HP roll for lvl up: 11

(OOC - Benito has a holy symbol on his person. I would be using that as his spell casting focus if you are allowing that? I dont remember if you've specified in the past.)

Bukowyr returns and shares with the party that the room where they fought the armor looks the same as they left it, pieces of the armor scattered everywhere and the secret door found by Kai and Torvus. 

((Ooc: you may use that as Benito's holy symbol - regarding HP increase please roll your hit dice or it's also ok to go with the average increase)

(Kai just took the average for hit die.) 

Kai nods smiles at Bukowyr. "Let's proceed then. No time to waste." Kai stands up, dusting herself off before allowing Bukowyr to the lead group back to the armor room. She returns to the secret room and carefully opens it, stepping to the side of it without anyone in front of it to open it to avoid hitting anyone with any traps.

"screech! " - Bukowyr makes a noise out loud while pressing Kai's side with the intent of scaring the Water Genasi. Adding while laughing: - "That what you just did is what gets people killed. A trap would have been faster than you." - then eyeing Kai with a suddenly serious look - "I had already searched for traps on this side. It was safe. I will look inside now before we go in."

Investigation 8

(Kai would have opened the door already to the side of it is what I meant. XD ) 

Kai doesn't jump as much as Bukowyr would expect but does out of reflex give him a slight swat on the shoulder. "Don't do that unless you'd like another ball of water to the face. I could have taken my axe on you." Her words are serious but expressed in a amused tone and with a smile. She's not mad, mainly just amused with Bukowyr's childish behavior. As Bukowyr moves to check the room, Kai will peer inside through the doorway to see if there is anything of interest.

Benito feels good about having vanquished the animated armor from this home, and stands quickly from the ground ready to tackle any new obstacles that could come about.

"I will make sure no inanimate objects surprise us from behind." He says as Bukowyr and Kai perform their preliminary investigation of the room.

The secret door leads to stairs that go up...do you want to continue up or keep investigating the current floor?

"Don't we have more rooms to explore here? Let's leave this staircase for later. "

Kai nods in agreement. "We should investigate the rest of this floor first. Then head upstairs. What rooms are left?"

(Can't change the color right now. Sorry.)

"Finishing up here is best.  If there is something like that armor in here, I don't want it at our backs.  Oh and if anyone thinks it's useful, I have mage hand.  That would allow me to open doors or chests and manipulate things from a distance."

Investigation 10

The floor have two big rooms, one in the north and the other one south. There's also two smaller rooms, one  next to the wall  where the armor was and the other one behind it. 

Bukowyr would be pointing at the South room.

After Bukowyr confirms that no traps were set near the room you open the door and see the following:

Dust and cobwebs shroud an elegantly appointed bedroom and an adjoining smaller room. Double doors set with panes of stained glass pull open to reveal a balcony overlooking the front of the house.

The bedroom contains a large bed, two end tables, and an empty wardrobe. Mounted on the wall next to the wardrobe is a full-length mirror with an ornate wooden frame carved to look like ivy and berries.

"Time to detect magic in this room and that mirror." - waiting for Torvus to respond - "Or a cloak placed over the mirror, very fast, just in case. "

Kai chimes in happily. "If you give me 10 minutes, covering the mirror for the meantime, I can detect magic." Kai will sit down on the dusty floor and begin to ritually cast Detect Magic.

Bukowyr goes around the previous rooms, searching for a piece of cloth to be used as cover for the mirror.

Kayla takes a cautious step into the room and begins to look around.  The mirror was quite beautiful and she wasn't quite sure why her companions wanted it covered.  Was there some kind of magic that used such things?

While Kai goes through the ritual, Bukowyr goes back to previous room and takes a piece of cloth completely covered by dust and cobwebs that was resting on a chair in the room with the harpischord.

Kayla wait for Bukowyr's return to properly inspect the mirror, but neither her or Kai (after finishing the ritual perceive anything from it)
