Arnnon returns to the Helm at Highsun, still getting used to the new armour. As he enters Othronus has a large ale on a table next to a wingback chair he has taken over by the hearth nose deep into book of some description. Geltrix has a gaggle of caravan guards on the other side of the tavern, a few tables pushed together and an intense card game in progress although Geltrix has a massive grin plastered across his face.
Arnnon looks about and does not see Lugnutz, but the dwarven barkeep, Hrothgar, catches his eye mimes boxing and thumbs to the yard out back. Arnnon nods sagely and heads to a table.
A short while later Galawain enters with a hooded figue, he glances around before heading towards Arnnon's table. Evening friend. I have some bad news I'm afraid. I have been summoned by my elders in the Enclave and will have to leave you to continue these tasks with the others. Not all is doom and gloom though, may I introduce you to Viridiana? She will be a great addition to the group and I hope to see you all soon.
Galwain gestures Viridiana towards the table before turning to leave
Varidiana whispers something to Galawain before she departs, you catch something about them being even now. She turns to the party and says You can call me Vi. She says to the party at large, She lowers her cloaks hood that is dark grey with a light blue trim around the edges. Her red hair is pulled back into a bun with some pins (darts) sticking out of the back in an odd fan shape. Her green eyes scan over everyone in the group, taking in everyone. And who exactly do I have the pleasure of meeting? She asks, unclasping her cloak, revealing a full figure wearing a set of chain mail that fits rather snug, and a mace strapped to her belt, a pair of tight dark brown leather shorts that do little to cover he long legs. She has a pair of matching armored boots and gloves to match. As she stows her cloak in her pack you see a shield strapped to it. Also are there any 'rules' that this group has in place? And does the group have a name?
She slowly walks around the table and inspects everyones equipment and appreances as she orders and ale from the bartender. (Bartender description please)
Hrothgar is a sturdy looking Hill Dwarf, rotund in appearance, with greying streaks in his full beard, and it looks like he got too close to a fireball in his youth as his head has had all of the hair burnt off. His eyes widen slightly as Vi approaches and he starts to smooth his beard out.
Good Evening miss. What can I be getting you? We have a selection of light ales or a good selection of wines if that is more your fancy?
ooc: currently it’s just Othronus and Arnnon paying attention to your entrance. Lugnutz is outback gambling on bare knuckle boxing fights (hopefully not joining in) and Geltrix is care sharking over in the corner. In the morning they will be heading south west to investigate Lance Rock and the foul presence emanating from within
She bends over the counter enough that the dwarf can get a look, and says Do you have a darker brew? I like them strong...and, she smiles as she adds, catching him looking and a bit distracted do you know where I can get lodging in this town?
Arnnon approaches the bar My name is Arnnon, it’s a pleasure to meet you, he then turns to Hrothgar Vi will be joining us on our quests for the constable, I’m sure you can find her a room
Arnnon is it? She looks you up and down appreciatively as she takes off her gloves and stows them in her pack. She offers you her and says It is a pleasure to meet you.She turns back as the dwarf arrives with the drink she ordered and takes a big drink and lets out a sigh. Galawain did not disclose the details of this job with me, only that I would no longer owe him a favor, I had other ideas for how to repay that debt apparently he takes things a bit too seriously to consider having a few hours of fun. We are no longer working together directly so there shouldn't be any complications...She takes another sip as she sits down at the bar and visibly relaxes, She turns and locks her green eyes onto you. Sorry for the rant, it has been a long ride in, So what is this job about exactly?
Also still need a discription of your character please.
Arnnon drops the hood of his cloak, revealing his long dark hair tied back, he gestures towards his table offering Vi a seat. With his outstretched arm his new studded armour could be seen. It’s clear the leather has not been broken in by the slightly uncomfortable movements he makes. Arnnon sits back in his chair with his bow by his side.
The local smithy has asked that we investigate a cave system known as Lance Rock. Apparently a malevolent presence has been emanating from the area. In return the smithy shall grant is a small discount on any purchases from them
Ahhh.. Well, ehm… so besides the discount, what exactly is there the offer for in terms of... well, payment? She takes a long pull from her dark beer, almost empty now, and turns to the bartender, motioning for another.
Ooc: you’re getting 10GP each fir each task you complete from the Constable and scavengers rights on any loot you find. The smiths discount is just an added bonus

OOC: (Thanks, I figured as much. I am sure he will let me know as we talk :) Had to be more than just a discount)
There is an assortment of clientele in the tavern. Red Larch is a main resupply point from Yantara to Khorvaire, caravans regularly stop off here to trade and reprovision and enjoy a night in a bed instead of under the stars or a wagon. There are elven merchants rubbing shoulders with dwarves smiths. Gnomish tinkers arguing the merits of ale over wine with half orc and human guards. This is the only tavern in town so if you’re a local and you want gossip or a traveller looking to quench your thirst you’ll find yourself welcome in the Helm at Highsun
Geltrix (our dashing human rogue) is sharking a card game with a group of inebriated caravaners. They are losing money but Geltrix is telling many amusing and inappropriate stories about his time on the high seas that they aren’t minding too much
Vi turns to the dwarf that brings her the 2nd ale and asks him, Did Galawain have a room here for the night? While he is replying she drains the remains of her first ale and starts sipping the second. She will also inquire, I also am looking for a merchant that sells...under the counter goods.
Aye Galawains room has been cleaned and prepared for your pleasure ma'am. He says as he slides the ale across the bar towards Vi. He looks left and right making sure that there isnt any one paying too much attention to them. i would recommend Marlandro Gaelkur's second hand store for something along those lines, although there is a rumour that if you have certain connections the baker, Mangobarl Lorren, is the man to speak to. That's just a rumour from some of the caravaners though I don't know how reliable that is miss.
Othronus, still absorbed in his book, has not yet noticed Vi. As he drains the last of his ale, he looks towards the bar and wonders who she is. Not having seen her conversation with Arnnon, he settles back into his chair and turns the page.
He is a tall, young elf, with a bookish appearance. He wears a robe, loosely crossed across his legs, with cloth booths visible at the foot. He has a clean, neat but unremarkable appearance. His quarterstaff leans against the wall near the fire.
He lets out a small breath, chuckles discreetly, and turns the next page.

Can you give me directions to both locations? She says sweetly with a big smile.
Hrothgars pupils dilate slightly at that smile. He harrumphs and tries to regain some composure. Of course of course! They are both located here in town. Head to the cross roads and you can’t miss them! (The baker Is at area 8 and the barbershop is number 17)
