Margret, Sildar replies to your question: „Ok yes, i went with a few people into the manor to recover anything the Redbrands might have stolen and to check on the monster you had described. I wanted to know for sure who the two corpses were you saw in there. Moss, Otrov and Daran backed me up so we were able to fight of the monster. It was a Nothic. We found several interesting thinks: a lot of stollen goods and supplies, we use those to set up a militia and strengthen Phandalin as a whole. The two corpses were Iarno Albrek, a friend of mine who came here before me to help strengthen the village and Thel Dendrar, the husband of the woman you rescued. Gundren, we found your tree as well as a mithril longsword, three potions and a divine spell scroll wich i already gave to Sister Garaele. Since you and your group did most of the work, i think half of it should go to you. So you can pick either the sword or the potions. It is one potion of invisibility and two healing potions.
Ree‘lyn and Maltake came back from Neverwinter after delivering some of the prisoners. They brought back a lot of supplies so later we can go through the shops and have a look what you can buy.
"Um, We really need the tree. The long-sword would be nice."
She sighs chest heaving finding the armor needs adjusting.
"Well I'm no bard but. We went on to Falcons from here to find out where it was. On the way We were attacked by a White dragon, it was a beautiful creature but terrifying. But we stood our ground it breathed on me and Kai but Kai took most of the brunt! My newest spell absorbed the elements of its breath! We let loose a barrage of arrows and magic! It saw that we still stood so it flew away Northeast I think towards the mountains."
We went to the lodge and stayed the night Falcon's a Gracious host he pointed the way. We arrived and through magic and dumb luck and our friend Zurzg."
She smiles at the bacon eating goblin
"We Killed a Grick, took out most of the goblins and hobgoblins cleared them out enough for us to give Gundren some much needed rest we also set an owlbear free they imprisoned, I hope its feasting on the gobliniods that got away including Groll.... How many Goblins did we kill My friends? Twenty or thirty?"
Gundrens map is to the east of Phandalin in the Swordmountains. One of you got a map of the whole area ( Neverwinterwood+Starmetal hills+Swordmountains)
„We got reports about this white dragon too. It was seen over Neverwinter a few days ago and it slew a donkey near a local gold mine. My informations indicate that it got its hoard somewhere high up in the Sword Mountains. Most likely in the glaciers near Icespire Peak, you know white dragons and ice.“
Silder shows you on the map where the dragon was spotted. While you study the map Gundren points out again where he suspects weave echo cave and asks about any news from his brothers. Sildar silently shakes his head:
„The last we heard from Nundro and Tharden was over 15 days ago when they went out into the mountains. No one has heard or seen anything since then.“
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Nobody you easily find the Miners exchange. You are greated by a human woman in her middle years. The whole shop looks more like an office then a shop, several shelfs with ledgers cover the walls. I assume you show her the two gems. She takes a scale and a magnifying glass from under the counter and examines them. Do you show her anything else?
Just double checking: Otrov, Zurzg and Margret are with Gundren, Sildar and Kai in the Stonehill Inn eating stew and talking.
Dain went upstairs to rest and will take a bath later ( soap and water are free but a whole bath with cost you 1 silver extra, the inn has a bathroom next to the kitchen that you can rent, including hot water and oils).
Nobody went to the Miners exchange and talks with Halia.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(To Bhuraelea: Sounds about right as far where people are.)
Nobody greeted Halia in turn kindly, and approached her more confidently in step out of comfort. Even if most in town had thus far been kind to the tiefling's presence, some experiences weren't so easily forgotten. Regardless, Halia had been watched closely as he sought gauge if her efforts were genuine, or just putting on a show, having already decided on a less generous price.
As he did so, a thought occurs, and he presents the golden implements -- a chalice, a knife, and a censer -- asking at least who might be the best in town to sell these two if she had no interest in their purchase.

