directly respond but seem ready for a fight.
Kruk doesn't hear anything from the door at the street level. He gently manipulates the handle of the door without making a sound, confirming that the door is locked.
Erik Sand, a halfling, has followed the party out of curiosity; suspicious, but maybe his skills will come in handy none-the-less.
Soft, light footsteps approach the party. A male half elf with long brown and purple robes, holding onto a staff looks upon the party with curiosity.
"Uhh.. Sorry....to bother you. But I over heard your conversation in the pub... And well.. I think you might need my assistance..." he says hoping the party will allow him to entertain his curiousness.
Erik nods in agreement as it does make sense to open this door before trying anything else. He grab his 'magic' door opener and tries his luck with his tools...
(it's the sleight of hand skill, isn't it? I'll check later :) ) ; 18
Erik will unlock the door but not open it yet. He is a careful fellow who does one thing at a time. He listen for any sound from the other side in case anyone inside heard him trying to unlock the door; (passive perception is 9, do I roll 1d20 +9?) 13
I just found out picking locks and disarming traps is a simple dexterity check so it's +3 dex not +5 sleight of hand; 5
Dreyus opens the door without noise. After opening and entering you notice that each door in the office area (Z5) has a steel alarm bell mounted above it, but these have not been triggered.
The upper floor suite of offices apparently get little use; the doors between office rooms are all open, though the door to the south is closed. The rooms have desks, chairs, and bare shelves covered with dust and draped in cobwebs. Harmless rats skitter about.
Kruk will stow his bow and reach into pack for a torch, taking a few seconds to light it before motioing for everyone to step back as he hands the torch to the nearest person. With that done he will then cut ofnthe rope off and then usenhis sword as something to tie it to. With that done he will carefully move back to the door and push his sword through so that those without darkvision can see inside the room. "This shoukd help some of you I hope."
(I was going to just throw the torch in then I thought it wasn't a good idea to burn a buiding down..)
Though long abandoned, it does seem that these offices were used at some point. There are scattered papers and and dried-up ink wells to be seen, whether there is anything of value left you can't tell just by a cursory glance though.
Soar is still contentedly looking around, barely toying with her warhammer. "Well now, these people sure don't clean up very often. And wow, may I compliment you on your lock-picking skills? It was impressive to watch. Can we tell if these bells ring if we open the last door? There has to be some way into the rest of the building. Then we can talk to the snake charmers, ask them about the misunderstanding with Floon, and be on our way. It will work out fine, I just know it."

You see a firey looking man in basic traveling clothes, a Warhammer is slung over his shoulder with one hand that has a silver gauntlet on it, pass by you before stopping and turning to the party entering the house, ”Hello? Can I ask what you're doing?”

The comments about snakes and missing people got a halfling's attention and he silently followed the group to the warehouse.
On the question on how to procceed the halfling replies;
"Going down perhaps? Hello all, I'm Erik Sand... but this' place might not be the best location for introductions."

(It's a dexterity check plus proficiency bonus from thieves tools but you rolled high enough either way that it doesn't matter.)
Erik unlocks the door, making nary a sound; he then listens to the door but hears nothing.
Erik nods and steps aside so the more combat-ready adventurers can walk in if they want to.
He place his fingers on his dagger handle but don't pull it out from its home just jet.

(OoC: I must temporarily withdraw from the campaign. Anivar or another character will return...)
Kruk stays by the door with his bow at the ready, doing his best to stay out of sight if anyone or anything is inside the building.
