Rhaucred sneaks up to the tent and looks inside. There are no kobolds currently in there. He sees a number of blankets laid about. Enough for at least 8.
There are also four boxes inside the tent near the back of the tent.

"Yeah, seems they are not here, so they should be back some time "tonight" Whatever that means in a place where the sun doesn't move." Rhaucred will investigate the boxes. "We can probably also go and grab the chest from the other room as well."
Nedrick comes back from around the tent wiping his hands on his pants one at a time while alternating the lantern.
"Vile creatures. Lead me to this chest you speak of."
Once at the chest Nedrick will sit his lantern down next to it and draw a dagger. He will then run the dagger along the creases and under the chest to check for any traps he can detect.
We can divide the coin, but we will probably have to appraise these items and gems and see what a merchany will lay us for them, then we can divide that.
After splitting the loot, Rhaucred makes his way back to the tented area. "Lets just set up a watch rotation and take a short rest to long rest while we wait for them to get back. Maybe set up a few traps. If we can keep them in a group I have a spell that should take care of them pretty fast. They will probably be tired coming back anyway and if they were coming to present offerings they might have some supplies."
Rhaucred decides to take a short rest. The rest will be two hours with Rhaucred taking the first watch and Nedrick will take the second watch.

OOC: I just rolled for who would take the second watch but I will hold off on proceeding the watch until you guys decide the traps. If someone else wants to volunteer for the second watch then go for it
Nedrick prior to the watch will take his portion of the gold and the gems that were in the chest. He makes sure to show them to everyone before placing them in his backpack for transparency.

The group settles down into the tent and tries to get a bit of rest. It smells horrible and the heat is definitely not helping the aroma, but they are able to get a bit of rest before too long.

During the first hour Rhaucred watches diligently for the kobolds but they do not return during his watch. Disappointed, he trades off with Nedrick after the hour.

Nedrick emerges from the tent and listens intently for any movement. The darkness nulls his vision but his hearing is spot on. Occasionally, he hears sounds from the passage way to the north, but they seem distant. After the hour is up, everyone is begrudgingly awoken from their slumber. Mort grumbles the loudest from being shook awake. He is no longer sure if he is drunk or hung over.

Nedrick positions his Rapier at the throat of the Kobold.
The kobold is knocked unconscious.

Nedrick will run the Kobolds body through with his Rapier mercifully and drag the body behind the tent once it's life leaves it's body.

Box 1 contains a fine cloth sash trimmed with fox fur, with some clothes and pieces of leather
Box 2 contains some old dried what appears to be scraps of food
Box 3 contains a feathered talisman, weird pieces of sticks, a pewter chalice and some trinkets
Box 4 contains 2100 cp, 1200 sp, 40 gp

Nedrick does not find any traps, but the chest is locked.
Rhaucred tries to figure out of any of the items are magical in any way.

Nedrick is able to pick the lock. The lock seemed to only be meant as a deterrent. He finds:

Rhaucred does not find any traces of magic on the items he finds, but he does find a piece of meat left on one of the trinkets.
