Kai will look around the room curiously and quietly for anything else that may have a magical aura before taking quick notes on the floor plan sketch and looking to the rest of the group. "Yep. Hunters. Should we continue? There doesn't seem to be much of interest in here." In honesty, the stuffed animals are slightly creeping her out as they stare lifelessly at the party, but she doesn't want the rest of the party to know that really. Kai will head back to and hover in the door to this room, slightly out if the way so Benito can peer in if her wants.

Somewhat measuring the hunter by his conquests, Bukowyr wonder how would his own Hunter's lodge look like. - "A remorhaz, perhaps? A sovereign aboleth? " - until he realizes he may have spoken his thoughts out loud. Trying to make that go unnoticed; hoping for that even, he looks at the pipes rack, pretending he knows what to do with whatever is in it. Looking closely, picking it up. " Wine!" - when he glances at the cask.

"Well, hello. What's in here?" He raps the eastern cupboard to see if it's hollow, his curiosity immediately stoked by the presence of hidden things. "Anybody want to try to get this open? Locked things are interesting things."

Kai watches the two with a slightly amused smile, slightly thankful from the distraction from the stuffed beasts. "Now boys. Remember why we're here. We are not thieves. And we have no idea how long that wine has been here or if it is even wine. I am not however against opening the cabinent to see its contents. Just be careful of any traps something like that could have."

The gnome gets a twinkle in his eye as he smiles back at Kai. "Of course not! Perish the thought. I'm merely suggesting that we don't want to leave any stone unturned, yes?"

"Now, of course, if the cabinet happens to contain fascinating lore on the history of this strange place that grows stranger by the hour, I'm sure Rose and Thorn wouldn't mind if I just, ahem, borrowed some reading material if I put it back after we're done here."

Benito, when hearing that Bukowyr exclaim that he has found wine: "I can definitely use a glass, but I will wait until after we've dealt with what burdens this home."

 Benito's smashing was unsuccessful, right after you hit the cabinet noticed that it was pretty sturdy - nothing to be ashamed of

Kai looks to the boys with an amused smile before shaking her head and looking at Kayla. "Boys. They're just as curious and and ridiculous as the ones from my old temple. It's a good thing we're here to keep them in line. Right?" She smiles at her playful banter and looks out the door to the main hall. Now that Benito has left his position to help the others with the cabinet, Kai will keep watch out of the door for anything trying to ambush them

More than once the height difference got in the way and after a couple of attempts they just couldn't open the cabinet. 

"Hmph, a bunch of fiddly tools and dead animals, and no books? Some trophy room this is!" He grumbles under his breath and checks out the kitchen and dining room instead.

Bukowyr steps behind Benito, as the Goliath prepares his own tool kit for the situation. 

Kai watches Torvus as he comes over and she lightly places a hand on his shoulder. "Now Torvus. You shouldn't wander alone. Boys? Can we come back to this cabinet once we have cleared this first floor? Maybe a new mind after a short break will help open the lock?" 

With a slight pause for waiting, Kai will follow Torvus out of the trophy room, relieved to be away from the stuffed animals, and head towards the dining room first, walking beside Torvus. She will speak lightly in friendly conversation. "Maybe they have a library on the higher floors? We'll check up there after this floor."

(I don't think Benito was offering to open the cabinet. More of advising against his use in dex based lock picking.)
