Othronus, with his years of training in the arcane, notices that the fire doesn't seem to affect the ghost much and fears that this may be a hard fight. He moves back 20ft and casts Mage Armour, in preparation.
The spectral knights form is flickering. Wisps of matter slowly leaking from the blows currently inflicted up it. It seems that while the damage from the wounds is less than normal they are still having an effect.
The spectral knight turns to Arnnon, the one who has done the most damage to him, and not the oddly marked barbarian who started it all. His aura is oddly repulsive at the moment. He lunges forward at Arnnon with his ghostly sword.
The spectre reaches up to its face where Geltrix’s blade passed through it. It staggers backwards to the door slowly dissipating. Lord....forgive.... me......
He fades into a wisp of vapour and is gone.
Galawain turns to the others. Umm so we destroyed a ghost. What’re we gonna do about this rusty door? I think tall grey and orcish should have another punt at it. If you need a crowbar I think one of us has one you can use
The screeching and wailing of rusted steel momentarily deafens you as Lugnutz not only breaks the lock but forces the rusted hinges out of the Stone work and tosses the remains to one side. Just this once he was indeed a strong persuader....
Beyond the rusted door is another square room, twenty feet by twenty feet, containing a stone coffin. The ceiling is cracked, allowing roots and water into the chamber from multiple points, although little collects here. At the coffin’s feet is a rusty iron chest.
There are no traps to the chest, and it is not locked.
The chest contains ruined cloth and the sodden remains of a book, but it also has a false wooden bottom. Othronus notices the bottom is several inches higher than the chest should be deep. Within is a gold chain and locket with a portrait of a lovely half-elf female etched in profile on the inside (100 gp) and two rings of braided silver and electrum (25 gp each).
You can confirm that the locket is of good quality and the styling is correct for the era that spectre claimed to be from. It has no traces of magic on it that you can sense. And while the portrait of the female has survived the trials of time it dies not appear to be of anyone you recognise as being of note. Clearly just a beloved portrait of a dear one for the deceased
Othronus relays this information to the party, the items still in his hands.
Friends! This has been a fine adventure. Shall we sell these treasures, and divide the gold? I feel the need of a fine ale, a hearty pie, and some rest. Mr Lugz - I for one would like to learn what volume of ale you can consume in a sitting! I'd wager it's impressive, and perhaps needed after today's hard labour. What do you say?

Lugnutz and Arnnon are up before it’s the knights turn
”mindless orc, swings first, thinks later. Hope your happy” Arnnon draws his swords and charges at the being, swiping in a cross action
Attack: 15 Damage: 6
Attack: 23 Damage: 7
Lugnutz is unimpressed. There is no eating from this kill.
Con save 14
And then he swings with his great axe, breaking into a ferocious rage. Attack: 8 Damage: 5
And he whiffs
The spectral knight turns to Arnnon, the one who has done the most damage to him, and not the oddly marked barbarian who started it all. His aura is oddly repulsive at the moment. He lunges forward at Arnnon with his ghostly sword.
Life Steal: 7
Arnnon is thankfully too nimble and dodges away from the blade.
Galawain dashes forward his nails elongating into talons again and attacks with Primal Savagery
Attack: 25 Damage: 12
In for a penny, I suppose...
Attack: 8 Damage: 7
I slash again with my sabre, horrified at what could happen, should the ghost catch up with me.
That's a critical hit with critical damage 😂

“I don't think he’ll do it”
Luv its braces himself, grabs the crowbar and applies persuasion to the door....12

”A treasure chest, seems fitting a pirate should open it”
Othronus, feeling sheepish, steps forward.
Allow me, friends. This cave may be trapped, or enchanted, and I did not prove myself in our recent combat.
Othronus steps into the cave and approaches the chest, looking closely at his surroundings.
Investigation 14

Is there anything else people want to do?
Othronus takes the items, steps out of the cave and shows the others what he has found.
Looking closer at the locket, he wonders if he has seen this half elf female before...
