"I'm going to put a circle up blocking the entrance so we have a quick escape route, before we go further in." Thomas says as he checks the door warily.
Ooc - thieves tools? Investigation? What do I use?
Well perception to check for alarms and traps. If you actual find something then thieve's tools to disarm/disable.

“Can you tell me the difference between a witch and a wizard?" "Sure, a wizard is what they call you when they want to hire you, and a witch is what they call you when they're getting ready to run you out of town.” SunWolf replied ― Barbara Hambly, The Witches of Wenshar

As it is not locked you open it easily. It seems to be a natural cavern that goes north for 20' with a 5' wide branch to the east. Another 10' north it forms a junction with a NE/SE corridor.
George leads the way into the cavern, attempting to stay in the shadows and watching for anything unusual

You've got that see in the dark thing haven't you? You see a light source coming from the (I just realise I said NE/SE, it should read NE/SW) NE corridor.

OOC - Everyone has Darkvision for 8 hours
Thomas slips into the shadows, sustaining his altered form as he keeps his bow steady. Gamliel silently swoops along, trying to keep out of easy sight, as well.

You move to the outskirts of the light and see two connected caves. One 50x50 (roughly speaking) and the other 60x80. The larger area has 4 exits plus a passage to the smaller area. The larger area has various adults and children doing the normal day-to-day things of the Changed world. The smaller area has only the connecting passage and seems to be the sleeping area. About 30 people in total, half adults.

There was no way they'd get passed that many people. A distraction? Smoke? An alarm or illusion? Sarah tries to see if there is anything useful around. Could they wait until nighttime when they slept?

Perception: 17
You perceive that these people look like noncombatants, support staff and children - not fighters and clerics.
I'm going to post the map. Please only take note of the areas you have already explored. All the corridors that run to the outside of the map end in blank walls.

That's okay. The zombies are dead
You perceive nothing out of the ordinary. The door has a spinning wheel lock.
OOC: Getting that Fallout vibe, lol.
Attacking zombies seems to be easy. Opening a door takes forever.
Sarah decided to give it a try.

George keeps his bow up and stays to the shadows, moving forward carefully and quietly. (do I need a new stealth roll?)

Well, that was interesting.
Panic is a mechanism that strengthens the gene pool.
Sarah follows on as quietly as she can.
