The fist into his stomach sends Oben staggering, and he almost falls. He rights himself, his knuckles white as he grips his daggers with more anger than skill, and launches two further attacks.
Attack: 10 Damage: 6
Attack: 25 Damage: 7
Sneak attack would be on the first one if it hits: 6, but on the second (and therefore doubled?) if the first misses.
Oben steps forwards, throwing out two more irate attacks with his daggers towards the doppelganger. In his first furious bid, the attack only manages to slice the forearm of the creature, however the loose wound is quickly refilled by amorphous black mist, before reaffirming into a solid form. The monstrosity manages to show a faint expression of haughty satisfaction despite it's lack of a mouth, however is surprised as Oben's second attack lands through its thigh, being pulled out just in time for an unidentifiable ooze to begin dripping from the cut onto the Inn floor. This same thick liquid now covers half of Oben's blade. The wound is attempted to be filled, however it seems to deep to be repaired. The doppelganger is now seeming noticeably intimidated, and its foggy white eyes are now darting around the room, looking for a means of escape.

"My my, what isss going on here?" says Reghetyr as he comes down the stairs.
"Reghetyr hadn't accounted for thisss kind of entertainment for breakfast"with a large grin, as he sees the mess the fighters created.
Initiative: 17
If the creature hasn't been downed, Reghetyr will run towards it and will attempt to knock it unconscious with a quarterstaff hit to the head. Attack: 23 Damage: 10
Inssol, reeling from the attack from the doppelganger, leaps forth and attacks it once again with his katana. The blade is cleaved gracefully into its shoulder, and the monster lets out a frightening hissing noise, recoiling from the gnome with hate swimming in its dull eyes.
It is now Vespers action. (Reghetyr, your action will register following Vespers turn.)
Vesper, you raise your finger, a bolt of flame immediately being shot towards the doppelganger. It attempts to run forwards and dodge the attack, however is too late, and though your aim was somewhat low, the bolt still strikes it in the knee - their step falters as the shifting monstrosity desperately tries to reach the door. At this point, the staff have mostly retreated into a back room, and the tavern is little more than a battlefield, with tables and chairs overturned in the struggle - support beams marred, and the bar counter almost caved fully in at one area. The very vibrations of the fight has sent glasses shattered on the floor from the expansive array of alcohol behind the bar.
Reghetyr, it is now your action.

(Do I post a new action or can we use the one I previously posted? Can Reghetyr reach him and attack with his quarterstaff or would that require additional movement?)
Reghetyr rushes forwards to the creature, knowing it would be unwise to allow the monstrosity to escape. A swift smack from his quarterstaff against the head of the creature causes the monstrosity to stumble, as part of its amorphous head has now begun to flake away and falter, as strength is quickly leaving the body of the dying, fading doppelganger. It lets out an unholy sounding snarl, before attempting to grasp Reghetyr by his neck and throw him several feet away into a hardwood table:
It is now the doppelgangers action.
The doppelganger makes an attack against Reghetyr:
Attack: 11 Damage: 6
Following his attempted attack, the doppelganger will use his movement to stagger towards the door of the tavern, barely making it to the threshold with black vapor trailing behind it. It hisses in the now open sunlight, and begins attempting to shift into the appearance of Inssol during its escape.
(No, sorry, that was a bit of a continuity mistake on my part. Should be all cleared up with my previous post. The distance covered from the stairs in this fight is quite small, so he's well within Reghetyr's movement.)
Reghetyr, with the dwindling amount of vitality left within the Doppleganger, you are easily to slam your quarterstaff into the neck of the Doppleganger, in an area where the outer skin has already flaked and died. The impostor, as it limps towards the door, is thrown down to the hardwood Tavern floor, unconscious. The room is nearly in ruin, with the carnage produced by the intense melee, the external door flung open in such haste for the customers to escape, and the staff cowering in a backroom. Now, sunlight is actively filtrating through the closed curtains plated lightly over the windows.
Combat has now ended.

"Ahh! That's better!" Inssol will stroll over to the sheath and put The Bravery back inside it. Holding the blade over his shoulder, he will walk to the back room where the staff is hiding.
"No need to be afraid! Danger has been averted! You can come out now!"
In the relative darkness of the backroom, the Innkeeper is currently shielding the younger boy from earlier - Reuben, you recall. He looks at you in gratitude. "Thank you, thank you. I pray that the damage to the Tavern will not be too costly. What could we give you courageous adventurers for you trouble?" The Innkeeper seems to be piling on rather lavish praise for the encounter, however his inquiry for remuneration seems genuine.
The Innkeeper chuckles slightly in response. "Yes, I suppose that was your original intent. Very well. Reuben, go fetch these kind people their meal." The boy nods, still shaken from the ordeal and sounds of battle, and quickly moves from the room. He troubles in the kitchen for several more minutes, before bringing out plates stacked high with eggs, sausage, bacon and crumpets. "On the house, aye?"

Reghetyr puts his quarterstaff between the creature and himself, easily blocking its attack, which doesn't pack enough strength.
As the creature retreats, Reghetyr will yell:
"Not today sssweetheart!"
