Taran would quickly treat the few blisters he finds, knowing that they could cause more serious problems on the trail, especially since they were traversing such mountainous terrain.
Then once the camp was packed, he would set out to scout ahead. Being back home in Adar though, and with no signs of pursuit so far, he would range a bit further ahead than normal, so that he could stop and attempt to gather more reagents for his alchemy.
(OOC: I figure we are moving at about a slow rate, with Shiazala and all, so if I get far enough ahead, and then spend the rest of the journey with an eye out for ingredients, I can do the DC 15 slow rate check at least seven times for seven hours of travel. So, in the spoilers are seven Survival rolls looking for ingredients.)
Taran is ecstatic to find the rare Ephedra plant, a nearly fully grown specimen as well. Fantasies of powerful medicines and miracle cures dog his mind for the remainder of the journey as he occasionally taps on the sealed glass jar to make sure it isn't a dream. He nearly misses the burgundy Goblin Berries, only their bitter smell causing him to find them beside the trail.
It is a good day, almost enough to dispel the shadows following him from the previous night.
While travelling Vishal sets his pace so he is next to Dulamul and attempts to quietly whisper to the shifter, "How are you? I know last night must have been rough. And you you seem....off. But I can't tell what it is."
"Do you want to talk about it? We can.....well if you trust me we can do it all with just our minds. I'll have to use my....well the same powers as yesterday for it but nobody will be able to hear us."Vishal asks, less confident than he normally is as he presents the idea of telepathy up to the shifter.
Vishal nods, before he focuses on Dulamul and his eyes glow blue as he's sending a message.
"Hey. We can talk like this. And that's all I can do with this. No mind reading, no mind control, nothing like that. Just communicating privatly. Okay?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Vishal responds, attempting to keep the smile on his face but it does faulter a little,
"It's obviously bothering you. And it always helps to talk about what's bothering you. I promise I won't tell the others. Or get mad or anything. Plus....I'm kind of jealous. I can't dream. I've tried so many times too."
Vishal gives Dulamul a reassuring smile before sending,
"No. Not really. Instead, Vavi, that's the quori spirit in my bloodline, kind of shares their memories with me. It's hard to explain. But basically I don't go where the mind goes to dream. Instead I get Vavi's memories, sometimes. It's why...I'm so dangerous to the Inspired and such. I cannot be told the same things in my dreams like you can by them. Because I can't go to that place and have my dreams messed with like that. But in Adar, that doesn't happen. We don't control dreams. Instead its your own emotions, memories, and conciousness making that up for you. Not someone else, or... someone else's memories."
Vishal continues the private conversation, his eyes glowing the entire time,
"They're basically a spirit from the plane of dreams. And long ago they inhabited and work together with humans to create us, the kalashtar. They're basically in a struggle with nightmare spirits who....inhabit the higer ups of Riedra."As Vishal gets to the last part its easy to tell he's hesitant of divelging such information and is concerned with how Dulamul will react.
"Right. How to best say this? Well....I guess the best way to say it is that. Well....a majority of your leaders. Are being controlled, influenced, by nightmare spirits. Who want to tale over everything."
Dulamul shakes his head, a faint snort escaping his mouth.
Vishal:
"No they're not. The honored spirits are just called that to try and influence people from the Path of Light. Your enemies call you and your quori dark spirits, don't they? What would have happened if I just treated you as my enemy from the start?"
Vishal smiles fades, obviously not liking the conversation
"We don't force people to do terrible things. We're not trying to bring nightmare and darkness everywhere. We just want people to be themselves. To have children that they can keep. To love and marry whoever they want. To not be treated like another living being. I'm not going to lie. If...if we ran into each other and the wild. And...you attacked me or even if you didn't. I...I'd have to either kill you or capture you. Otherwise there would be a risk of those higher ups, those under the nightmare's control, learning valuable information. And...I'm sure you would have been ordered to do the same."

Dulamul frowns.
