Having plucked the attacking Stringe from the air Arnnon sees the last remaining bearing down on him, drawing his swords he waits for it to get closer swinging his blade intending to cut it in half
Anyway with a might chop the last of the Stirges falls dead at Lugnutz’ feet. The group gather their collective breath and search the cavern for the supposed hidden treasure of the bandits. After half an hour it becomes apparent that this was false. maybe even a red herring set by the bandits to protect their stash.
Either way there is nothing of note or value in the cavern.
Galwain looks to the others. It’s gotten dark out now we may as well camp here. We know the cavern is clear and it’ll protect us from the elements. I can set a camp fire to keep us warm and we can probably get some good eating from these Stirges. What do you think?
Ok so the group set up camp for the night. Galawain being an elf requires less rest than the rest of you so after 4 hours of meditation he will cover the night watch.
The night passes uneventfully and you all awake refreshed. ( on your character sheets there is an option for long rest. Press it and all your health is restored and any resources /spell slots or rage uses etc/ are replenished.
The party collects their belongings and packs the camp away. Galwain and Arnnon lead the way out of the ravine and the party heads east towards the Larch Road where they are due to meet Jonah, the Constables boy, to receive information on their next task.
The rocky surroundings start to turn into more gently rolling hills and scrubland again as the miles roll by.
By mid-morning the group reach the Larch Road and see two figures taking their ease under a tree nearby. They stand as the party nears and young lad dressed in the manner of a shepherd approaches. Morning sirs! I am Jonah. I be hoping your ruckus wit the bandits went well. The Constable has sent me with news that one of the prominent townsfolk. Missus Mithra Mhandyvver has found the location of haunted tomb north of here that she is worried may be the cause of the strange goings on. The constable wants you to investigate. Being that that this is all spooky and magical Ol Harburk has hired a researcher of the, what did you say it was sir? Arcane? Anyhoo this is Mr Othronus. I’ll leave you to get acquainted and head back to Red Larch and let Harburk know you ain’t dead
Jonah dips his head in farewell and makes his way West along the Larch Road towards home
Othronus waves to the party and wishes Jonah farewell. He is a pale-skinned, young elf of 103 years, with an earnest expression and questioning eyes.
No need for Mr, good sirs. I am pleased to make your acquaintance. I have journeyed from Greyhawk to meet you at the Constable's request. He knows me as an expert in the arcane research. I hope to join your quest and discover what great secrets this haunted cave may harbour. Will you accept my help?
Once the pleasantries and introductions are complete Galawain and Arnnon stretch out a map of the local area and note the rough location given by Jonah for this haunted tomb.
Hmm it looks like it’s about 12 miles from here. Luckily most of it is along the Larch Road so we should make good time and be there in a few hours. Galawain looks to the others. Lets head off then?
A few hours pass and the group start to head across country heading North from the road. By mid afternoon they start to get close.
Survival checks from everyone please to see how long it takes to find the tomb
Luckily for everyone Geltrix has an impeccable sense of direction due to years on the high Seas and is able to guide the group towards the correct location.
A dark, rectangular hole gapes amid the grass and vines of a nearby hillside. A stone door can be seen, ajar, in the tunnel’s dim depths. The door bears chiseled marks that might once have been a name.
Top of the round
Galawain will produce a flame again so everyone can see and will hold his bonus action in case anyone needs healing.

We should make camp for the night and rest up.
Not sure what this means for the rest of our quest. Seems like a dead end.
Rest is definitely needed and if we have the means maybe some healing

Yarrrr! It be good to have ye aboard!
Geltrix holds out his hand and changes his accent, sliding back into English dandy
It will be splendid to have someone... you know... more on my level, around here... Always good to have an expert on hand!
“Hmmm, what say you my fellow companions?”
As much as Arnnon expectedly does not trust this new stranger and was wary of his motives, he knows the extra help on this quest will come in handy.

Lugnutz still can't seem to manage to work out one end of a barn from another.

What do you want to do?
I would like to investigate the door and what’s potentially behind it
