Manfred leans even closer towards Tallow, pitching his voice even quieter. ‘Hmmmmm. Did you ever want to be a whale, Tallow? I’d bet you could do quite a lot of damage to the ship, make sure it can’t attack…’he grins ‘Plus, I always wanted to try this magic on someone else…’

"I'm sorry, did you just say a whale...?!?" Wakka commented semi-quietly after hearing Manfred. In a more hushed tone, he added, "I don't know what crazy plan you have cooked up Manny, but I hope it doesn't involve me drowning or swimming miles back to shore. I will not forgive you if that happens."
(OOC: I am all for turning Tallow into a Whale XP)
Tallow stifles a squeak of excitement. He telepathically sends Manfred and Wakka a picture of a whale eating a pirate.
(OOC - Tallow has limited telepathy. Let me know how you've dealt with this before. I thought that simple pictures could be a good way of getting it across)
Limited Telepathy AI, pg. 74
You can telepathically communicate simple ideas/concepts with any creature within 30 feet of you, as long as it understands at least one language.
Manfred grins, and shoves Tallow over the side of the rail without further warning... Leaning over he gives his lute a brief twang, followed by some whispered words of power, and Tallow finds himself wrapped briefly in a numbus of power, before he suddenly finds himself enlarging.....
'Here we go...' Wakka thought to himself as he watched Manfred shove Tallow into the water. As Manny turned the goblin into a massive whale, almost simultaneously, Wakka burst into action as well; moving towards the nearest cultists and attempting to shoving them aggressively into the water while they were distracted!
Attack 1 (shove): 26
Attack 2 (shove): 26 again!
Bonus Action (Telekinetic Shove): DC14 STR Save or pushed into the water
(OOC: Wakka is trying to shove as many people in the water as he can for Tallow the Whale!)
Genren follows suit as he climbs out of a window and climbs up the side of the ship. Without revealing his face he tosses his full bag of ball bearings onto the up deck hopefully creating difficult terrain for those above them. He'll continue to climb to underneath one of the ballistas and will attempt to push it off target before it goes to fire with his crowbar (he'll try to be as stealthy as possible with this. Little nudges from off the side of the ship.

Manfred shoves Tallow overboard, then turns him into a gargantuan whale!
Tallow the whale...
Wakka starts shoulder checking cultists into the water like some weird contact-sport! (Splash 2! DC14 Str or a 3rd goes over: 13)
Genren tries to quietly climb up the outside of the ship (Make a DC13 Athletics save or fall in the water!)
Pirate ship: The captain yells at the crew to tighten up the lines and trim the sails, adding a boost of speed! 60 extra feet of movement . The first mate then directs the mangonell to fire at their target's masts and sails, trying to reduce the Dancing Delight's speed! Attack: 14 Damage: 28
Dancing Delight: Coming under attack, the ship you came here on turns and tries to flee! (only goes 2.5k' this turn...) The large rock from the pirate ship misses the sails!

Tallow the whale lets out a blast from his new blow hole. He then makes a bite attack against one of the people in the water Attack: 14 Damage: 19
If the target is a Large or smaller creature, it must succeed on a DC 14 Dexterity saving throw or be swallowed by the whale.
He uses his second attack to take a swipe at the boat with his tail. If he can catch the other pirate in the water with it as well, that's an added bonus. Attack: 28 Damage: 37
Tallow the whale rams the hull of the ship, causing some of the timbers to crack! A couple of sailors fall in and he swallows one whole! (I think his name was Jonah...)
Genren easily climbs along the outside of the ship and tosses a bag of ball bearings up on an upper deck (that's your action for this round), knocking down 4 sailors.
Tallow will swim down and try to breach high in the air to crush the Forecastle in an attempt to destroy it or at least take out the weapons. (Unless you want me to roll otherwise, I'll roll this the same as a tail strike) Attack: 17 Damage: 39
If he is able to land on the Forecastle, he will try to bite anyone within range before flopping back into the water. Attack: 12 Damage: 16

‘Wouldn’t you all rather be doing something less dangerous, and nicer, such as trading? Even the creatures of the sea are condemning your actions…’ Manfred asks the crew, desperately striving to give them a chance to step back from their violent and dark ways…
(Persuasion: dirty 20)
‘Isn’t it a bit rude to be attacking ships like this?’ Manfred asks whoever is manning the mangonel, attempting to ask at precisely the wrong time… (Manfred is using Cutting Words to reduce an attack roll by 5)
Tallow the whale broaches and strikes the ship again, and more of the hull is damaged! The rest of the party can hear shouts coming from below decks about flooding in the hold... Unfortunately, in trying to bite a crewman, Tallow instead bites down on a spar, taking 9 damage.
Manfred tries using his words to dissuade others from violence, but discovers that sometimes only violence deters violence. His cutting words about the abilities of those aiming the weapon is enough to help distract them (will subtract 7 from the attack roll =)

Genren will climb up slightly higher on the edge of the boat, keeping as hidden as possible and start picking off the crew that have fallen down or are still prone with his bow and dancing weapon. (do I get advantage on both attacks?)
Genren tries to pick off the crew that slipped on his ball bearings. (you can either hide, or use your dancing sword. Both require a Bonus action... Ranged attacks against a prone enemy are at disadvantage - melee attacks are at advantage.)
(Are there any sailors adjacent/ within 30ft of Wakka he can attempt to shove overboard? If so, Wakka, will charge as many as he can and attempt to find more "friends" for Tallow the Whale!
Shove #1 - 11
Shove #2 - 15
Telekinetic Shove DC14 STR Save)
(If there're not/ less than 3 sailors within range, I'll adjust above)

Wakka is making his own version of a mosh pit...where's the bard when you need some heavy metal music?!!? (cultist 1 Athletics: 2 :: cultist 2 Athletics: 12 :: cultist 3 Str: 8)
Genren misses with his bow, but the Dancing Sword cuts deep into one of the cultists on the deck. He then walks on the side of the ship and gets out of sight.
Pirate ship: The crew follows the same pattern - pulling lines taut to squeeze more speed out and then firing both weapons at their quarry!
Move: 5k ft + 50 feet
Mangonel advantage attack vs sails: 15 Damage: 25
Ballista attack vs sails: 24 Damage: 17
Dancing Delight: The ship tries to return fire and sail away
Tallow whispers to the party member closest to him, "I don't want to be a bad guy. What are we going to do? You want me to set this place on fire?"
Manfred leans even closer towards Tallow, pitching his voice even quieter. ‘Hmmmmm. Did you ever want to be a whale, Tallow? I’d bet you could do quite a lot of damage to the ship, make sure it can’t attack…’ he grins ‘Plus, I always wanted to try this magic on someone else…’
(Sorry I've been M.I.A the past few days! It been a rather hectic/ stressful time at work the past few months and it all came to a head last week!)
