A moment later, the mist and swirling colors of dreamspace begin to solidify as Ilaan's form begins to fade. Within a few second, you're standing back in the grove, with Khova kneeling and blindfolded on the ground. "Pretty good, Taran," she says, testing her bonds. "That would've held her. Untie me now?"
"O-O-Of c-c-course, ma'am." Taran says dashing over and undoing the bindings, "W-W-e th-thought to keep you b-bound as we tr-traveled, but th-there s-s-seems to be l-l-little r-risk of her br-breaking free."
"I'm more worried about Nirdaya trying something else," Khova says tiredly. "I was in 8925's mind for years, I know how she thinks and how to deal with her. But Nirdaya is ruthless, powerful, and she's angry. Really angry, and that's something she isn't very often. We should get moving."
As they walk Vishal asks Akuma, "So are you going to tell us about the black wings? Or why you though kicking a door open in a stealth mission was a good idea?"
Akuma raises an eyebrow in Vishal's direction before shrugging calmly. "Short story. They're burned but I enjoy their appearance, and you were all taking too long. Suppose what would of happened if we had waited? She was coming to find Khova regardless. If we had taken much longer Khova could have been captured. The wings, however, are a much longer complex story."

Looking at Khova and her confusion Vishal sends out a mental scream of “SHE MIGHT BE TURNING WAKE UP!” to Taran as he prepares to grapple her and hesitantly says, “Khova? Is that you?”
At the best of times, Taran is a light sleeper, and with Vishal's mental scream he snapped awake instantly.
Moving on pure instinct he drew his dagger, coating it with the Basilisk Breath poison and diving to stab 8925 before she could act.
(Assuming she is prone, and Taran can reach her. Dagger: 13 damage including sneak attack: 14 and she will make a wis save vs slow, followed by four con saves vs paralysis at the end of the next four turns. )
“Yes. We should get her to safety as soon as possible. The shroud will prevent anymore mental attacks.” Vishal responds
