They are going north through the state forest to avoid Salem. 10 men-at-arms and a couple of knights.

Once he is unconscious, they will tie him up and gag him and then obscure him from easy detection. Sarah will also run through her usual series of spells including Mirror Image. Then they will deal with the gates once night falls.

OOC: Is this pre or post knockout? If pre knockout, Sarah will let the Father answer and then refresh the spell on him and ask him to return after dinner. Otherwise... she'll do her best to fake his voice and say 'A tray by the door, please'.

I see you grabbed Max. He is an NPC so you’ll need to create your own character first. The world went to crap two years ago so think about what your character has been done during this time.
Sarah takes the tray in and then with her companions help each other to move stealthily to the gate mechanism. They keep an eye out for guards and ready themselves to deal with them and open the gates and then destroy the mechanism.
