As the corpse is held aloft outside where the skeletons could see it... they looked, and were about to look away, until they saw Vimaks hands .. at which point they seemed to stare more intently... but they did not move to attack. It would seem the redbrand, while noticed, was ignored.
Bastille walks up and thinks for a while. She says, "Cirrus, could you put on the Red Brand Uniform and peek out the door to see if the skeletons react to you? If you feel like they will react, move away."
Cirrus, very much put off my the blood, will cast Prestidigitation on the rebrand’s cloak (which all their uniform is, right DM? Just the cloak?) to clean it up, then he will put it on. He then starts rustling around in his bag for something. He pulls out a disguise kit, and attempts to use some of the makeup in it to make his skin less blue, and passable as a regular humanoid. The then gets up, and takes a single step out of the doorway. “Oy, ev’ryfing’s awroight in ‘ere, innit? Awl deez ere prisnahs are awl chained up to dem deer wawls. Nuffin to report ‘ere from dis trusty redbrand. Boy do I love killin’ people.” He then pulls out his dagger and makes some stabbing motions to indicate how much he loves to kill people.
(best case scenario, the skeleton is only scanning for the coats, and I won’t have to make a deception check)
You can't drown someone with Create Water. If your lungs are containers than your bones are objects. Any Siege monster that attacks you deals double damage because it’s attacking your bones.
(It's a full suit, but I'll assume you did that the entire way. They have no cloaks)
As Cirrus heads out, donning his new redbrand armor though it has a few new holes.... and as he does, the Skeletons look at him, as they do everything that moves within the crypt. They do not appear to draw any weapons, and lose interest in him after several seconds. Standing and creaking like reanimated bones tend to, going back to their vigil, waiting for something else to happen. The skeletons also do not respond to his heavy, but quality, British drawl. They didn't even bother to look as he stabbed the air repeatedly.
"So, if we cut the uniform into thirds and each take a third . . ." Vimak says, "will we be alright? Will they follow us out of the room if we charge through it?"
Bastille nods and says, "Looks to me the uniform keeps the skeletons at bay. So here's the plan. I'm invisible so they won't notice me. Cirrius will pass the door in red brand uniform, take the uniform off and then I will take the uniform back to Vimak. He will then put on the uniform and pass through."
(I think the question is how big the rebrand we killed is. Is he big enough that Vimak could squeeze into the uniform? They are both Medium sized creatures, so I would think it would be plausible.)
(also, since you called the redbrand uniform "armor", that got me curious about what bonus wearing this would provide to my AC?)

Studded leather. And i put teen or young adult, or a-tleast got the young part out but forgot to type the other half ~.~ so that's my accidental bad.. I'm basically saying he seems somewhere in his late teens to early 20's.
Size
Genasi are as varied as their mortal parents but are generally built like humans, standing anywhere from 5 feet to over 6 feet tall. Your size is Medium.
Size
Goliaths are between 7 and 8 feet tall and weigh between 280 and 340 pounds. Your size is Medium.
Cirrus official sheet height: HEIGHT 5' 8"
Vimak official sheet height: Not stated.
So.. How tall is vimak? if he's within a foot (so 6'8") it will fit both. if he's taller, he'll likely tear it if he can even get it on
(I mean, maybe he doesn't have to wear it all the way through? Maybe he can just get it on enough to just pass off. There is a rule for large creatures squeezing into small spaces and though this isn't exactly that, maybe Vimak and squeeze into the uniform just enough to not get noticed by the skeletons?)
(In the section in the PHB on Movement and Position, it says:
A creature can squeeze through a space that is large enough for a creature one size smaller than it. Thus, a Large creature can squeeze through a passage that's only 5 feet wide. While squeezing through a space, a creature must spend 1 extra foot for every foot it moves there, and it has disadvantage on attack rolls and Dexterity saving throws. Attack rolls against the creature have advantage while it's in the smaller space.
So no roll but there is a bunch of penalties that the creature suffers.)
(Hmm.. Allright..... then.... Since there's no roll... if vimak DOES wear it... he'll just be HIGHLY uncomfortable as his entire body is literally squeezed but no true detrimental effect. Fair?)
(Oh! I might have to keep this uniform then, it gives me a little more protection than my leather.)
"That sounds like an excellent plan Bastille, but allow me to say this first, I would like to grab some weapons from the weapons closet, then I would like us all to explore the south door, it shouldn't take but a moment, then I will come back, walk to the south door, give you the uniform, then you can give it to Vimak, then we will be in the clear for the moment. Do either of you want me to pick up anything for you while I'm in there?"

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Cirrus moves quickly, quietly, but not suspiciously to the weapons closet (rolling for either stealth or appearing to be a redbrand: 14), grabs one lance, realizes it would be way to heavy for him, and thinks it would be pretty good in Vimak's hands. He also takes two shortswords, and heads back towards the party, through the sarcophagus room, stands in front of the south door. He then looks to see if the skeleton is looking at him.
If it is,
"I think I'm going to have to go through the door to give you the armor." He then attempts to open the door and stand out of the skeleton's range of sight. Then he takes off the uniform, give it to Bastille, and wait for the rest of the party to follow through the doors.
If it is not,
He will slowly start to take off the rebrand uniform, keeping his eyes on the skeleton to see if it starts looking at him. If it does not, he will continue taking it off, give it to Bastille, and watch as Vimak creeps across the room towards the door. If it does, he will put it back on and say "I'm going to have to go through the door to give you the armor." He then attempts to open the door and stand out of the skeleton's range of sight. Then he takes off the uniform, give it to Bastille, and wait for the rest of the party to follow through the doors."
If all goes according to plan, then he will give one of the short swords to Bastille, and the lance to Vimak.

"Cirrus, I'm so sorry!" Vimak says. "This is a great gift, one of the best of a life time, but I love my shield and I love my strong right arm. Please don't be hurt by this, but I want to stick with weapons I can wield with one hand."
Most clothing doesn't fit Vimak. He will force himself into the uniform, its seams popping when he lifts his arm to scratch his nose or when he takes a long step.
Once we are on the other side of the crypt, he will change back into his regular, better-fitting, clothes. "Let us move some Redbrands into the next world," he says.
(No like I wasn't searching for a literal key. I was searching for any object that might make the skeletons not react to the red brand.)
Bastille looks at the dead read brand again and watches for the skeleton's reaction as Vimak holds the corpse up through the door.
