The traitor tries to turn away from the attack, but the scimitar slices him across the upper arm. He screams out as the captain comes back around with another scimitar attack. Attack: 16 Damage: 4
The captain sees the fire bolt out of the corner of his eye at the last moment, but it's too late. It explodes into his chest and pushes him backwards onto the ground. He coughs up blood as embers lift up from the wound, dancing like fireflies above the broken body. The coughing subsides as his head falls back onto the earth, lifeless. He had 10 HP left!
Burik, you're up. The crossbow bandit is behind a tree about 30 feet away.

Seeing this, and watching as Burik starts to hone in on his location, the final bandit sends a bolt flying at the dwarf... Attack: 12 Damage: 5 + 1

The traitor bandit watches as the bolt narrowly misses Burik's shield and lodges itself into his shoulder. The dwarf stumbles forward and falls onto the ground. The bandit moves around to the other side of the tree and leaps out, swinging his scimitar down on his former companion. Attack: 7 Damage: 5
Brask stands, furious, his maul held high as he looks for his enemy and finds whichever bandit is close enough for him to hit. You'll pay for that. He uses his bonus action second wind, healing himself 4 HP.
Then moves towards the closest bandit. If he's not in range, he will dash to them, otherwise he will make a maul attack:
Normal movement is fine, he was about 30 feet away.
Outnumbered, the final bandit is distracted and seems surprised when Brask steps around the tree. He looks up with wide eyes as the maul swings around and crushes his head against the thick trunk. He slumps down into the dirt. Everyone is out of combat. Burik and Percival are both down.
The traitor joins Brask standing over the fallen bandit. He looks down and spits on his corpse. "Hell of a swing you've got there," he compliments the minotaur. "If you bring your friends down to the tents, I can heal them up."
He looks down the slope and sees Cynder tending to his own wounds. "You too. I owe you a bit more than just healing." He walks down the embankment back into the camp and heads into one of the tents.

Brask doesn't seem to know his own strength, and as he goes to help Burik, he grabs him way too hard - the dwarf winces in pain and coughs up a bit of blood. The bandit exits the tent with a dirty shoulder bag and looks up to witness the latter part of this. "Shit, you're going to kill the poor guy," he jogs up the embankment and kneels down between the two fallen adventurers.
He digs around and pulls out some medical supplies along with two light blue potions. He holds Burik's head as he pours one into his mouth and heals him for 8. He turns to Percival and does the same, healing him for 6.
Turning toward Cynder, he offers up a bandage and some ointment. "This is all I have, but I know people in Lovilra that can put ya'll up and get you right." He looks around a bit cautiously. "We shouldn't linger here too long."
"Oh, right!" He almost lets himself smirk at the thought of forgetting he's wearing bandit garb. "Apologies. My name is Sam Stisk. I'm with the Sons of Oshait. (Roll a history check...or just ask if you want more info) Infiltrated these guys about a year ago and have been traveling with them ever since, gathering whatever information I could. It was just about time for me to head back to Lovilra anyway, but once ya'll showed up it seemed like knocking off Griff would be a nice going away present." He gestures toward the captain.
He goes back to rummaging around in his bag and pulls out another of the light blue vials. He hands it to Cynder and looks down at his own feet. "This is the least I can do. Never meant to let them hold onto you for so long." Cynder, add a common healing potion to your inventory.
Sam heads over to what was obviously the captain's tent. It has black tassels hanging from the corners and stands just a bit taller than all the others. You hear him going through some things and he eventually emerges with a pair of wine skins and a few small bags. He throws the bags into his satchel, takes a deep swig from one of the skins, and then passes it over to Brask. He tosses the other to Cynder. "Drink up, boys. It's a long walk to Lovilra and we'll want to avoid the roads and that garbage heap of a town."

The bolt gets by Burik's shield and lodges itself firmly into his thigh. You feel the warm blood start to soak through your pant leg.
The traitor bandit, still in the middle of the fight with the captain, is starting to swing wildly with his scimitar. Attack: 9 Damage: 4
DM - Above & Below
He misses again as the captain somehow has enough left in him to smile grimly.

He slashes across the traitor's other arm, and as he staggers back, the captain dives forward with his dagger. Attack: 9 Damage: 4

Finally the traitor is able to sidestep one of the attacks as the captain's curved dagger misses his torso by an inch.
Cynder, you're up.

Cynder checks his wound but quickly covers it back up as he notices the blood still flowing out. "This is not looking good.."
He takes a deep breath and fires another Fire Bolt at the distracted captain before ducking down again.

Burik, having recovered remarkably quickly from the brush with death stands up and walks towards the 'traitor',
"And why should we trust you? I do appreciate the help, but you do the wear the colours of the enemy..."
