OOC: Do we believe that this thing coming in hot is going to hit us?  If so, Persephone will Dash out of its way.

While it doesn't seem to be in a direct trajectory aimed at you, it will come close some distance away from the tower.

In Abyssal, Persephone will point to the incoming object and ask one of the devils standing there “Hey bro, any idea what that is?!”

“Yeah.” The devil says. “It’s called a meteor. Bro.”

Jill laughs as the devil says bro back to Persephone, but she watches the meteor fall down and wonders why all these devils are standing in line like it's the DMV. And then she wonders what the DMV is.

As the meteor hits the ground, it sounds like metal crashing and makes a decent impact crater off in the distance.

Jill looks over to the crater. "Should we go investigate, mes amis?"

Nik Nak shifts. "Uh...I guess so," she says reluctantly.

Persephone ambles over to the crashed "meteorite", and checks it out (Investigation: 15).

Laying at the bottom of the crater are two things.

Smouldering, a red headed woman lays unconscious facing up and badly beaten from the impact in the center of the crater. She is wearing tight form fitting red and yellow plate armor that is heavily dented and broken in many pieces from her crash landing, and her hammer and shield are thrown aside from the impact. Her leg is twisted in a very unnatural position and is clearly broken in a few places. Upon her chest, she is protectively hugging an unconscious small red frog that looks like some sort of spell caster. Both are covered in a red fluid, like they have been dipped in an enormous vat of blood and left out to dry in the sun. Neither are moving, but, strangely, the woman has a soft smile on her face as if she is at peace despite her injuries.

You notice in the distance that the devils waiting in line have actually left the line and have started to walk towards you all to come see what the commotion is all about, but will take a few minutes to arrive at the crater.

Jill lets out a gasp when she sees what's in the crater, but she maintains composure when she sees the devils start to walk over. "Madame Hiriart, get the machine ready so that we can get out of here! There is business that we need to attend to!" She grabs the hand of the unconscious woman. "Merci Bane, pour ta miséricorde et la protection que tu continues à nous accorder.*"

*-Thank you Bane, for the mercy and protection that you continue to give us.

"Uhohuhohuhoh," Nik Nak says as the devils start over. As the others start lifting the pair into the war machine, she's waiting in the vehicle.

In shock, Persephone quickly ambles down into the Mishacrater, and helps Jill pick up and carry Meep and Misha back to the vehicle.  Once they've arrived, like Mr. Miyagi, Persephone claps her hands together and mumbles some intelligible phrases while laying her hands gently on Meep (Cure Wounds healing for 2) and Misha (Cure Wounds healing for 2).

Crying out with excitement, "No body must have wanted your souls!  You're BACK!"

“Alright people get in!” Amelia shouts when she brings the machine over as Jill instructed. “Don’t got a lot of time here!”

Misha, severely wounded from the impact, remains unconscious, but stable. You can either get the **** out of there, or fight the devils.

Jill's going to usher Misha into the vehicle and instruct someone to get Meep in there, prioritizing getting her friends to safety where they can recover over fighting. "Let's get back to the base, now!" 

Nok Nok rushes to Misha, placing a hand on her and releasing a blast of glitter and light. "Me thinks we should get out of here!"

"Yep yep, let's go!" Nik Nak agrees, giving Meep some healing as well.

11 hp to the gorf.

Meep groans in pain from the impact but seems half conscious. Muttering under her breath she hisses. "Damn... Bag monster... Misha?" 

"Misha is alive. Apparently she kept you safe." Jill carefully holds the hand of her friend, relieved that she's still alive. "Be still, mon amie. Let us take you back to base."
