Red and Adri dash to the mirror, knocking aside Abner and Brozak. They use their combined strength to topple the mirror to the dirt floor, but it doesn't seem to have any effect on the psychic wail emanating from the terrifying reflection within.

ooc Does the mirror count as prone now? Do we have advantage?
[OoC]: Inanimate objects tend to be immune to such conditions. The AC of an object usually comes from its hardness rather than the difficulty to hit it. So to answer your question, you don't get advantage.

Abner pushes past Brozak and Red and forms a gesticulation with his hands. A huge billowing cone of flame erupts from them and completely consumes the mirror. Red, Brozak and Adri instinctively step back and cover their faces with their hands as the heat from the fire reflects from the surrounding walls and begins to scorch the wood panelling supporting the manor above. Abner grimaces as the flames continue to pour from his fingers, and suddenly the wailing stops.
Letting the spell die on his fingertips, Abner staggers backwards breathlessly. Therne peeks out from behind the hallway to the other room, no longer affected by whatever frightful effect was cast upon her. Your group breathe heavily, sharing quick glances with each other - still processing the event that just occurred.
A sharp sound grabs the attention of each of you. Small fractures begin to network along the surface of the mirror. The horrific image of the woman now disappeared and replaced by thin white lines.
Your breath catches in your throats as the mirror suddenly shatters and leaves an empty black void in it's place.
In that instant your surroundings melt and change. Though you still stand within the basement, its walls are now shadowy and indistinct; intangible, yet impenetrable.
Everything is darker, and colder now.
The mirror itself is back to standing in the corner of the basement, blank and featureless - a deeper darkness within the gloom.
All colour has become muted. Even with Abner's light slowly fading, the darkness is oppressive and suffocating - with an overwhelming sense of despair gnawing at the back of your mind.
The cellar that Therne fled to looks to be in better condition than it did before, yet everything is beyond your grasp, giving way to shadowy nothingness whenever you draw close.
The ladder to the kitchen still stands, ascending into an inky pool of blackness through which no light can pierce.
You are plunged into absolute silence, except for the faintest sound of quiet weeping that seems to be emanating from the very walls themselves.

As you speak to each other, there is a strangeness to your voices. It is almost as though your conversation is happening on either side of a window - you can hear each other, but not as clear as you should. The same goes for Red's song.
Abner manages to cast his light on the ceiling as he did previously, but the radius of the glow appears to be diminished, and flickering shadows play at the periphery of each of your visions despite there being little movement around you. When you try to focus your stare on the shadows, they go still and disappear.

Adri will help (if she is not longer frightened).

"Stand back! Looks like fire might be working a little."
If Abner can find an angle that won't scorch his friends or start a major fire, he'll cast:
Burning Hands
Damage: 5
But if he perceives that this would be too dangerous, he'll dial it back to a Fire Bolt instead.

Adri will attempt to reach out and touch the newly standing mirror.
As far as she can tell, it appears to now be just a normal mirror.
