The dangling orc nods in terror and proffers his hand to Anton. He cowers behind the monk while the illusory orc is yelling at him. "Sorry, No one tell Junash anything. Ulfe tell us to go raid and we go. Ulfe is ogre. Ulfe is dead?"
The remaining corpses have several javelins and a few great axes that are not of any real quality. Though you do find several pouches of coins and a few trade bars mixed into the crates and barrels in the area. 41 gold, 90 silver, and 55 coppers worth of things.
From the room with the beds, you hear a faint voice calling out from the caged room from the south. They are speaking common, "Hello? Could you please help us?"
The orc identified as Junash, says, "No see Burdug. Still alive. Burdug is shaman, Eyes of Gruumsh. She not live near soldiers. Near to stairs deeper into dwarf hole"

(OOC: Just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Joyous Kwanzaa or other winter holiday of your choice. Been great playing with you this year and I'm looking forward to continuing into 2020!)
Yeah! Happy Holidays, Festivus, Yule and whatever else anyone is celebrating. I am going to be going dark for a few days as this weekend is a busy one. My mom and her husband are visiting, plus NYE is the busiest restaurant holiday next to Mum's day. But looking forward to kicking some ass with you all in the coming year!

OoC: Geth left the room right after he ordered the orc to cooperate with Anton, so he will direct Anton (via message) to handle the prisoner, but pings him periodically in case any assistance is needed.
"Junash, tell me about Burdug. Does she have body guards? What kind of magic does she use? Where are the stairs and are there traps? How many more of your people are in here?"
Obsben follows Scar's example. Although he'd glance off now and then wherever the prisoners are, he trusted those more skilled in freeing them to do so. That said, as soon as he starts hearing doors getting open he cannot help but hustle over in that direction, and check on the prisoner's conditions.

The keys to the cage are not found on any of the corpses nearby. But the lock on the prison door falls easily to Bho's deft touch. The two haggard looking humans in the cage are dehydrated and filthy, but thankful.
"they were holding us for ransom. We tried telling them that there was no one was going to pay for us. We are just farm hands. They told us if no one pays they'll just eat us. Thank you for saving us."
The room with the red glow uncomfortably warm. The glow itself, as well as the thick sulfuric smoke, emanates from a deep fissure in the floor. The heat of a subterranean lava well radiates outward. A small natural chimney extends upward and into daylight.
And we cut back to Anton and Junash.
"Burdug speaks for Gruumsh. Her power is His power. Yes guards. Females, the strongest of us. Burdug keeps them from Ulfe." He nods when the stairs are mentioned. "North and West from barracks. Burdug keeps her dirty pets there. Bats that drink blood. And traps yes. The Dwarf door breathes fire. That is all I know. Please let me go. I run from battle. I am a coward, Gruumsh will tell Burdug to kill Junash."

How easy would the chimney to be climbed? Would it be dangerus with the lava well? Could we use it as an exit, rest outside for an hour and climb back down?
[OOC: Rest is fine with me, though I am not sure we want to climb a chimney that is over a lava pit/river/hole....If one of us falls, they won't be needing that short rest anymore. Also it was mentioned a small chimney, we might not all fit.
We could just camp in here for a bit, maybe toss the bodies down into the lava to get rid of them. At least this way we know which avenues to watch for anyone creeping up on us. Maybe set some tripwire traps to alert us if anyone comes approaching.]
OoC: Agreed, probably better to just camp in here. It doesn't sound like there are other exits that we can see? If not, Geth can stand watch in the entryway disguised as an orc while we rest...
ok, let‘s rest in the room with the lava well/chimney. Bhuraelea will set up a tripwire with a bell near the entrance to this sidecave, and ballbearings and normal caltrops behind it (on our side).
I will be posting up tomorrow guys!

Cass moves south to the caged room, "I will help you." he turns and shouts to the others, "Did any of you find any keys?"
Cass looks around the room for a set of keys... hanging on a wall, or nearby on the ground.

Anton takes Junash's weapons and empties his pockets.
"Run from this place. If I see you here again, I'll kill you. If you raise the alarm against us, I'll kill you slowly and painfully."

OoC: I'm all in favor of a short rest one way or another. Geth is pretty well spent after that fight.
