"What's the matter, Haruman? Afraid of the truth!?"Yoska has just enough time to shout in-between lance strikes. A kick to the hit from the nightmare puts a prompt stop to another. Dazed and blooded, the druid turns back upon Haruman with a bloody toothed smile. "Face... THE TRUTH!"He shouts in literal thundering voice, scattering blood and stone alike. And if by some miracle the nightmare falls, causing Haruman to do the same, Yoska steps up to tower over him, if only for a moment.
"... It's not too late, you know.... All you have to do is take the first step." He said calmly, even as part of his face began to peel from divine fire radiating about him.
Action: Yoska Casts (2nd level)Voice of the Gods(Con Save - DC 14), inflicting 9 thundering damage. Haruman takes an addition 7points of radiant damage from Morninglord's Awakening(1st effect).
End Turn: Everyone creature within 10ft of Yoska(including Yoska, halved by resistance) take 4 radiant damage(MLA - 2nd Effect).
Haruman watches as the last drop of life ebbs from you body. He stands motionless above you, as you breathe your last ragged breath impaled with his Hellfire Lance. You can feel your soul leave your body, and the physical body that held your spirit turns dark, like ashen gray as if a burnt log. However, the last thing your mortal mind remembers was not the ascent to a heavenly place.
Somewhere off in the River Stix, a lemure was birthed from it, and joined the endless masses of the Legions of Hell to serve in the Blood War, forever forgotten.
Unaware of the dramatic sacrifice that just took place, Nik Nak shouts something in Celestial, and Seph's bow starts shedding pale blue light, the bow now a magic weapon.

Not making the same mistake like last time, Misha went to Banehold and did two things. She conquered some devils on her homeworld, and she conquered her lover back in their housing complex.
Losing it's helmsmen, and their leader, the Demongrinder slows to a halt and the rest of Ragga's gang flee like cowards at losing their warlord. You now have a new vehicle in your inventory - but it could sure use a wash.
Persephone frown at horribly missing with her last harpoon shot rapidly turns upside down to a beaming smile, as she sees Ragga explode in a red mist, and his weakling gang flee. She happily takes her share of the gold loot (125 gp) as well as 20 honor points.
"That was WICKED! Should we go back and pick up Yoska?" (recall we have no idea what transpired between Yoska and Haruman)
Nik Nak beams and quickly stuffs her money into her back, choosing Glory points herself. "Yeah, let's go get him and then head back to base! I call driving the new one!" She cheerfully hops into the driver's seat of Demongrinder, looking delighted at the monster vehicle.
With the battle over, Nok points the vehicle back in the direction from which they came. Rolling up to the scene, the goblin slows the vehicles as he begins to piece together what happened.
"Not good," he murmurs, looking about to make sure the iron man isn't around. "Not good at all."
Hopping down from the twisted transport, he unslings his pack from his back, dragging it behind him as he tentatively approaches the burned, ashen husk of Yoska.
"Not smart, big guy. Not smart at all."
Without another word, he unsheathes a dagger, slams it down across the ashy throat of Yoska, then gingerly remove the crusty skull. He holds it up eye level for a moment. "Hope it was worth it. We'll talk more later." The Yoska-skull drops into a bag that is then buried deep inside the comically-sized pack, which Nok slings back over his shoulder.
Walking back, avoiding any looks or attempts to stop him, he re-takes the driver's seat of the vehicle and he simply says, "He's dead. Let's ride!" Once everyone else is ready, he shrugs and then hammers the accelerator.

The trip back to Base was uneventful. Those of you who did not participate on the away team receive your Honor or Glory rewards. From here, you can long rest, then pick a new team, the decide what to do.
Jill arrived back at base after having spent the day fighting devils in Bane's name and hanging around the Hiriarts while Misha was spending private time with her friend. Jill was curious when she saw Misha's friend, because she was blue and had one eye and had an accent of someone from the Material Plane instead of Acheron. When she arrived back at the base, she noticed the vehicles were there and the new vehicle that the group had won, but didn't see Yoska. "What happened to Yoska?"

Misha returned back to Avernus with the others to Base, giving Kali an affectionate goodbye, and promising to return again soon. Upon arrival, she looked around and noticed that there was now a female goblin in the main group who bared a resemblance to Nok Nok, and that Yoska was missing. They did, however, manage to come across another infernal vehicle. This one was much bigger than one Mad Maggie had given them.
"I had figured so." Jill says. She takes a moment to look at the Devil's Ride and sees that it is indeed scratched. "And so it is." She says before going off to be alone for a little while.