@Nobody: Halia is a hard to read person. She seams friendly but also ambitious. She offers you 16 gold for the two stones. You get the feeling that she thinks that to be a fair price, but also that there may be a bit of wiggle room if you play your cards right. When you take out the three golden objects she seams genuinely impressed: „Those are beautiful, where did you find them?“ She has a closer lock at those too: „You see, art is not my speciality, but i can offer you 250 gold for them. It pains me to admit, but Linene Graywind and Sister Garaele may be able to offer you more. What i can do, is to give you the 250 straight away and a promis to give you a generous cut off the profit once i was able to sell it.“
@Inn: „I am tired,“ Gundren replies, „but i am worried that this Black Spider may has kidnaped my brothers too. Or worse, that this dragon may have gotten them.“
„As for Grista and the Sleeping Giant Inn, she is very upset, first someone broke into her house and stole her receipe book and some family heirloom and then all of her customers got arrested or ... well, you know what happned with most of the Redbrands, don‘t you.“ Sildar replies to you with a little grin.
"Zurzg want to kill dragon!" The wiry goblin jumps up and down on his seat in excitement, babbling away excitedly to himself of battles to come... until Sildar mentions the Sleeping Giant Inn, at which point he suddenly, goes still, falls quiet, and examines the opposite corner of the room with great interest.
"I can't speak for my friends, but I'll help to try and find them, Gundren. But we do need to stock up on things if my friends are going to help. How far of a travel is this cave, I guess we can leave in the Morning if you feel up to it."
She smiles then gives Zurzg a stern look then looks back to Sildar and laughs
"I guess that is what comes of associating with thugs. Course when I met her she didn't seem to bright.. If you would, suggest to the towns people to patronize her business. Not to stay but to eat if she can cook. I hate to see someone go hungry or loose their Livelihood cause of their stupid blind mistake"
@ Margret: Gundren replies to you: „It‘s around 15 miles to the mine, the best bet would be to circle northeast around the foothills for 10 miles and then cut south east through the valleys into the mountains. I am not a big fighter, but i could set up a base camp to have a point you can fall back to if something goes wrong. We can set up supplies and move early in the morning? Sildar, could you bring me my figurine and the sword for the lads over tonight?“ Sildar nods at the request of the dwarf.
With Halia: "I must admit that 250 gold is certainly nothing to sneeze, Ms. Halia. And for your honesty alone, I feel almost compelled to strike the deal hear and now." Nobody confesses after taking a moment to steel shaken nerves. "Truth be told, these items were not easy to come by. But, assuming you have not already heard, me and my friends search for another out in ruins lost to the wilds yielded quite the bounty it seems. And while I'm sure most would be excited in a guaranteed profit for the future... we... nearly lost our lives in that outing. Add on to the fact that the next leg of our journey promises to be harder, if not more so...."
He gives an apologetic look. "To say the least, we'll need as much coin as we can get in the moment to fully supply before we set off again--" He admits, then sharply held up a finger in a halting gesture. "But that said, if you could at least go twenty-five on the two stones there, I will promise to speak to you first if we should come across any other unexpected finds. A mere pittance for assurances of at least being the first to acquire something profitable in the future." He states, giving an almost devilish smile. "And you strike me as quite the capable woman if so confident in acquiring a hefty sum for selling these golden items. Though, in the event that I myself am unable to return, I will of course make sure my compatriots know of the deal, and coin due from your generous cut should go to them." At that, if in agreement, Nobody is sure to give a description and pen down the necessary names.
(To DM: Just to be clear, the 25gp mark-up is assuming its was 16gp for both. If it was for individual stones, then he would make 20 instead.)

She gets up, hands Tolbin the money for a room "How much is a bath?"
"May I see your map Gundren? Marco just gave me some info."
She then points out where she thinks Groll stopped when they traveled west and from that point their movement northeast
"The Goblinoids met here Groll of course was pissed there were four of them including the shaman."
She thinks she should of let Marco shadow them abit longer but ohwell.
